She heard what was going on but made sure that Harry didn't hear it, watching Igor leaving she knew he was afraid. Speaking in her head she sighed "I can sense his fear, He is marked for death but I will not let him die. Are you sure you still want to wait to expose the imposter?" Looking up at Severus she also added. "And don't worry, I heard what you and Igor said. But made it so Harry heard nothing"

Severus was glad Emily was talking to him. "That's good, but he saw that Igor showed me his tattoo, so he will draw some theories. Right now, I think we should protect Harry during his first task. Voldemort might try to do something. If you want to reveal Barty, go ahead. I trust you enough." he told her. He, however, thought that they should focus on protecting Harry during the task for now.

She was taken back that he gave her permission to do it, to expose him. Harry went off to do his own thing and crossed her arms, shaking her head. Unsure what to do with herself, it drove her nuts. "I want to expose him now but, if you think it's best to wait. Then I will respect your choice Severus" She said looking at Severus.

Severus wa snappy he respected his choice. "Thanks Emily."

Day of the first task.

Severus got out of bed dressed. He and Emily had slept with their clothes on for the night. He was xcited for today. It was the first task!

She nodded to him and then the day of the task she was up and about and could tell he was very eager. "Your like a kid at Christmas Severus, it's cute seeing you this excited about something. Hope you will be this excited when we get married" She whispered and chuckled.

He grinned. "I will be more excited than I ever have been or will be when we get married." he told her. He went into the bathroom to get ready. The task began a half hour after breakfast, so they didn't have much time. He washed his face and combed his hair, as well as brush his teeth. By the time he finished getting ready,they had fifteen minutes until breakfast! "Hurry Emily! We shall not be late."

She smiled happily as she watched him rather closely and chuckled happily, it was all to wonderful of a morning already. "Well I'm glad you will be happy then" She said simply. And as he told her to hurry she got dressed just as quickly and smiled happily even more so. Taking his hand as she quickly ran with him to the hall, and let his hand go. She wished she could be open with there relationship but understood the importance of secretes as they walked in.

Once they had entered the hall, it seemed as if everyone had made amends with Harry, for he was talking to everyone as if nothing was wrong, but his nervousness was apparent. Severus hoped Harry had some idea about what he was up against. After all, dragons are hard to beat.

Everything just seemed to be better today, a big grin on her face as she sighed a bit. Thinking for a moment and relaxed happily beside Severus, she had a feeling that Harry would do just fine, and right now she knew that he would be just fine. Emily had a feeling she would be able to do the tasks, she just wished she could have been a student here, to try it. "Harry will be fine Severus" She thought in her head

He smiled, hearing Emily in his head. I'm not as sure. If Voodemort sent one of his henchmen here, it must be o harm Harry. he thought to Emily. But still, Severus thought that for this task Harry would do fine. Dumbledore announced at the end of breakfast where the first task would be located, and all the student immediately stood up and rushed to the location. Severus stood and offered his hand to Emily. "After you."

She listened to him and thought about it for a moment, sighing a little bit as she brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes. Seeing his offered hand she smiled, taking it happily as she began to think. "I wont let anyone hurt Harry and I know you trust me on that, no matter what kind of Hex I can debunk it since I hate cheaters and those wishing harm on others"

He didn't doubt Emily's powers, but she would definitely lose against Voldemort. He was just too powerful, even for her. As they walked to the location for the first task, thy happened to see Barty Crouch Sr. "Hello Barty." Severus greeted. "Is the first task to involve dragons?" he asked the man. Barty was a it surprised, but wasn't too surprised. "Yes, it will. But I hope you haven't revealed it to the champions." he said.

She walked beside him and sat down listing to what he said to Senior, and just smiled at the man. Sure she didn't know him, but she wanted to. Because really his son may have been very bad, but that doesn't mean that he is bad as well. Minding her own business as she grew lost in herself, resting her hand on her stomach. She had gained over ten pounds, and had to keep her stomach hidden which was hard. She was now about two months pregnant.

Severus just talked to Barty for awhile, just some friendly talk,to catch up with each other. They talked all the way to the stadium fornthenfirst task. When they got their, they walked through the door for staff and teachers. Barty left Severus and Emily to go do some task business. What Severus was really wondering was ow the dragons would be picked for the champions. "Emily, how do you think they will decide which student gets which dragon?" he asked her.

She didn't say anything for a while and then when she was asked what she was asked, looking at him she thought for a moment. Taking a deep breath she couldn't help but smile up at Severus, she had known about dragons. "Perhaps the dragon does the picking, a lot of people see dragons as mindless monsters, when really they are a great judge of character" She said with a smile.

He smiled. "I agree. Dragons are creatures of Greta wisdom and virtue, and only attack because everyone tries to kill them." he said. He was bait doubtful, however that the dragons chose. He thought that people would dote choosing, but he could be wrong.

She nodded to him "I can talk to magical creatures, always been able to. Dragons are hard to understand at times, but I hold a high respect for such beautiful creatures of flight" She said with a very happy tone on her face. Resting back as she had a feeling she knew what Dragon Potter would get.

He grinned. "Well, the dragon choices are the Hungarian Horntail, the Chinese Fireball, the Swedish Shortsnout, and the Common Welsh Green. I think who ever. Has the Horntail will have the toughest time of defeating the dragon. Those dragons especially are tough and powerful!"

She smiled listing to him, she couldn't help but laugh "I could tame them all" She said simply and grinned. "But I know that's not my job, you know it's funny. All my life I knew there was something more to the world, then we met and in my wildest dreams I never thought id ever see a Dragon in the flesh" Looking at Severus she smiled. "I owe a lot to you Severus, feels like I was always meant to be here. If that makes sense"

To Severus, it md perfect sense. But, before he could reply, he heard the tent door open, and a flash of a camera. He quickly turned, and saw Hermione hugging Harry, and Miss Skeeter had taken a picture of it. No doubt she would spread the word Miss Granger was a gold digger of some sort. He also saw Krum intercede, and then a picture of him was taken. By then, Albus and Barty had entered with a bag. All that happened so quickly, Severus barely understood what had happened. He quickly walked over to Albus however. All the champions had gathered round him.

She didn't know if she had to do everything the professors did, since she was just an assistant she didn't know what if anything if she had a purpose here like the rest of the staff. So she just walked up to Severus and acted like they had no relationship what so ever, placing her hand on her hip she looked up at Severus and spoke to him in her head. "I don't know about that Krum kid, he looks like someone who thinks he is the best thing in the world, gods gift to women" She chuckled in her head. "Though your gods gift to me Severus"

He didn't show his emotions on his face, but he blushing in his mind. And you are the perfect woman Emily here plied. Barty than began speaking. "in this task, your goal is to retrieve the golden egg, which shall be in the middle of a cluster of ordinary eggs. Te egg shall be guarded by a dragon. If any of the real eggs are damaged, points shall be reduced. Tis egg shall contain a clue for the next task." H than passed the bag around to the champions, telling them to put their hand in it and take out one item. Fluer took out a Chnese Fireball. Cedrictook out a Common Green Welsh. Krum took out the Swedish Sortsnout. Severus was immediately worried. That left Harry only one dragon!

She listened to what everyone got, and realizing which dragon Harry got. Looking up at Severus she smiled at him. "Mr Potter will be fine Severus" She said lowly so only Severus could hear. She had a feeling that Severus cared for Harry, he was willing to protect Harry so much. Which was why she trusted him, sure he may have been a death eater. But he was good, she loved him more then life itself. "I have faith in the kid"

Harry reached in, apparently already bowing which dragon he got, but none of the champions knew what dragons their we're. So, that meant that Potter was prepared! Severus was glad, he didn't want the boy to do. Took out the Horntail. Barty than told everyone who would go first, second, and so on. "Cedric shall go first, followed by Fluer Delacor, Victor Krum, and last Harry Potter."

She listened to everything that was going on, thinking about the dragon situation she sighed a bit. Crossing her arms she smiled "Man I wish I had been a student here, I would have signed my name to this tournament in seconds of hearing about it. If I had been old enough of course" She grinned and was rather excited. Thinking for a moment as she sighed a bit. "Did you ever try out for this tournament Severus? Or was Hogwarts never asked to participate when you were a student here?"
