Morning Everybody,
I'm back from Canada, and its so good to be back in the US. Prices are so high up there. Beer is $10.00 a six pack normally, and we stopped a little place outside of Banff village and it was almost $14.00 for a six pack. Needless to say, the company was buying. I did see the Canadian Rockies though, and they were beautiful. There is still snow on top of them. I didnt get to go to the Stampede, but the mtns. were worth the trip. It did cost $16.00 just to get in the national park. I thought that was kinda stupid. Then on the way home our plane was delayed several hours. I got home about 3:00 in the morning. But I loved it.

It is nice to see everyone here again, Bama, I'm very glad youre OK sweety.
DC, Man you should see the canadian women. They're lovely!!!! We saw the biggest Elk, I have ever seen. It looked like a cow with 12 point horns.

Great to hear from you again! How goes the recovery? I know many of us were a little worried when you dropped off for so long.

Not so much climbing. Like you and everyone else, I have been so busy. Traveling my ass off lately.

I did backpack the grandcanyon for 9 days at spring break. What an amazing trip. All the way down, up the otherside, back down and all around for over a week. All with a 50# pack! All I can say is... It was cleansing in a way I could never have imagined. The beauty, the fresh air, no cell phones, no email, asleep at dark and awake to watch the sun rise every morning. I really need to post some pics!

Great to have you back!

Dcraz - Awesome! The grand canyon is unbelievable! Words or pictures just can't describe it. I stopped by it awhile back when I was climbing all over the west..didn't get up close and dirty like you did though, that musta been awesome. I know what you're saying about getting away from it all. Sucks that you literaelly have to get away from it in order to get away from it. Some days I wish I could just turn my cell phone off and not answer any of my emails. Tell my boss to go shove it! heh.. well I get those pictures up! I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say I wanna see them!
