I guess when it rains it pours.. but I guess there is a reason for everything.. I started my trip to NC last night.. and my car engine decided to go out on me... so needless to say.. I'm gettin started out late now.. but am still gonna go.. just gonna have to take my bf jeep now

I hadn't been to bed yet Jay, and as of right now, still haven't. Since quitting my job, I have slipped right back into my night owl/2nd shift patterns. I got to bed around 8am yesterday morning and slept until 3pm, did a few things, fell asleep about 8:30 last night, woke up at 9:30, and was up until 8:15 this morning when I took a nap until 9:30 when my phone started ringing off the hook. I could easily go to sleep right now (or at least I think I can), but I'm trying to hold out for a full night's sleep. I have that MRI tomorrow at 1:30. When around midnight I got hungry and didn't want any fast food that was open that late, I went grocery shopping and over to my friends house. He's currently working 3rd shift and had to be at work at 1am, but since he didn't leave work until real late yesterday he didn't go in until 5. Plus I was there to act as his snooze alarm, so he took advantage of that. He was going to go in earlier, but he was helping me exercise

I had a tornado warning yesterday. And nothing happened. Not even thunder. Not that I'm upset about not being dead, but they did get me worked up for 30 minutes. Nice today. Go Dawgs.

my place wasn't hurt,but the neighbor lost a roof so im very lucky...where I am we only had 70 mph winds with gust at times over 100 was a bit scary

WriterDom try listening at tornado sirens for hours as 70 to 100 mph wind was howling around you was very nerve wracking,but im at least alive to tell about it

i have it done tomorrow around 1pm (can't remember if appointment is 12:30 or 1:30 hehe have to call around 11 to verify) I had to reschedule it because the stupid insurance denied billing for it saying i have to pay for it and they will reimburse me. i'm about to sue them for everything they have, this is causing me not to be able to seek proper medical car for an injury THEIR insured caused...like i have $1400 to fork out for a stupid mri! thankfully the clinic is allowing me to do a payment plan....anyway, don't want to get off on that subject. i'm going to head back to bed, turn off the tv, and hopefully will get to sleep this time.

the mri is done...it went SHITTY! i just hope that another one is not needed, the technician said it might be. it took an HOUR to do, and considering i have a pretty bad cough right now that is exagerated by laying down, coughing only 3 times during that hour was damn good! you can't very well hold back coughs...but anyway...that little prick has awful bedside manners...my back still hurts and i was finished w/ the mri by 10:30 this morning (they called me and said they had an early cancellation, so I went on in)...anyway, enough ranting i guess....i just want to strangle that little technician.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!! I finally did make it to NC Friday afternoon.. it was nice to see my family again.. and I did get a chance to hop over to the Carolina litogether for a few min just to say hello to everyone.. it was nice to see everyone again!

Well it was back to work and to the gym again for me tonight.. but now I gotta get some sleep.. so Ya'll have a good one!!!

and no, i'm not scared of bankruptcy. i'm juggling everything right now, but the insurance company is going to pay for the extra stress it has caused me. i have panic disorder and had just learned that i had high blood pressure...they are going to pay for it.

watch out everyone...there is a nasty virus going around. it feels like the flu, but i don't know if it is or not. it started hitting me friday (i realize that now), and this morning i woke up 95% better. you ache and hurt from the hair folicles on your head down to the tip of your toenails, just touching your skin hurts....the only relief i got from it was my pain pills that i abhore taking. my sympathy to anyone who gets it who doesn't have strong pain meds to help. (ib proferin 800 was candy, lorcet and oxycotton were the only 2 things that touched it). i've heard of several other ppl in the area just getting hit w/ it today, and another friend had it last week. even though you may think you do not need it, robitussin dm helps significantly, lots of fluids (water, apple juice, orange juice, and soups) you stay chilled to the bone also, so keep warm...bundle up in those old winter comfort clothes.

Jay, good to hear from you. Well hunting starts early in Texas you know. Dove season started Septemebr 1st. I have only been out once (been traveling non stop all month long) but we filled out limit easily. Thinking I might grill up some bacon wrapped breasts this weekend. And bow season starts in a little over a week.

Now if I could just stay home long enough to get out and start scouting. The problem with deer season here is it is still too warm. We need a good cold snap or two to get things hopping.
