I am so pissed off right now. I got a letter from the doctor that the surgeon wants to work with, wanting me to come to his office for a consultation. The thing that pisses me off is that first off, because he is a plastic surgeon, He doesn't take insurance and he wants 300 bucks upfront when I get there, 2nd His office is 150 miles away (one way).3rd, it means I would have to take a day off without pay and gas is so expensive. 4th and 5th, the appointment is not until Sept 2nd and the "tentative" date for the surgery is the 15th. I am soooooo aggravated, I'm about to say fuck it and not have anything done about my eye at all.

Why in the fuck wouldn't a doctor take insurance no matter what kind of fucking doctor he is!!!? Even if he fucking did, it wouldn't take care of the rest of the issues. Health fucking care in America...............

His nurse says it's because it's an "elective" surgery. She was taken aback when I told her i wasn't "electing" to have this surgery, it's because of a fucking tumor!!

Huggggsss back, Psyche. This has been an absolutely fucking crazy weekend. I worked on Friday at my job and then worked with our local search and rescue group at a fundraising booth both that day and Sunday in another town. In between, Hubby and I drove to Baraga, (4 hour drive, one way) and picked up a piano that he bought at an auction. Friday night, Hubby rolled over in bed and poked me right in my bad eye. It still hurts and is so red, it looks like it could start bleeding any minute now. I called the surgeon yesterday and told him it is completely unaccaeptable to me to wait until fucking September to take care of this. He agreed and is calling the plastic surgeon, (who is assisting) and telling him that it's too lonto wait. It makes me wonder what the fucking MRI showed him. Grrrrrr I'm so fucking tired of waiting!!

Fucking ouch! LOL! I had a quieter weekend. I went to the lake to see my baby. We saw the fireworks on the lake with some friends and went to their place to sit around the firering. There's a bar at the lake where the owner has put in a pool area in the back. In the middle of the pool there's a bar and plenty of places to sit around the pool and people watch........I fucking love it. We had a great weekend!

Well, I have a fucking eye appt in Ann Arbor on Tuesday at the Kellogg Eye Center. They have called me twice so far this morning to talk with me which is a fuckova lot better and more often than the doc in TC has. This is only a consultation as far as I know right now but she said it would depend on what the doc says when he sees me.

It will be at least a 6 hr drive from here but luckily, a good friend has a condo in Saline that she is letting us use while we are there, so it will save us a hotel bill. I will keep you posted on what happens.
