If the above CAPPED and underlined part were true, you'd have a point. In fact, it would be such an audacious oversight to not normalize hours worked that I went looking for more info on what the data was actually reporting. What I found was the reported data is median annual salaries of full time employees of each gender. I'm not surprised. Reporting it any other way would be senseless. Here's the slow trend upward since 1974. Note the chart title.

I agree there are other factors that contribute to this, but from what I've seen, the comparison is full time female to full time male employees.

Probably infinitely longer. The problem with the SBA (don't they still make those just in limited amounts?) and the Sacajawea were they were to similar in size and texture to quarters making it tough to tell them apart in your pocket for the SBA and annoying for some machines with the Saca. This is a bill, you have to look at them to tell them apart to begin with. I imagine most people who are capable of earning twenty bucks can see the 20 in the corners and discern readily the bill. Additionally with how frequently the bills are altered to prevent counterfeiting it's not like the 20 from 2000 looks much like the 20 from 2010. Bigger picture, then color so atleast two designs in that gap maybe more that I'm forgetting offhand.

How so? I can think of a lot of ways to honor someone without putting their face on currency. I don't see it as a sign of progress, it's a hollow gesture, more like a publicity stunt.
