Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?

Willow from Buffy and Fred from Angel.

I like brainy chicks, what can I say?

Oz: "Do you have problems with the fact I'm a werewolf?"

Willow: "No. I'm not much fun to be around three days of the month either."

Interesting question. Not really; I might be attracted to an actress or a character, but I don't get crushes on them.

But I do have a sort of a crush on a generalized type of character; the sci-fi heroine.

They're beautiful; most heroines are, but their beauty tends to be secondary to their intellect, courage, and compassion.

They are strong and rational, yet very feminine.

They are sexually adventurous.

They are inexplicably attracted to geeks.

Perfect.

I have a silly habit of having these little crushes on fictional, larger-than-life, ridiculous characters. I expect I'm probably not the only one. Anybody else have this?

My fictional character crushes include:

Lestat de Lioncourt
Johji (George) Koizumi (from the manga Paradise Kiss)

I've had many in my time, but those two are ones which I still have crushes on *paperbag on head*.

The only one that I can think of off the top of my head from a book would be from when I was a kid. I'm not positive about the name of the book, but I think it was Remember Me To Harold Square. I had the biggest crush on the protagonist, Kendra.

When it comes to TV & movies, there are too many to count. Charlie on "West Wing". Ally McBeal. Ally McBeal's roommate. Most of the characters that Sandra Bullock has played.

Sandra Bullock as Sarah something in the movie Forces of Nature (Romantic-ish Comedy-ish w Ben Affleck).

OH MY GOD...I saw Troy last night...

Archilles...played by Brad Pitt

I am still reeling from it...

I feel compelled also to mention:

David Bowie as The Goblin King from Labyrinth
Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane from Sleepy Hollow
Sean Bean as Boromir from LOTR
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine from X-Men (with hon. mention to Van Helsing)
Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter (I know, it's dirty and wrong, but we just saw Prisoner of Azkaban yesterday and damn, he's a cutie!)

who still hasn't seen Troy! Augh!

Oh, my..you don't know what you are missing...Brad's ass is bootylicious!!!

- Arwen Undomiel from Lord Of The Rings (a hot sexy elf that would give up her immortality for you? Damn !)

- Mystique from X-Men (for some reason even unknown to me)

- very few, but some Anime characters (I remember one chick from 'Hellsing')

Snoopy, that's all I can think of right now

I used to hate Harry Potter movies with all my heart and soul. I was, however, obligated to take the kid to see them, which usually entailed an $8 nap for yours truly. Then it came to me around the third time that we were seeing the first movie. Just pretend that it's the magical adventures of young John Lennon. Now I rather like the films.

I'd always had a crush on an oriental woman with an English accent. Until now, I'd though her a fictional character..........Hiya Marsipanne :) :)

I had a crush on Jamie of "Mad About You". I could have put up with her neurosis and her mother and her sister. Her sister I wanted to bang.

Amen.

And he'll be legal in July...

Dan Radcliffe is totally crush-worthy. I saw an interview with him and he was so adult and mature. I was pleasantly surprised.

Oriental woman with English accent--this seems to be very particular. Nonetheless, some people seem to have a penchant for this. I know plenty, plenty, plenty of Chinese gals with English accents. I just think there are very few going around literotica forums.

Do I fantasize about fictional characters? Thank god or whomever my boyfriend is so understanding. I had a crush on Lazarus Long (Heinlein novel character) when I was younger. and I am not in any way immune to Legolas or Aragorn (pref. together). I love Duo and Heero from Gundam Wing, and I'm debating going into crush-status over Eliza Dushku...it's nice to know that I'm amongst such fine company.

When I saw the subject heading, I started to laugh though. A few years ago my boyfriend and I discovered by accident that I like to role-play during sex, not just while we played D&D or whatever. From there we progressed to him pretending to be some of the characters from the games that I fantasized over. For anyone who has an impulse to try sex games that hasn't already acted on it--do it, do it please. An element of playful escapism can be so nice at the end of the day.

I've had one Wesley from the Princess Bride, I thought he was so cute

Edited: I also had a crush on a guy named Diesel who was a wrestler in the WWE. then I saw the guy behind him and I fell even more...

When I was in late pre-teens to about thirteen I was madly in lust for the "Dragon Lady" in "Terry and the Pirates."

This was in the late Thirty's/early forty's.

edited for spelling

Crushes on fictional characters ... that's the story of my life. My first big childhood crush was Disney's Robin Hood, who was not only fictional but foxy-furry too.

I think that I have had more crushes on fictional / animated characters than on real-life people.

A short list:
Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean
Special Agent Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks
Brisco Couty Jr. from the Adventures of
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode I only)
Chernabog from Disney's Fantasia
Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles
(the above two, what can I say, it's a wing thing)
Legolas from LOTR
Nightcrawler from X-Men (comics; his swashbucklery version)

I agree with you about Jack Sparrow
and Legolas but was it the character or thet the actors were sooo hot?

I fell in love with Rincewind from the discworld books. Maybe I'm just a sucker for the lame ducks in this world.

I felt the heart strings go In frankenstein. I felt so sorry for the monster!!

For me, it's mostly about the characters. I mean, I'm not saying I'd kick Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp out of bed for eating crackers, but it's the characters more than the real-life actors that fascinate me more.

Samantha Stevens

From Bewitched.

The twins from the old SciFi show 'Quark" Can't remember their names now.

And of course Wicked Wanda from the old Penthouse magazine, and her blonde sidekick. Again the name escapes me.

I had a crush on Ian Nottingham (Witchblade) Both the good and bad version of Ian. I thought he was so hot.

I also had a crush on Julian Bashir (DS9)
Nick (Presidio Med) played by Oded Fehr. Any character played by Oded Fehr

Pacey Witter

Fox Moulder

to name two off the top of my head. I prefer the characters they play to the actors lots of times. David Decovney as himself does *nothing* for me. I *love, love love* Fox. What can I say?:D
