Had my cat spayed

It's funny you say because I'd never been much of a cat person. When the missus asked if I wanted a cat I was a bit hesitant because of all the things I'd heard. Now that I've grown a bit, I feel a real connection to her, like she's a member of our family.

When we dropped her off at the vet and came home, I opened the front door and the house felt empty. Without her. Running to greet us with her little paws and her beautiful shiny coat.

Ahh...the things we do, or overlook, in an attempt the satiate the ones we love.

I grew up with cats. They know exactly what they can get away with. I have been living 100% cat free for 25 years. :)

They're cute, cuddly and fascinating and loyal to some degree, but they know exactly what they want and won't lose much sleep if you croke. Whereas a dog will sit on your grave and weep or die of inanition.

If I want a pet, I want a best friend, a daughter or a son.

my little guy goes back in this month to get his nuts chopped. vet said we had to wait for them to drop. i have to say my female cats are much more stand offish than he is. i will second the spray bottle (i use a mixture of water and vinegar) plus the oven mitt. my cats love a good whip/ long stick with strings attached to it to chase around and attack. they are little demons, but i wouldn't trade them for the world. give the cat time, and she will let you know exactly what she likes and doesn't. one of my cats loves to chase balls. i hope you enjoy many years with the newest addition to your family!

Our girl had cat flu. I didn't even know there was such a thing. We had to wait until she was better before we could vaccinate. She wasn't allowed outside and she would stand at the back doors and meow at me. Little kitten meows break your heart. She rarely meows. I remember the first time she meowed. I was standing in the kitchen preparing her raw chicken. I got such a fright. :D

Thank you, you too!

She's a cat, not a blimmin gambling addiction. :D

Should have gone with the unplugging plan...

You think of kids as pets?

GS, are we gonna get pics?

congrats on the new fur baby, girly. :)

When my kitties are little and being bitey I stay calm and only when it gets too much I hiss at them like mum or another kitty would do to back up the no/stop biting and offer a toy instead to distract them.

I say stay calm because the vet told me once cats and dogs are very receptive to our emotions.

Plus kitty might settle down in a few weeks after the op. :)

Your little one is a cutie pie :cathappy:

All three of mine were biters as kittens, none of them bite now. It's natural. Don't spray her. Don't. You'll make her wicked and wary of you. Cats don't like that kinda shit, and they bear a grudge unlike a dog.

She's a baby, she'll grow out of it. Just give her lots of love and plenty of toys to bite and kick the shit out of. She'll be fine petal. Neutering tends to calm males down more than girls in my experience.

I have your damn cat. Same colors, spots mixed up here and there. Two years old. Spayed. That cat is the devil.

I am sorry.

God Speed.
