Have you ever been drawn...

I'd love to have the opportunity to draw (or paint) a couple being physically intimate.

didn't this subject come up before? I think it did, because I remember asking a friend if he would be willing to participate.

okay, I'm dying of curiosity to ask this, because I think it could be an intriguing experience to be drawn, but I have this mental picture of what a model "should" look like, and I'm nowhere near that.....what sort of models do artists actually want?

HAHhahahhahahahahaaaa!

Varies wildly, Honey! (heh heh..see what I did there?)

I am sure that some only want "perfect" model-like models...

Depends on the project or intent and the "artist"

the subject has come up with me before.
I'm not sure what you have asked your friends, though.

yes, I see what you did there. ;)

I asked someone if he would be willing to be drawn while we were....you know.

Go to a gallery or museum... take a look.

I would bet that there are some "artists" that "take what they can get", perhaps they would prefer a different "look" (body size, shape, skin tone, face, hair....), but cannot find, afford to hire such a model?

BTW, you would be ideal for many of the projects I have imagined.* At least, how you look, you may not be able to pose worth a bean ...?

you don't know that. you haven't seen all of me--I only show my best bits here.

while you were fucking?

And he said...?

And you had an artist in mind?

yes, and it's been a while, so i'd want to ask him again, and no.

but it was all hypothetical anyway, for reasons.

Gosh! :eek::eek:

Gosh! :eek::eek:

If there a "bits" that do not "work out" I can work with that. I am not talking photography. No matter. I know what I like.

I like to capture (ideally) a mood more than an exact likeness. I can make a very good likeness, but there are cameras for that sort of of thing. You have not seen my other work, and not very likely to on LIT.

Of course, hypothetical.

"Gosh!"?

what is this I may not be able to pose business?

You may not be able to. Not everyone can.
Not everyone has a good body sense or the ability to hold still. (just a guess, but you seem to be the sort who is constantly in motion...)

Maybe you can?

all hypothetical.

Anyway.... off to bed for me.

Not silly at all.

No one need reply... here or there, with a fox, in an overstuffed box.

Sometimes, I think I am hundred years "too late".

I can envision myself as an artist/inventor at the turn of the previous century.
With a loft and model muse.

I've only been drawn a few times from photos, unless you count a caricature.

Something that happened in high school may have picked up on my exhibitionist side before I knew about it. A complete stranger (female) asked if she could take some black and white photos of me wearing my favorite black velvet dress for a photography class project. She did, and I still treasure those photos. Not long after that I moved, and found out that a male artist friend had drawn my portrait from one of those photos and gave it to my best friend as a memento I suppose. 15 years after that she mailed it to me. I love it.

There is an intense sense of "bondage" and control that can happen.
The model is to hold still of her own will.
This. Yes. This. Would be an awesome experience.

cool! :)

I told my (rather conservative) daughter that I thought it would be an interesting experience to be drawn.

she made a face and said, "not like Titanic!" and I was thinking, "yes like Titanic!":rolleyes::eek:

In college I met a girl who did fantastic drawings of people. I complimented her many times on her work and she asked if she could draw me. At first it was just faces, then body, and finally she asked to draw me nude. I thought it might be uncomfortable but we were friends and it turned out to be such a totally comfortable experience. She kept two drawings and gave me two. I wonder whatever happened to them; I haven't thought about them for years.
