We are pretty useless now that the Emporer has fallen, but to be honest, my ears perked up when I heard about that find off the coast of egypt. Maybe we should get a Gungen?? sub and go on an oceanic adventure...

aaahhh, but there is ALWAYS a need for Jedi, you see.. Jedi do not fight wars against this country or that empire, but against evil and injustice.. sadly, there will always be evil and injustice, and so the Jedi will always be needed..
now that the Empire is fighting a losing battle against the New Republic, the Jedi are needed more than ever.. the Jedi were once the symbol of the Old Republic, and by seeing Jedi work with the New Republic, they will connect Old with New.. the Galactic Empire stands for tyranny and opression, of a galaxy dominated by humans who opress other species.. the Old Republic stood for equality to all races, all planets, all peoples.. a return to that way of ruling is the aim of the New Republic.. and who better to help move towards that goal than the Jedi, guardians of Justice and helpers to those in need?
a few Jedi are remebered for grand deeds, saving a planet or a people or sometimes even the entire Republic, but the vast majority of what a Jedi does is nothing close to that.. the Jedi were highly saught after as mediators or diplomats, for they look at both sides with an unbiassed eye.. sure, flashing your lightsaber around galliantly fighting evil enemies may be exciting and thrilling, but most often words will work far better than a lightsaber in solving your problems..
