Have you ever been drawn...

Closing in on drawing again (for pleasure), still draw for work (though not quite as much actual drawing as I'd like).

Office upheaval is still an issue.

My husband has sketched me several time; my favorite is of me in the bathtub.

I was drawn once in art class in college (fully-clothed, I hasten to add!).

That works. Nude has it purposes and its "baggage".
Clothed can reflect the subject's personality (we make those choices) and is good to practice materials.

No one would want too.

I imagine that someone, somewhere would.
I have drawn all sorts of models.

My preference is women I find attractive. (not surprising)
There is a place for everyone.

a few examples...very briefly

I emailed a picture of myself to SSB's hubby and he drew me from that. Also used my face in a few of his other drawings.

That can be a fun experience. However it does lack the intimacy of standing (laying, sitting..) exposed before someone who is studying you very closely.;)

Perhaps when the COVID has been properly addressed, I can find and arrange for live drawing again.

I really miss that process and exercise (of eye, mind and hand)

to be drawn?
Ever see "Titanic"? ("draw me like one of your French girls")
There is something intensely erotic about being drawn (or painted) — being studied, intensely, passionately. Not the detached, analytical, mechanical "study" drawing, but one of inspiration and desire.

There is something intensely erotic about creating that sort of drawing (painting) as well.

Many of my own drawings tend toward the more academic end of the spectrum, but I always try to keep some sort of empathy, at least, for the model, even if I am not "attracted".

I've been drawn before, in college. I had a good friend that was taking a drawing class and I did some modeling for figure drawings (nothing nude ;) ). She also had me do some photography shots for another project. It took me way out of my comfort zone, but I enjoyed the experience and the process.

Even non-nude posing took you out of your comfort zone?

Good that you enjoyed it. :)

The dynamic of artist/model is different every time— As strangers, as good friends. Of opposite sex or same gender... and taking into account sexual preference... and environment and type of posing (artist lead or model lead... academic/practice vs goal oriented) etc.

Yes I was very shy at that point in time! It felt awkward being watched so intently, but the longer we went, the more fun it became. I loved seeing the progress as she went.

Yes.
Twice.
One in comic strip form by a friend in my profession who said I was his “muse.” The other by someone who loves me.

A single comic strip? Like 4 panels? or One...or as a series?
Or do you mean the style?
What is your profession? Being a muse is a powerful thing.

Lovely to have someone who loves you.
Did you keep the drawing?

Understood.
Sitting for a drawing/painting can be rather intense (physically and emotionally)

I was chosen to pose for a quick sketch class in school. I would really love to have someone paint or draw me, erotically or otherwise. The feeling of vulnerability but streangth, the feeling of objectification yet admiration. It would be a thrill indeed.

I was a model for life drawing classes at the local college many years ago before i got married, hold different poses for short and longer periods, nude and semi nude, .it was fun but not easy being totally still.

Perhaps you'll find the opportunity sometime. Obviously, the pandemic limits your possibilities.

It was. It was empowering :)

I agree.

No, it isn't easy — for many reasons. The best models have that core strength (not necessarily "muscular") and even more important — a body awareness — some sense of visualization.

No but I would love to.

My mom has when she was young. I still have the painting. :)

Once a characature(so). I have, however, commissioned portraits of my two nieces. Their mother cried when we gave them to she and her husband. Captured the girls as one was leaving college and the other as a sophomore. Expensive and some of the best money we ever spent.
