Saturday we had a picnic with the pervs from T3 (and other groups)... there were over 50 RSVP'd and we had 40 or so show up over the course of the day.. great turn out!

And I'm sure arrangements for some noise could be made...

There are some of you - and you all know who you are - whom I consider to be real *FRIENDS*... Things have been very, very hectic for both DF and I of late... And I know that many of you have been worried, concerned, and wondering just what the hell is going on for us here...

For you - and again, you know who you are - I need to put out an offer:

I do *not* want to be posting our dirty laundry out on the boards for all to see.

So, I have a request, and an offer: Those of you who know you are our friends, please, just send me a short PM asking to be filled in. And if you aren't sure if we consider you to be our friends, then please, send me that PM anyway, and I'll make a decision when I get your PM as to whether or not to fill you in. I will however, answer you, regardless. The PM that you receive from me will, for the most part, be the same as everyone gets, though there are some who are *much* closer to us and to our situation than others. For those, you'll receive a good amount of detail.

Please note this: DF and I are going some *EXTREMELY* difficult times right now.

*****BUT***** we are *not* giving up...I'm going to put this post in a few threads, just to make sure that everyone sees it. I'll empty my PM box, and make room.Also, my email addy is up to date in my profile, in case you'd prefer to contact me that way...

I know that this list will *not* be complete, but I want to let the following people know that I feel as though you *deserve* to be kept up to date on what's going on:

Every relationship that is worth preserving will have rough periods, it's the determination to work through those rough spots, the commitment to one another, and the love and respect that you carry for one another that will see you through to the better times.

We live in a society that teaches us to throw things away, including people, when we get tired of them or they don't work right or get worn out. But people and relationships are not things, they are worth far more than material possessions. And sometimes people and relationships, like growing plants, need space and time to get where they are meant to grow to...

July 14th - There's been a HITCH...

Hi gang,

For those of you who were considering the gathering in Atlanta on July 14th, 1763 has a "Kinky Party" listed on their newsletter. However, according to the email that Master Dave sent me:

G'afternoon...

while the event on the 14th is a private group renting and hosting it..
it will be open to anyone 21+ with I.D. It is primarily a swingers
event... but BDSM and fetish is included...

Watch the groups posts on local yahoo groups for details... they will have
discounts for advance payments...

The event is called the "Flesh and Fetish Swingers Ball" and it is being hosted by Swinging Atlanta.

The cost is $45 for couples or single males paying in advance, $55 at the door, and the cost for single females is free.

Personally, I don't know that I would comfortable in that environment. I don't have anything AGAINST swinging mind you, but janey and I aren't into that. I realize we wouldn't have to have sex with or play with anyone at all, but still... *shrugs*

Cost-wise it's only $5 more than janey and I would pay to get in normally and the cost includes snacks and drinks so it's not bad for us as a couple, but any single guys who were wanting to come meet us July 14th are thoroughly screwed.

I don't know... There hasn't been a large response to this anyway, janey and I are considering cancelling the evenings activities and just saving the money for our Dragon*Con trip LaborDay Weekend.

So I need, very quickly, YES, I'M COMING or NO, I'LL PASS ON THIS ONE replies. Because if it's JUST me and janey, we're definitely going to skip. But if there are some Litsters still interested in meeting, then we'll go ahead with our original plans.
