tan freckles meet, golden hazel green eyes
no spark could compare, ignite
inflame my insides with one silent, smirk. standing
outside, frostbite to tha bone, his look, mellow
happy, then finally a smile. He giggles, like a girl
and that alone, stole my heart.

times have hanged. I search many a night
to hear that soft whimsical note, Now all serious
as if too much worry
weighs him down. he is anchored down, no happiness
in sight what I wouldn't give, do

to light up his face, once more

while dad is off for a hunt. sitting

as the proverbial nail. too corroded,
and too far gone to take seriously.

brought me right to a peaceful place. I know what you mean about rusted writing. Mine sucks, it seems as if my prose soul has a rusted lock on the door and someone has barricaded the other side! But one of my New Years resolutions was to write again. California moves to fast for me, they have forgotten the important moments of life and strive for more all the time. Morgan and I don't fit here, it is work work and more work. By the time I get home I am wiped out. But I understand it is where I am to be for now and I have the power to changed my small part of the world. So here I am writing crappy poetry trying like hell to break through that barricade.


You keep working at it too! It does come back it just takes work. I have missed you, blue sgpeacheds and of course Art. Hope life is well for all and if it is rocky right now, know that this too will pass it is just part of the plan of life.

Good Mornin' Du ... I missed you too. I can not tell ya'll how happy I am to be back online, writing but mostly reading. My creativity normally comes from a bounce on a word or a feeling I sense - in anothers write. I'm blessed to be here among so many talents, such as you and all the others who drop by.

I'm kickin my friend and life is OK now, just having a few problems with my ears, but soon .... sooooooon I will be at 100%, then watch out, lol. Thanks Du ... and you keep it up to, nothing like writing it out, helps tha soul and the carrier ~

My parents sometimes come visit on Sunday. My dad had called yesterday and said he may be over today and my daughter called him back this am, he said we will see, lol .... That's when she got all up in his kool-aid. :::

My daughter laughingly said, " They better watch it, papaw don't wanna provoke me into calling him every two minutes " ....


This hit my funny bone. She usually does keep calling him till they come over or until he will call ME back and begssss, please make her quit !! lmao ,,,,, hehehehehe

When I look out into the grand of the Universe,
I see the stars above, the moon..
and they can't escape my view ,
for they always shine..
but there is always that one star..
the one that flickers, trying so hard to shine
sometimes to hard...
And,
I have to wonder, if that star burnt out
to a midst of nothing in the sky,..

In theory the 'White Dwarf' is a dying star ..
it has been said that sometimes
these dying stars mass together, and with their mass
so great they actually collapse and create a black hole,
...much like a dying soul....
Though gravity is so strong that not even light can escape..
just as life is to the soul of humans.
The light is then spewed back out into the universe
to give birth to more stars.....
and I believe, ...
That is where hope is born...
where the flicker of faith remains endlessly in the heart,
leaving traces of light
to filter the soul

Contrast


She had stayed in all day, waiting for me
To come in from the world and its distractions
This the quiet refuge of her taking me in
And giving herself to me so profoundly

The soft pale blue robe wrapped around her
While my work clothes still hung on me
Til she opened the silk and let it fall
And wearing nothing but a smile, she kissed me

I took her hand and led her to the room
Where she had already lit so many candles
But the dark corners held such mysteries
Like the discoveries we had found so often before

I took the bottle of oils, lavendar and rose
And looked at her again as she waited still
So small, delicate perhaps though so wild
A rose bud nestled on top of a stem of steel

My rough rugged hands soothed the oils about
Her already satin like skin from head to toe
Silent as I caressed her twice completely
Moaning as I touched the wonderous zones

Then to the chains I took her, hands and feet
spread wide and held up by the links
Steel and leather, flexible and rigid
More suited to a beast instead of this dove

Then I began taking what pleasure I craved
No thought at all to what she might desire
Though still I wanted to hear her cry
From pleasure and from torment that she loves

Time and time again I brought her to edge
Then backed away as my own climax slowly built
Til at last I let cum and cum and cum some more
Before I felt the release from my own want

Then to the bed I carried her, petite and lithe
Curled up softly and securely in my arms
And as the night sank further into darkness
We slept entwined in each other and candle light

A lil note here:

I've wanted to write sooo bad the last couple of days but I am still feeling a bit sick from ear aches and fever. I'm on the mend, never doubt it, just seems to be very slow going, and nothing gets me wound up more than wanting to write and being too tired or ill to do so, grrrrrrr.

So ... I've been reading oodles and oodles of the classic writes. I have posted a few here and there but I wanted to put a spotlight on this poet - Sara Teasdale has got to be one of my favorites .... just one though, lol ~~

Been down and out of it a bit the last couple. Been a rough couple of days these few past. Sometimes life does suck and does throw you a curve ball you knew was comming, and still couldn't do anything about it anyway...ya know?

Funny how we look back
and see who we once were.

Trying to become something better than that,
then sliding back into thoughts and dreams of yesterday.

Its a hard thing to overcome, even now
Even when the snows will soon melt and sunshine will come again.

I shiver with the sorrows of yesterday,
hide in places of my mind though thankfully only moments now
one here...one there.

I hate that I still do.
I hate that I can feel feelings long hidden
a past now a past that will forever remain so.
I hate putting on a smile that lies to the face that sees it.

I hate looking into the eyes and seeing behind them the depth of
something that still exists, that cannot be torn away.
No matter what I've done, how I've done it.
I cannot change what lives within me.

All I can do is accept it and somehow live with it.
