I'll be around probably at 9 PACIFIC time, but that might be too late. It's probably too late to choose another movie so late in the week for Friday...do you want to plan the chat for Saturday? I watched the movie this afternoon = )

Ok, lets do this next Friday, it gives everyone a week to watch it.
Friday July, 26 at 9 PM eastern, the Labrynth.:D

Ok now I have to go and get this movie and watch it ..I will try to be around but there will be people coming in late on it I am betting and I might be one of them..Now are there rules to this as in say I hate this movie is it best to just not say anything or are we allowed to rip movies apart..Take care all and have a great day:)

hate the movie?!

for one thing, you will *not* hate this movie.

But, if you did hate it, I would personally want to discuss why you hated it - was it the editing, the acting...david bowie's teeth? That's a good discussion in itself. I say that if we hate a movie, we should be allowed to rip into it without people responding YOU FUCKING BASTARD! YOU'RE AN IDIOT IF YOU HATE THIS MOVIE!

personally = )

I completely agree with you chicklet ...I know I love movies that people will hate but who cares in the end it is only a movie right..Btw any more pics beautiful:)

Sounds cool but I am not usually home on Friday or Saturday nights. (I'm one of those single, dating people.) So I will have to pass on a post viewing discussion group.

If anyone is interested in watching the movie at the same time for blow by blow discussion (the original idea for this whole thing, a la Mystery Science 2000), I would be available on a Tuesday or Thursday evening.

Have fun.

ANOTHER REMINDER

Since no one responded to my reminder last night, I hope I won't be the only one here tomorrow night at 9 PM eastern.

Two and a half hours

Until we are suppose to have our first movie discussion.:)
Who is poing to be around tonight.
Please post and let me know.;)

Going to dinner instead!!!

Had a tentative date to go see "The Road to Perdition"< but she called to bail, claiming sickness. She's not faking - am holding out she may feel better tomorrow, and we'll go then. I want to see this one.

Last saw "Windtalkers" - it was okay....

Well I will be getting ready for work when most are discussing this movie, so I will go ahead and put in my $.02. I rented the movie and watched it with my 10 yr old son. I think for the time that this movie was made, that George Lucas and Jim Henson showed alot of creativity and it is a good show for kids. However, I did not think it was a great movie and if I were picking a movie to spend the evening watching, I would not pick this one. My son also thought it was pretty good, but would not want to see it again. (He is a very big movie fan, he usually wants to see them several times and buy them also if he really likes it.) However, this is just my opinion, others my disagree.
