Just in the last day or so verabad has made a couple dozen basically identical spamming posts of a political nature. That's a far better example of what you are trying to show them the examples you cited.

Others discussing things that interest them are things that interest them. If they don't interest you the ignore button is your friend. What exactly is your problem with other people's interests? Maybe if you developed some interests of your own you wouldn't feel the need to expend so much effort whinging that others have politucally oriented things that they want to talk about.
