Google is Rigged

I do hate to repeat myself, but sometimes it is called for.

And liberals are the snowflakes. Sigh.

Correct.

Pointing out your failure to actually advance an argument and pointing out inequities is not there being a snowflake nor butthurt. It isn't my problem that you can't articulate anything differently.

So far we have:

Nuh, Uhhh!

Or

Trump didn't PROVE It!

Or

Trump made it up!

Or

If it happens, too bad!

Myself I favorite boycott, but there's absolutely no question whatsoever that if the roles were reversed the left would absolutely be demanding government intervention.

. . .because the left (who are illiberal, not liberal) are in fact, as you correctly point out, snowflakes.

If your life was as miserable as his, you'd find someone/something else to blame too. He's upset because he thinks it's confirmation bias when in reality most people are sane and logical. Poor little fella.

Says the guy who only knows and parrots what "most people" in his limited circle of tweets and facebook memes were told to think. There are actual left-wing organizations devoted exclusively to telling you exactly what you think in the form of easily digestible memes.

If the ideas advanced by others are insane or illogical you would have no trouble whatsoever articulating why they're wrong and explaining why you're right but you can't ever do that because you don't even know the basics about what the things that you're shaking your pom-poms at for your team. Go team!

Yes, because they sigh and kvetch about things that are not actually happening to them.

Calling out companies that favor the Left is not being a snowflake, no matter how long the left's sordid history of mislabeling any and everything that offends their narratives.

Some of why this very observable result happens has nothing to do with any grand conspiracy, some of it is very much because of the market that the left media complex is. It is a vast echo chamber of a few select talking points which are disseminated and then parroted almost word for word across multiple platforms through multiple sites all agreeing with each other and Google sees all of that nonsense and validates it because gosh look at all these people that are citing all these other people they must be telling something worthwhile.

Independent thought on the left or the right is squelched for that reason. The left has far less independent thought because the entire point of your existence is to support the collective and what the collective agrees to do or not to do.

You can decide that the left gets to own all of the major platforms and that it's okay that by accident or design that they actively harm conservative speech but pretending it doesn't happen is either disingenuous or ill-informed. In your case I'm guessing just ill-informed.

^^^ So many tears. :(

It really is very interesting to observe. In a clinical sort of way.

See the above rant. It's one very large testament to railing against this perceived unfairness while at the same time wishing to force his perspective on the majority. With one very large dose of assumed victimhood.

Fascinating.

Just to save some time and effort here because no one on the left ever does much of a job articulating their position I'll go ahead and articulate it for you as per usual. Since Google and the major left-leaning media outlets say that Google does not favor left leaning major media outlets it doesn't happen, despite easily observable evidence to the contrary.

Perhaps those "on the left" don't share your paranoia and conflation of the terms rigging and ranking because they actually understand how Google's spiders and ranking system actually works.

That would require an intellectual exercise he proves incapable of. He's quite capable of misdirection or projections designed to protect his ignorance of current events from cross examination, however. ;)

Who is my limited circle? What facebook memes have I posted? You're a lazy dumbfuck who says lazy dumbfuck things without ever backing your shit up about anything. THAT'S why you agree with 45 and the "unfair" Google and social media platforms. Alienating yourself from sane people doesn't make you right or a rebel. It makes you an illogical dumbass. So, you.

It's not mine or anyone else's fault that you've proven yourself to be nothing but a whiny blowhard.

You don't understand how it works either, damn few people outside of those firms do.

One doesn't need to know the details of Google's algorithm coding to get the gist of what's happening. That much is common knowledge for anyone curious enough to seek it out.

You mean like the war on Christians?

Or the millions of illegals who voted in the last election?

Or that Obama wasn't born in this country?

Or that there is a deep state in the government acting against him?

Because every one of those ridiculous conspiracy theories was said by your Dear Leader. There is no one with less credibility than Trump. No one. He has told thousands of lies since being in office. How anyone could take anything he says as being factually true is simply beyond me.

But your stuff is pure comedy gold. That you think right wingers have more independent thought is simply hysterical. If any of you had a modicum of independent thought, you would realize he is a liar and he hasn't drained the swamp, he made it far worse. And he is in it up to his chin.

You guys are pretty damn funny. :D

Ish will be along in a minute to say he actually created it. ;)

What gets me, is that I can admit that some of the Presidents I have voted for in the past, have made mistakes or I have admitted to disagreeing with one of their decisions.

The problem with the Trumpers, that no matter what he does or what stupid he says, it’s always someone else’s fault. Or a conspiracy theory, the dems etc. They act completely brainwashed stupid.

Google

IS

evil.

A very long but eye-opening article:
The Case Against Google

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/20/magazine/the-case-against-google.html
by Charles Duhigg

...Google has succeeded where Genghis Khan, communism and Esperanto all failed: It dominates the globe. Though estimates vary by region, the company now accounts for an estimated 87 percent of online searches worldwide. It processes trillions of queries each year, which works out to at least 5.5 billion a day, 63,000 a second. So odds are good that sometime in the last week, or last hour, or last 10 minutes, you’ve used Google to answer a nagging question or to look up a minor fact, and barely paused to consider how near-magical it is that almost any bit of knowledge can be delivered to you faster than you can type the request. If you’re old enough to remember the internet before 1998, when Google was founded, you’ll recall what it was like when searching online involved AltaVista or Lycos and consistently delivered a healthy dose of spam or porn. (Pity the early web enthusiasts who innocently asked Jeeves about “amateurs” or “steel.”)...

In other words, it’s very likely you love Google, or are at least fond of Google, or hardly think about Google, the same way you hardly think about water systems or traffic lights or any of the other things you rely on every day. Therefore you might have been surprised when headlines began appearing last year suggesting that Google and its fellow tech giants were threatening everything from our economy to democracy itself.

(much) more...
