Sounds like a good idea anyway! Mine's on sabatical, visiting a particularly frustrating sci-fi story and not letting me go anywhere else... :p
 
I finally got the idea to revamp an old story that has the beginning of the idea of Trick or Tryst.

I started to put in all those good sexual scenes. :devil:

Hello,

Everyone can use extra ideas. I have gotten lucky in the last week, two of my readers sent me ideas. One sent an idea for a totally new story and other gave me an idea how to follow up on my current story line.

I loved it. How often to authors on Lit get this kind of help. :heart: :devil:

I finished the first draft of Halloween Story II today. It will still take a lot of work but it's complete. I think it will scare the shit out of most readers then ends with my trademark twist at the end. :)

I am thinking of a Halloween story where my lazy no good muse befriends your energizer bunny muse and then tranquilizers her and is then served to the kids as halloween treats in the guise of chocolate covered nougat surprise. :devil:

Oh come now... Just think of how Halloween was when you were a kid and the ideas will pop out.

Does anyone remember the demon who lived under your bed? What about the one who lived in your closet? Or what about the crazy old witch-lady who lived down the street? And Cats!! I love cats. They are so Halloweenish... They turn into the horrors from hell that night, you know. (Hmmm... hadn't thought of that before. Wonder if that's beatiality?) And Halloween is always "Trick or Treat"... Just that phrase has stories... (Trick - nawty pranks, another word of fuck, etc and Treat - yummy goodies, extra special fuck, etc). I see lots of story ideas in Halloween. There there is always the Gothic. For instance, some guy rents a Vampire costume for a Halloween party but the Cape is inchanted and he turns into the Sex-Vampire that night and roves the streets looking for victims. See?

Halloween is my fav holiday, by the way :)

I'm doing one about a closet demon, though it's not for this challenge. It was actually inspired by something Rob said in abstrusions. Dunno that I'll save it for Halloween either.

I always love Halloween, and I definitely have ideas, but I find it harder and harder for me to get myself to write. I lost the spirit to just do it. I have been working to rewrite this 1 story for 4 years now. I tell myself to fiinish it, then I write a couple of paragraphs and get distracted. I am full of ideas, but my muse sleeps 24/7.

I totally understand what you mean about not having the spirit to write. Last year's Survivor burned me out, and I just haven't recovered yet.

From the "Authors Please Read" thread:

"Halloween
themes: scary stuff, costumes, Halloween traditions (trick-or-treating, etc.), etc.
starts: October 8
closes: October 22
winners announced: October 29"

The story should follow all the normal Lit Submission guidelines published under the FAQ thread. (At least 750 words, etc.) In the notes box on your submission page, you should type "HALLOWEEN CONTEST ENTRY" so Laural will know that you want the story entered.

If you want to join the fun here scroll back and read this thread. It should be fun :)

I have story #2 ready for the editor and finished the first draft of #3 tonight. This Halloween thing is driving me nuts. I have other projects I should be working on :eek:
