Halloween Contest Thread (Sort of)

I have one "Trick or Tryst" - sitting in my current stories folder - ready to go.

Mine's done...I should probably go out and find someone to do an edit of it for me...*sigh*...

why've we got two thread??

The two threads are complementary.

This thread is a challenge thread for AH people to produce a Halloween Contest Entry all of which would be titled 'Trick or Tryst'.

The other thread is the general support thread for anyone considering entering a story in the Halloween Contest.

when the stories come out, we should all visit each others stories and vote. It is going to take 25 votes to be considered to be a winner

I have to be up in Buffalo from Sept 29 to October 1, so I hope they take my story a few days early for the contest. I think it is a good idea to vote on each other's story, so 5's for everybody. :nana: Just kidding. :p

I've finished mine. I had to start anew last night because the first "Trick or Tryst" has grown too large to have finished by Saturday.

I need an editor though. The story is 2603 words. Any volunteers? Please?

I don't know if I'm going to have one done or not. I can't come up with a story. I am actually in the process of writing an erotic horror story, but it doesn't fit with "trick or tryst"... or Halloween for that matter.

I glad I was able to get mine done.

I think if everyone can post on the First , should post when they can? What about it?

*raises hand*

I'm in.

Haven't submitted it, but hope it will make the October 1st deadline. (Is that the deadline to submit or the target date to have the story post?)

Well, you can post it anytime up to Oct 22 (I think) although posting early gives you a better chance of getting the requisit number of votes...

I have mine written, but I really need to get my butt in gear editing it... ug

I've submitted mine, with the note of course, so that I don't feel the need to rewrite it yet again. :D

Working on another now, actually the original before I had to shelve the monster and start one I could finish by the deadline. I'm 3000+ words in and I still have to tie the beginning to the middle and the middle to the end. Not to mention decide HOW it's going to end. What a nightmare. I love it. :D
