One must look at what Romney said in context. Santos was standing in the front trying to shake hands with Biden for a photo-op. Romney reminded him that members of Congress under investigation for ethics violations should stand in the rear with their mouth silent. He did not mean he didn't belong in the chamber.

It will be interesting to see what the ethics committee investigations come back with and how people react to them - specifically his constituents.

It's sad that Santos has become a meme. Congress should grow a backbone and expel the douche.

Integrity? Who cares as long as they vote they way they're needed to vote. That's how it works for demonrats anyhow....otherwise why would Fetterman be there? The dude's unable to understand half of what going on. He just does what his personal illegal tells him to do. Where's the difference? Integrity my ass. LOL.

That isn't a fair comparison. Fetterman had sterling credentials to be running for the office (he was the state's lieutenant governor), there was no health problem identified when he began to run, and his stroke came when he couldn't be replaced as a candidate. Perhaps when/if he assesses he can't really function in the job, he'll resign, which is the only way he can be replaced. It hasn't come to that point yet, even in a conclusion Fetterman should be making (soon, yes, probably and there are rumblings this is being considered. Right now? no). That has nothing to do with his integrity or the integrity of those who ran him.

Santos not only has no real credentials for the job but he lied to the voters about having them, and the district Republican committee completely failed at vetting him for it. That has a lot to do with integrity of Santos and the Republican district committee.

There is no honest comparison to do between those two, Chloe.
