Have you ever been drawn...

*hands over the whole cedar drawer full of panties* Doing well- tipsy as a moth on spiced honey. And how are you?

Well, a drawer of panties isn't bad.
Removing the currently worn ones and handing those over is much better.

ok, thanks.

That would mean I need to be wearing panties. :p. It's Thursday- that's a day for drinks, hoodies, and no panties.

Lol. Hiya, Honey! Try the lace cheeks with no crotch- they're comfy. :cattail:

hehe :D

good. i'm not talking to you, either.

hi, Dreamer. *waves*

I'm working on a little good mood of my own. ;)

THROBBS, toss me a pair!

I'm not talking to you first.

Can't hear you.

*rummaging*.... satin? What color? fresh? or after I make a cock-wrap?

I haven't posed for a drawing or done the drawing but I am a photographer. In the small town I used to live in, I was also the only woman that would capture full nudes. I have photographed and posed for images to be used as reference for several projects at the request of other artists. I enjoy being part of the process immensely, for creating my own vision or as part of someone else's.

YAY! Back on topic!

Is it always "just clinical" for you? (as a photographer? as a model?)
Does that vary with the project?

For me, there is almost always, at least a hint, of "sexuality"... just because of the element of "intimacy" involved.

yes, satin--purple if you can find it.

fresh. let me creamy them up first and then you can have them for your....work.

would you like me to say that LOUDER??

*chuckles* There's a sapphire blue satin cheeky in that drawer somewhere. It'll look marvelous with your skin tone. :cattail:

However, drawing (or painting) requires a different sort of "intensity", the duration of each pose, the study... which can be a bit like "submission".

I think it would be *super* hot to be drawn by a lover, or a potential lover, for the reasons you mention above.

I agree.

Looking back, I am pretty sure that any "cross over" (for me) has been from lover to subject. I don't think a model has ever become a lover. as yet.

Not always, it varies with the project. If it's my vision that I am photographing, I am undoubtedly entwined emotionally with the process and result. As a model for someone else's vision I also feel more than if I'm photographing a model on request.

Lots of Energy

That is an especially, um, potentially intense situation. Laced with "potential energy".:D

Post posing session we were both energized. The tension we both felt created a lot of sexual energy for us and I have a feeling, based on how flushed some of the students looked, they felt it too!

I have photographed women for various projects, and just for fun, though my photographs have never been intended as a finished work. At least not since school.

The process of drawing and the extended poses (even short ones) has always been very intense for me.

(Not to say that the photographic sessions were not erotic) — I am only referring to nude work (overtly sexual or not) vs clothed drawing, painting or photography.

In college, there was only one time when a man and woman posed together nude, and there was no physical contact. Never the less, there was that tension.

I'd love to have the opportunity to draw (or paint) a couple being physically intimate.

once, many years ago, I did draw myself and my wife while we had sex. That was rather difficult!

okay, I'm dying of curiosity to ask this, because I think it could be an intriguing experience to be drawn, but I have this mental picture of what a model "should" look like, and I'm nowhere near that.....what sort of models do artists actually want?
