Different governments, however, set it at different levels (or, in the US, different state laws set it at different levels). This site opts for over 18s only, which makes perfect sense in trying to strike a balance, but the choice of 18 remains slightly arbitrary. One negative effect of homosexual pairs is that it may unwind the fabric of the family institution. The negative effect of a gay culture en masse is that it may encourage sexual promiscuity that has nothing to do with love and more to do with illogical lust. How did this gay revolution begin? Why through the more and more couples gradually opening up and becoming public! Can you now see how small sins may accumulate into global sins? No the small sins are not that bad, but they BECOME!

As for Satan and God. The story is there to show that God is what is. The first and last! There is nothing higher or more good. Satan defied God and the multitude of biblical stories go on to illustrate why the consequences of that are evil. We are presented with an opposition. At the beginning there is God. That is the basic state, but one of his angels has a fault of unremitting arrogance! And then we see the consequences of that. In the new testament we are shown the cruelty of society and what is the answer too it. There is no 'gay culture' any more than a 'straight culture'. Certain gay people behave in certain ways. Some want to settle down, to marry and raise children. Indeed, part of what we are as humans is people who want to pass something on to another generation. Gay families can produce children (adoption, surrogacy, sperm donors, there are many options depending on the particular family), why then would they represent a risk to humanity continuing toward the future? The lifestyle I refer to is the idea that you can choose your sexuality. No, one gay act is not going to destroy the world but it is an act that points away from what is. You say that using scientific means you can create children. Do you think thats ethical? Why not just clone people? WHy not manipulate people so that there was no difference between man and woman? WHos right is it to make these decisions? Also someone earlier referred to science. Well Darwin elegantly pointed out natural selection. Were humanity to use the tools of science to pervert natural selection, just to fulfill our own selfish desires (because we choose too), the consequences could be dire genetically. Trying to alter Gods creation is Satans will because it eventually leads to all death and waste. To chaos, and thence to nothingness. Homosexual acts have lead to homosexual unions which have lead to homosexual families, which is leading to the use of technology to try and engineer something that is just not the way things are.
