Gen 13

Burnout

Bobby pulled back and looked her in the eye.

"When you up your mind,"he said. "Let me know."

he stood up and walked away to the ledge and sat with his feet dangling over the edge.

Roxy sat in silence, taking a drag of her cigarette.

"This is just so hard," she thought to herself. "I should have to decide..."

Then she sat for a moment, thinking it over.

"Why am I being such a child? Just pick one, Roxy..."

She looked to Bobby, then closed her eyes and thought of Grunge.

Burnout

Bobby didn't know why he was just sitting there...she hadn't pushed him away...if he just pushed her a little she'd giver in...but he wasn't like that.the very thought of forcing her sickened him.

He stood up...and stepped off the ledge...

Roxy looked quickly as Bobby fell... She hoped that he would fire up and take to the sky, rather than fall and break something.

She sat silently, waiting...

Burnout

Bobby ignited and took to the air at the last moment.he loved flying so much.he twirled about...knowing Roxy was watching...then landed by the pool.

Grunge just sat there. He had come inside when Roxy left him, only to find a hole in the ceiling. While investigating it, he had heard voices. Roxy's and Bobby's. He hadn't meant to eavesdrop, but when he heard what they were talking about, he just sat there.

He couldn't believe it...

Roxy sat in silence for a moment, then thought perhaps she should take Sarah's example and go for a good flying to think.

Roxy took off without telling anyone of the leaving, hoping that maybe she could clear her mind a bit.

Rainmaker

The sky was thick and full of probabilities. The clouds were like a kind of cotton candy that was thrown up there to distract her. The kind of thing she could get lost in. Get lost in for hours. And by getting lost there, she could clear hear head.

Her head was now clear. She swooped down out of the clouds. Down towards a certain neighborhood, a certain house. A nice house, a rich one, it had a pool.

She flew in closer. The last time she was here, someone had tried to kiss her. She flew in closer. The pool became larger, more clear.

This was the house she lived in. She was naked now, flying through the clouds. But she had to land sometime. She landed at that house. On the balcony.
