Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?

Warren in the Sword of Truth series, by Terry Goodkind. I HATE what happens to him!

When I was only a boy of five years, my heart was stricken and I was wholly enamored with....

Penelope Pitstop.

When I first read the title of the thread, I skipped over it thinking it was cartoon characters

When I was a teen... I had the BIGGEST crush on a guy from PlayGirl mag. (I didn't admit that), but his name was Kurt and he was a pizza guy. I'll let you guess what he had in the box :p

Mel Gibson... God that guy gets me hot LOL It doesn't matter what role he plays, I always end up falling in love... MMM

Tim Finn, lead singer of Split Enz if anyone knows them... (still drool over him!!) The poor bastard knew me by name because I used to jump up on stage at every concert heheee

My BIGGEST crush was on Freddie Mercury. I have a teeth fetish and his mouth.... OMG I wanted him!!! LOL

I'll be dating myself here,

but Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island

Mary Jane Watson.

(I still like to be called "Tiger" by redheads...)

and it was really the actress, not the character (which opens up a whole 'nother thread, save it for later) but I'll mention it since it was one of my first...

Marcia Brady.

'Rei' from Mars. If any of you have read 'The Artist's Wolf' series, there are lot of similarities between that and Mars. Rei is like a delinquent version of Gabriel. Gabriel's kinda delinquent but Rei is CRAZY. I never expected to find so many...death threats/mutilation threats in Mars manga. I mean, it's teen girl romance manga! Every book there's a 'I'll gouge your eyes out' or 'I'll cut off your nose' or 'I'll break your fingers'. Not just from Rei, but from other people too. So many delinquents/ ax murderer types in Mars. Rei's a good guy, just still post-traumatic after the suicide of his identical twin (would be creeped out, seeing somebody looking identical to you lying dead on the ground..)

My list

Kevin Arnold - The wonder years. I just loved that show as I grew up. Dad and I watched it every week together.

Cpt. Horatio Hornblower - Ok, it might have something to do with Ioan Gruffudd's gorgeous looks, but seriously, the character was such a dream guy... *sigh*

Pacey Witter - I love cheeky guys.

Jesse Katsopolis - Cute, rock & roll, and a softie inside. :)

Ponyboy Curtis - The Outsiders. I LOVED that book and the character is one of my favourites.

Gilbert Blyte & Anne Shirley - More Anne than Gilbert really. He was a bit too boring. She was great!

And Sodapop...and Dallas...and poor, poor Johnny... I loved that book, too! ;) And the older brother in Rumble Fish...liked him, too.

This list could go on and on and on and on for me...

Thank you for the reminder, Lovepotion69!

Yui ^_^

Oh my yes, I have had my fair share of crushes on fictional characters. Especially in Anime! I can't help it, those Anime men are so sexy I drool over them day and night sometimes. Is that wrong? I think I might have a problem...

ME TOO. Manga more, because artists draw them in very cool/sexy poses. They're so pretty.. mangaka really know how to strike those notes when it comes to coolness. I think Tarantino got a lot of his coolness striking technique from manga.
