Our best wishes and prayers go out to you and your family.

Years ago I lost one grandfather to lung cancer and the other to brain cancer
My best thoughts and prayers for you

more hugs for you and don't worry I don't mind listening to you vent. when you get news like that it won't do you any good to hold it in.

Sorry to hear that...and wish you all the best and a full recovery. May God give you the strength to do whatever it takes to kick it permanently.

Oh Juss Honey...You know Im so sorry its back, ! Hugs and Kisses and prayers, and you can vent to me anytime...Always here for you....

Now kick the shit out of this cancer, and get your ass over here so we can have that Jameson whiskey....You can do this again!

I hope you kick its ass again!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have had several aunts that have battled cancer, two successfully, one unsuccessfully and I currently have my fav person fighting lung cancer now. As she tells, "Im going to strut until I can no longer strut my stuff." and "Im going to keep on kicking until I cant kick anymore." she is tougher than we are, I believe.

Sorry to hear that man. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery.

Hang in there, be positive.

Mike

I lost my grandfather to colon cancer - I was 2 1/2 when he passed away. I have memories of climbing & crawling up on the kitchen cabinets to get to his fav candy "circus peanuts"...

My best wishes for you as well. Two of my grandparents passed from cancer (colon cancer, and leukemia), other more distant relatives ... my sister is a breast cancer survivor.

It's a terrible, terrible plague of a disease ... I wish you well. Today there is more hope than ever for treatments to be successful.

We've never spoken, but cancer is a horrific disease that nobody deserves.

God bless, man, hope you kick its ass.

I am so very very sorry to hear that. I lost my dad to acute leukemia and my grandma to uteran cancer. My mother and my sister have both battled cancer and are survivors (thank god).

I keep you in my thoughts and wish you strength to fight and fight hard.

Rox :rose:

Ciao! I am truly sorry to hear of this my friend. My prayers will be with you and your family.

I've been writing poetry for a little more than 5 years now and wanted to share these two poems, I've written.

The first one is about pushing on and keeping a postive mind.

The second one is about the beauty that lies within, not just nature, but we as people too. (Originally written in Old English, this is the translated version).

I hope nothing but the best for you, PM me if there is anything at all I can do.

Your fellow lit friend,
Joe

When times are rough
And you are all stressed
Don't give in
Keep your head up

Smile day to day
Thank God you're alive
Remember the good times
And keep that in mind

My eyes embraced beauty by night

It is beauty by night that you have often embraced,
looking in amazement your passion casts down, ready to undress;
this bud of love by summer's ripening breath,
may prove a beauteous flower when next we meet.

Black as night, the endless sea, it is curiously beautiful...
by night, even the sky's eyes give a loving glance.
untouched by love, nature's lips are softly fading,
embracing the silent pearl; staring by night by day.

Loving glances pierce subdued black as night darkness,
laying by pure beauty while grieving for your love.
Softly the sky waves pastels amidst its endless canvas,
painting beauty - a pearl necklace on your bare neck.

Thoughts and prayers are with you Juss. I wish you all the best. Don't be a stranger here... you will gain great support from the people here at Lit.

I have known many who have fought the battle with cancer... some have won, some have not. Two aunts with breast cancer, one still living. Too many friends to list who have also suffered breast cancer.. all of them have beat it so far. Last year my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer (she has not smoked for over fifty years), this year it returned in other areas. Due to her age, treatment is not possible.. it is likely we will lose her within the year. Unfortunately cancer is no respecter of persons..it attacks young and old, poor and rich, man and woman alike. Yes they are very close to finding cures for this but it cannot come soon enough.
