RE posted my story about a life drawing session (which had been posted as an Illustrated story on LIT...years ago)

I am challenging myself to get back to drawing from life, though nude life drawing is further off. Back to sketchbooking at the café.

failed! Had sketchbook, but also had laptop and did actual work until meter was about to expire. :rolleyes:

Got up a bit earlier. The, of course, I get phone call — That woman forgot something... so rush around, walk the loitering dog... get her item, pick up her photos... but still got a couple sketches in at cafe. Felt a bit rusty, and not many tasty victims near...

She'd be better with a darker implement — softer/richer pencil or paint. the contrast...her hair is quite dark, not quite black...and her top is black. Her skin is pale, though not really "remarkably" so (even if I just remarked).

The other sketch, was the back of a man, a bit further away.
Not many folk here, really. I could sit elsewhere, but I do prefer the "gunfighter" seat, at the end of the room, facing in. (can't browse LIT, discretely in other seats)


(funny, I posted this in another thread. doh! Not that it matters really)
 
I have now been drawn/painted/photographed in some extremely compromising positions. It was part of my bucket list very fulfilling experience.
Seriously I recommend it if you ever want to feel truly beautiful within yourself let someone you trust study your naked form and do the best they can to put it into a piece of art.
(Even if it turns out less than ideal the experience is worth it :D)
 
Drawn? Maybe.
Quartered? No.
Hung...well...a little personal but...

With the right artist, the experience can be very memorable.

Glad your experiences were.

Yours is still the best avatar ever, Throbbs. I think you should draw a Pmann stick man with a proper, veiny dick.
 
I have a very long time ago along with my husband and I later had it made into a painting as a gift.
