Have you ever been drawn...

<<<====== this is what I was referring to last night, as well as my profile.
I can't draw for shit...but I like playing stuff with effects.

THROBBS, are you mostly pencil or pen and ink?

I am not a big fan of "effects" or "filters" on photos to make like drawings (paintings).

Most of my erotic work is in pencil, followed by pen. That is to say followed by in quantity. I typically will use one or the other and only rarely will I ink a pencil drawing. The reason I use pencil for the most part (for erotic work), is that it is fast, easy to stash away if there are "intruders" and it is easy. Most of my erotic work is just for giggles — no pressure (well some "pressure";) ), unlike real world assignments.

When I do erotic work in pen, I work in a similar fashion to the pencil stuff, but it tends to be more "balls out"...no fussing, there's no erasing and often fun results, which can be distorted in interesting ways.

Occasionally I will do watercolors...or more infrequently — acrylics.

Sometimes I will go back in and draw, and/or color in photoshop. I have to scan the drawings in order to post, so they become digitized as a matter of course.

hahahahhahaha! don't ask him questions! You'll never shut him up!

probably more exotic than erotic, eh?

Unless it was hentai.;)

It was suppose to be life like. He even drew a couple pieces of gray hair lol.. ass.

When my roommate isn't overwhelmed with requests, I'd like to see if he'd do a drawing for me. Maybe from a boudoir I did.

I wouldn't have asked if I didn't want a thorough answer ;)
And, yes, I imagine, as you are an artist, you wouldn't approve of effects/filters/etc, however, those of us whose artistic medium has little to do with pen, paint, or paper... well, we make do with what we've got...lol

grey ass hairs!? oh my. ;)

Just being an ass, myself.:D

Would asking your roommate to do that change your relationship?

oh, I get why it's done.:)

I suppose it is a bit like "auto-tune" in the music industry.

I'm an illustrator.;)

Is that similar to the relationship between a square and a rhombus?

All illustrators are artists, but not all artists are illustrators?

:D

All illustrators are not (necessarily) artists.

All visual artists are illustrators.

As far as I am concerned: to be an "Artist" requires some level of mastery.
to be an illustrator does not require mastery.

Any desire to be drawn?

"too fair" is a cop out.
one can adjust the lighting.
I have,on occasion been challenged drawing models who were extremely dark, but, like any subject — where there is the will, there is the way. (a bit of knowledge helps too).

tech school sounds like it was "interesting".

I'd have to ask "What for?" If someone expressed interest in drawing me, I probably wouldn't mind, but I see no point in desiring to be drawn, or sculpted etc. If I had family to pass it along to, then maybe yes, I could see a desire to be drawn, but I'm the end of the line. So... what for?

Even at 13 years of age, I could tell a cop-out when I heard it. but thanks for confirming it. I agree, any good artist rises to the challenge.

Very. :|

I think i was very much like you before i had be drawn. I didn,t desire it, it wasn,t anything i thought about truthfully, but after having the experience of being drawn, and realising how sensual it was, i certainly would consider it again with someone i trusted ( i.e non - creepy :D )

I agree with what has been said , when i was at college and i had to attend life classes we had to draw a number of models , they were all shapes, all sizes, light to dark skinned and each model was interpreted in different ways by the artists drawing them. Some pictures were amazing ..some not so amazing (mine..i am not the best artist ) but that wasn,t down to the model but the artist.

All i will say is, if the chance arose again for you...i would give it a go , even just to see what the experience is like .

nice.
And stopped at just the eyes because... "you had only just met"? :)

is "wet" a typo for "we"
or a Freudian slip?:D

haha! :)

maybe he had actually been just drawing my tits, but pulled the old areola/iris switcheroo when I noticed what he was doing... ;)

I've been caught drawing a nudie pic and quickly had to change it into Garfield before. ;) Happens a lot in high school art classes.

No i never have but always wanted to volunteer as nude model for art classes.

There are schools that even PAY:eek: for models.

It isn't typically "good" pay, and it isn't really as easy as "just standing around". But you probably guessed that. :)

Yes i guess it's more than just standing there but ok with that.
as far as pay goes I would do it for free lol
being in a smaller town there has been no call for it :(
