Grey, grimy, cracked plain
trashed. unlivable. But lo!
A small bright thing blooms.

Can make me sit and ponder

upon the pond's quiet face.

Not my own but one of my favorite haiku.

I think they are fun and have written some in the past but mainly for snarky birthday cards for my sister.
