Come, let me feel you ooze between my toes. Après toi, ce serra un plaisir.
A bientôt mon beau.
Tzara's Guide to Picking Up Girls (ISBN 0486439917) will be available nationwide this summer.Jesus, what do I have to do to get a girl to talk to me like that?
oh yeah. Be Tzara.
Yes.I confess to being desperately in love with both participants. Does that qualify me or disqualify me for judging?
C'mon baby, light my fire... and pitch my tent. Oh! Don't forget the sheepshank when you run out of the hemp twine and add the silk scarf!Tzara's Guide to Picking Up Girls (ISBN 0486439917) will be available nationwide this summer.
Yes.
The judges will merely need to say which of the two participants better responded to the challenge with the better poem.Forgive me for my lack of experience, but what does it take to be a judge in such a competition? I might be able to step in if you are still in need of one.
ps I swore off being in love for lent.
I'm partial to bowlines, actually, as they work well under load.
Well, hm, since you are fairly in love with both, we can accept you as a judge.Jesus, what do I have to do to get a girl to talk to me like that?
oh yeah. Be Tzara.

It only takes knowing the rules of the challenge and being able to determine if the poets meet the challenge presented or not. YOU'RE IN!Forgive me for my lack of experience, but what does it take to be a judge in such a competition? I might be able to step in if you are still in need of one.

(PS, Lauren will be available to help you during the challenge if you feel confused or conflicted). What do you say, Under Your Spell? Up for a new challenge yourself? It only takes knowing the rules of the challenge and being able to determine if the poets meet the challenge presented or not. YOU'RE IN!
I would also like to STRONGLY ENCOURAGE AND INVITE Under Your Spell to be the third judge. She has been with this thread from the beginning. I know your worries UYS, but there is no better time or better way to learn about poetry than to objectively and fairly assess the under-pressure work of others.(PS, Lauren will be available to help you during the challenge if you feel confused or conflicted). What do you say, Under Your Spell? Up for a new challenge yourself?

i've been away for awhile, but if UYS doesn't want the 3rd spot, i'd be happy to throw my hat in the ring as the final judge....![]()
Oooohhhhh your tinker you (now you probably don't know what that means lol!) I am going away in 16 days time and will be gone for 14 days or I would have been tempted as I adore both combatants too and am eager to see what they come up with. So afraid I best bow out of this one
Throw you hat in but don't make it your best one ....... this could be messy!
So, it's a date...

. Beat that Teeeeeeeezed. In the word of Montgomery Burns, 'excellent'.I have been sharpening my rapier wit and perfecting my riposte.
Que les ecrits commencent!
No Worries. We can wait 24 hours for judges. The only thing that matters is whether Champagne and Tzara are cool with the time of the challenge.Close. I probably won't be in early enough for the beginning of the challenge; I don't get on line generally until noonish, PST. 3 pm EST. But since I'm not writing, just judging, I suspect that's alright. I'll be here the rest of the day, and well into evening.
Please note that 12:00 PM MDT is 11:00 AM PDT, and 2:00 PM EDT. The Pacific time zone (where I am) is normally GMT -8, but I think right now is GMT -7 because of Daylight Savings Time. So, it's a date...

I don't think a soft Bijou works especially to my advantage. She usually shows more spirit than that.Maybe I'll make a call to a certain princess phone and hehehehe... soften up a judge
