Gay Bashing In The Media

~sighs~ First of all Nikki thanks for posting and welcome to Lit.

Second of all Stupid a/k/a Bitchslapper finds that by nit-picking, changing his opinion in mid-stride and references such as "sweetie" to you provoke a reaction. Makes him the center of attention, which he so desperately needs.

I did mean to point out this one example as a means of shedding light on the gay bashing innuendo that seems to be acceptable in a lot of the media. You were correct in that, as well as in by raising our voices and economically boycotting such media, making a difference.

I have not nitpicked at all on this issue. as I said, I think the policies of a regulatory body that is directly related this issue are quite important. This is not a difficult concept.

Secondly, I called her "sweetie" in response to her doing the same thing. If you'll check, she actually did it first.

Third, why are you responding by insulting me except to get attention yourself? For that matter, if you don't care whether or not your posts are read, then why post in the first place? To say that someone else is seeking attention while blatantly ignoring the fact that no one would post here if they did not wnat someone to pay attention to thier posts is hypocritical in the extreme.

Fourth, prove that I've changed my opinion anywhere, let alone in mid-stride. Quote me where I've done that. My opinion has always been the same.

Lastly, I've said the exact same thing everyone else has said: If you don't like it, boycott them. Yet it's only valid if sachiaiko says it?

However, if your intention was to illustrate a widespread bais towards homosexuals in the media, you either would've cited more than one example or you would've refered to it in general instead. If you don't want people to discuss the facts that you present (what you call nitpicking) then don't present them.
