Have you ever been drawn...

Ah! Thread resurrection and I don't recall this one from earlier. But in answer to the OPQ.

Yes, while clothed four different times. Twice as cartoons, once as a pencil sketch and once for a some trade exhibit dealing with equipment I used in my line of work. I've no ideal where any of them are now and it was quite a while ago.

any further explanation?
at what ages?

As cartoons? Like caricatures at a fair or them park? or for comic panel/strip/book?
Pencil sketch? for a friend practicing...? was the sketch simply a "study" or for some specific use?
For "trade exhibit dealing with equipment" as an illustration demonstrating the equipment in use?

I have done all of those.

lol... I had a friend I worked with who'd majored in art but went into another line of work. He did a cartoon portrait for a Christmas present. I was maybe thirty. Someone else did a cartoon of a bunch of us from work.

Pencil sketch was done by my ex while she was taking an art class.

Trade exhibit was of apparel and equipment in use.

Cool. Thanks.

The only time I can recall being drawn was a painting a buddy of mine did in high school. I used to wear a red white and blue bucket hat, and the painting showed it on my head with the top opened as if on a hinge, revealing a 3 ring circus in my brain. I rather liked it.

That's just like "Jack's French girls"! lol

(had to look up "bucket hat" — like a "fisherman's hat" or a flowerpot cozy)

That sounds awesome! What a neat thing to have!

I am curious to know how you might draw me. :)

Honey123 used to draw stick figure characturers of people she befriended on Lit. she drew me one. bow tie, martin & tux coat. the stick figure arms and legs weren’t straight lines, but were jagged. she did that to let folks know i was shaken, not stirred. it’s not the kind of drawing you’re talking about, but being the object of Honey’s talent was sexy as hell. so, there’s that.

I just posted (to my "gallery" thread) a few life drawings from a private session from years back.

It was a good mix of "professional" and "sexual"
(no money exchanged, but was mostly "serious" drawing, with lot of tension)

The model was a coworker (designer too) and knew "the ropes" (no literal ropes involved ;) ) and had a good body awareness (not all designers/artists are good models)

I’ve been drawn. When I was in university I modelled for life drawing classes for a while. I sort of ummed and ahhed about it because I didn’t think I had the body for it, but I was a struggling student and I’d taken the class so knew what it would be like.

It was not an erotic experience, it was just physically uncomfortable sometimes and good for stilling the mind. I would sometimes wonder what people were drawing at a particular point depending on their facial expressions.

You get a wide range of reactions from those drawing, some have never seen another naked person, or at least not really LOOKED. These days, I suppose that students are far more visually experienced.:)

A lit friend drew me from a pic I sent him. He did an amazing job.

I have never been drawn. Reading through the posts below it seems it is something I certainly should put high on my bucket list!

I'd love to start drawing again (it's probably been more than a year since I last did so).

That's kinda like phone sex vs. physical sex — good when you are able to do the real deal. maybe someday.

Hope you find or create the opportunity.
