Yeah, I've had a couple of friends mess around and draw sketches when they were bored in lectures.

generally that is "flattering"...at least you were more interesting than paying attention.

Or an excuse to stare at you.

It's kinda funny/sad (pathetic?) — back in Junior High I was such a weirdo (I KNOW! whoda thunk!) I was nearly Napoleon Dynamite — I had crushes on girls, but was not even close to swavvay . I painted portraits ("...It took me like three hours to finish the shading on your upper lip.")

One of those paintings might still be around, the girl's parents framed it! (to her great embarrassment). I still have contact (very loose), but I think I will just let it go. The 2nd, I feel quite sure, was destroyed. She was even more embarrassed by my even liking her.

oh well, helped me on my way to the weirdo that I am.
