Severus sighed. He knew she wouldn't give up on this, but he knew they should. Honey, this is Voldemort we are talking about! He obviously has something up to prevent people from doing spells like the one you want to do. I don't want to tke any chances, so let's just drop this, okay? he pleaded with her. Before they could take, Severus heard an explosion. He quickly whipped around to where it came from and saw Neville Longbottom with ash marks on his face and a destroyed cauldron.

 

[Mayu]

She sighed some she wanted to help but he was stubborn as hell, but didn't get a chance to say anything. He saw what happened to Mr. Longbottom and knew he hadn't cheated, she knew he was known for doing this. Walking up to him, she could heard Draco and his friends laughing. His face was covered in black, so taking her hand she placed it in front of his face and when her hand was removed his face was clean. "Guess something didn't agree with you Mr. Longbottom" She said tenderly.

Severus walked over to what used to be Longbottoms cauldron and looked at the potion. "The potion is dark green. It should be light purple. The only way it could be this way is that you messed up the potion entirely. Wrong amount of ingredients, improper order, everything." he scolded.

She looked up at Severus and waving her hand around the cauldron and it was fixed on it's own. Perhaps she was to nice? She was afraid of being to nice. "Take a deep breath and try again" She said kindly and walked back up to Severus. Hoping she hadn't done something wrong as she went back to the desk and sat down a bit.

Severus let Emily fix the cauldron, but normally he would make the person get another. He let it slide this time. From that point on class went by uneventful. Class ended, and Severus and Emily had 2 hours until their next class. Severus stood. "I am going to go see the Defense against Drak Arts class. Care to join?" he asked.

She knew she had done right and sighed a bit, thinking for a moment. She heard what he asked of her and nodded. "Alright Severus" She said happily and sighed a bit. Thinking for a moment as she walked beside him, having a feeling that today would be interesting. "With my little project I'm doing later I could use your help. I can teach you something new"

He grinned. "Well, let's hope your project succeeds." They walked to the DAD class and saw that Mad Ey was teaching the Unforgivable Curses, but actually doing them! "Boy, he must enjoy doing this." Severus muttered under his breath. He got to do his most favorite thing in the world, do bad spells!

She nodded looking at him this wasn't very good but was curious so she asked in her head. "Severus, how did you learn the Unforgivable curses. Did Voldemort teach you? Since I have to say Ive not seen all your power, but even I know your an incredibly powerful wizard"

"Well,I learned them in school from books, but thenonly time I actually used them was when I was a Death Eater." he told her. He immediately didn't want to look at the classroom anymore. It brought back painful memories.

She nodded some and sighed "I know them all, but that was because of what happened when I was a kid, what I told you on the train. Amazing how that kind of stuff can affect a young kid, parents dead. Then learning things no one should know, but I do feel very safe with you Severus" She said and patted his back.

Severus began walking away from the class. "Stay if you want Emily, I just can't bear to look at it. It brings back painful memories." He began walking to nowhere in particular. He just walked.

She watched him walk off and she ran quickly and making sure no one was around, she placed her hand on his, squeezing his hand tenderly. "I'm sorry Severus that you get reminded of your past." Looking at him she smiled lovingly and let his hand go in case someone saw them. "Come on Severus I have something to show you, and we have a good hour and a half before class" She motioned for him to follow her to there room, she looked at Severus. Locking the door with a gesture of her hand.

Taking out a box that was magically locked, something she had gotten during the time she was in London. "Now I got this before school started, there are only two people that can get into this. And that is you and myself, in America people give off certain magical energy. Everyone is different, the enchantment that I have will react to you and you only. No one else can get into it, not even if someone took your form. Got it for both of us and there is something I need to tell you Severus"

He saw Emily take out the box andheard her explain what it was. "What is it? How can I enter it? What if someone forces me to opens it and uses it?" he asked, is mind flooded with questions. He knew whatever was in the box was very important, and wanted to learn everything about it.

She smiled at how he was acting and thought for a moment and looked at him "Just say Open, if someone forces you to open it. The magic surrounding it will hear the stress in your voice, it will open up but the item inside will disappeared but I can get it back just as easily. If your forced the one doing the forcing will think the box is open, also if someone tries to force it open. It will vanish and again it will appear for me if it happens." Looking at it she said one simple word "Open" And it opened up showing a crystal, what she took from Jr and a map.

Wen Severus saw the contents of the box, he was confused. "What are the crystal and map for?" he asked. He was confused more than ever.

Smiling at him she stroked his cheek "I have much to teach you Professor" She said happily and putting the map on the small desk in there. Placing the object she took from Mad Eye's room and put it on the top of of the map. The crystal was on a chain and looked at the map. "Now the map is of the school and the homes of all the professors. Now this is a very simple locator spell, the crystal will spin and then when it senses where the missing person is. It will stop spinning, I know it sounds strange but it does work. You ready to see how it works?"

He was still a bit confused. "So, it will stop spinning when it is near the person, or when it finds the person it will stop spinning and then tell us where it is?" he asked here. He had never ever heard of this way of locating someone.mit was interesting.

She smiled and nodded "Exactly" She put the crystal on the chain as it began to spin and about five minutes later it stopped dead and she looked down at the map, getting a marker she circled it. "Wait a minute, this is Professor's Moody's home" She looked up at him. She closed her eyes for a moment as a part of her could see into Moody's home, it was astro projection she was using. "He's in a trunk" She opened up her eyes looking at Severus.

He frowned. "Why would Barty leave Mad Eye unprotected. Are you sure it isn't his office. If its his home, than he must have some form of protection there." he said. He was still a bit wary about going to save Mad Eye just yet. After all, there were just to many variables.

 

[Mayu]

She looked at him "I would bet my life on it Severus, he must have a magic trunk or something. Ive heard of a magical trunk that has six or seven key holes, and you can bet Junior isn't going to fork them over" Looking at him she sighed a bit, putting away her things. "Well Severus question is, do you trust my magic? If you don't we may end up having a problem" She smiled weakly.

Severus sighed. "It's not that I don't trust your magic, t is just that there are too many variables concerning this trunk. We must wait bit for now. It still isn't too safe for Mad Eye to go and save him now. He could get hurt. Barty will obviously at a point ring Mad Eye here. Ets wait until then, and then make our move." he told her. He thought the plan was logical, and hoped she thought it as well.

 

[Mayu]

She just looked at him and didn't know what to say "You wait much longer Severus and he will kill the real Moody" Getting up she locked everything up, she didn't know what to feel. She just knew he was in danger and it looked like he didn't trust anything she could do, so she headed out of the room not saying much.

"Emily, wait!" Severus cries. Shit! It had gone so wrong! he ran out of the room. He saw Emily walking down the hall. He ran down to catch up with her. "Emiky, wait!" he cried once again. He boosted ahead to catch her. However, before he could, Igor grabbed him and pulled him to the side. Severus struggled, but Igor didn't let go.

 

[Mayu]

She just ignored him for a moment but the second time she felt something was wrong, when she turned she caught a glimpse of Igor and ran after them. "Igor...Severus" She heard them talking and she listened to see what was going on, she had a feeling she knew. If Voldemort was back Igor would feel it as well, but she refused to let Voldemort kill Severus, Igor or Harry.

Severus was a bit shocked when Igor grabbed him, but then he started talking. "Listen Severus! He's coming back. You have noticed it, havent you! My mark is burning and turning black! You know what that means!" he said. He showed Severus his mark, and at that moment the door flew open and Severus saw both Harry and Emily standing there listening. Igor pulled on his sleeve, and left without another word.
