i got mine on the second day of Pilgrim's Bounty. He's so cute. But beware! i always bring out a pet while doing instances and since he was my newest pet, i had him out. The other night we were doing the heroic daily Utgarde Pinnacle and someone had lit a campfire for the +4 to spirit and without warning, my "plump turkey" companion decided to commit suicide. An emote state, "plump turkey senses its destiny," and he stood at attention, turned around and walked right over to campfire and hopped into it and died on me. It took us all by surprised that we had a good laugh over it.

On another note, have you tried shooting a rogue that is mounted? What a hilarious sight....a turkey sitting on a mount!

I have to say, that quest series is awesome for leveling cooking, I went from 0 to 304 in about an hour and a half.

So I run a LARP, as I've said before. Said LARP has a forum where a lot of RP takes place, and I ran a pretty major scene on the boards tonight. Of the three main participants, one cried because she was overcome with emotions, the other couldn't eat his dinner because his stomach was in knots, and the third called me twice to bitch me out.

I am a gamer, its true. I've been playing Heroes of Newerth - a client/server version of the DOTA mod for warcraft 3, its a 1/2hr- hour game thats very intense. Two teams compete to attack bases - and the learning curve is VERY steep. I have a 0.7:1 kill ratio (eww!) after close on 100 games... i really did get wrecked early on.

Theres no such thing as dead weight - if you're dying or not contributing, you are actively destroying your own team and making the opposing team rich and powerful. Theres a massive selection of characters and items, and the gameplay is very intense and team orientated.

Also, i bought some warhammer (tyranids) recently to paint up in my spare time, well selling my old skaven.

L has recently had some magic cards given to her, and I don't find cards to be value for money at all. The game is pretty interesting, but paper cards for (lots of) money just doesnt stack up for me. The game has developed a lot in 10years since i played last, it's cooler, slicker, and the power level of cards seems to be much higher. Also, there are many more win conditions and viable builds... mindbogglingly so.


and im considering an Xbox 360 for halo3 and Call of Duty: MW2. Oh how i hate dicking around with punkbuster for PC games!

Also, I've played Baldur's Gate recently (thac0 D&D rules, to which im a big novice), Heroes of Might and Magic 2/3/4 (three is CLEARLY the best in the series),

... and been very disappointed with oblivion. Why would i want to jump 39,000 times over 30 hours to get max jumping skill when i can change a variable and experience the (very minor) joy of jumping slightly further. A beautiful world and engine, but the fighting, difficulty, scaling, regen times and interface are all very discouraging. The world and environment is AMAZING (i LOVE picking locks), and even with a ton of mods to add content in, I still didn't find the main quest line compelling. Defeat 20x dungeons which are exactly identical? NO THANKS! Environment, 8/10, modded is a very solid 10/10... but the play experience overall did not appeal.

Basically demolished two of their favourite NPC's in a particularly horrific fashion. And I did so in a manner that they got to watch the narrative but could not really do anything to affect it.

Admittedly, it sucked for me too, as I really liked one of the NPC's, and she was definitely a favourite for moving certain parts of the story along. The other was harmless, sweet, and cute, and was just destined to be a victim of something horrific eventually. It didn't mean I didn't like her. She was a fun NPC, and turned out to be surprisingly interesting in a low-key way.

But, yeah, something horrible. If you're familiar with Vampire: the Masquerade, the youngest Toreador in the area was in the process of setting up her big sculpture debut assisted by the astonishingly well-liked Toreador primogen. A particular pair of exceedingly nasty Sabbat backed by a solid pack interrupted the little Tory and began to Bad Things when the Tory Primogen interrupted. As she was vastly out-numbered, the Sabbat did her in, climaxing in Diablerie, and ran off with the little Tory when the Prince showed up.

The three players I mentioned where my Toreadors, and they got to read the thread as it unfolded. Once it got to the point where other clans could get involved, I moved the thread out into the public area so the rest could see it.

I got slapped yesterday for making people cry.

I did awful, nefarious, wonderful things in my last playthrough of Dragon Age and I moved over to Bioware's site to avoid spoiling the game for everyone here. Eighteen pages of building up everyone's appreciation for my characters and then a horrible death with my version of what really happened.

On my sixth playthrough now. Planning more awful, nefarious and wonderful things in different directions.

I'm so glad I don't have real people to put through this. Too...much..****...

Does anyone have the authenticator for their WoW game? Apparently there is a Core Hound Pup pet for those that do. my account was hacked last year and once i got it back i purchased it.

Yesterday after downloading the patch, i opened my mail to find a Core Hound Pup in my mailbox. According to a Blizzard rep on the forums, it is a pet attached to the authenticator and it is given to every character on the associated account...all present and "future" characters alike. However, you need the authenticator to have the pet...should you disable the authenticator from your account the pet goes away.

He is so cute too. He rolls over, shakes his little tail, sits up and begs/barks and even digs up a bone that they both fight over before the one throws it up in the air and eats it. It's really cute when he rolls over and shakes his tail.

If you don't have the authenticator, it's worth the $6.50 to get it just to have the pet.

Hello my name is Lora, and I am a gamer my poison of choice right now is WoW. I am addicted to my Moonkin . My hubbie and I have been playing games together for about 8 years now we started with EQ and then moved on to WoW we have played that since day of release. I got all the others except like TCG ones and promotional one. 115 or so total.

I only have pets on my main that came free, or were the result of quests I was doing anyway. And I think I've only summoned them once or twice to see what they looked like. I'm cool with other people having them, and think they're neat, but I just dislike having something following me around.

Well, okay, I'd use the Argent Gruntling. That one is cool as hell.
