I know... I agree FurryFury, but I think it has to do with how the media uses alternative lifestyles to perk ears and turn eyes as a freakshow, both lifestyles...
Only probably makes it harder because they feed into the propganda... If these people where shown in regualr life and positive maybe it would do more to gaining acceptance with society. If reguar people could see the similarities between themselves and people who are diffrent...

If you were really a lesbian, thinking you were going on the first lesbian dating show, then found out the lead didn't "know" if she wanted a girl or a boy and was "a bisexual," wouldn't you leave if you had any self respect at all? Wouldn't you be mad as hell?

I was a idealistic youngster, I used to be unapologetic and "flamboyant". I have tried the "whole change the world" thing, and I got beaten... physically, emotionally and mostly I lost myself in the end, So now I'd rather life without violence and hated.

It is sad for me, to see the media doing some of the same things with the second alternative lifestyle I found interest in, I don't want people on a witch hunt for me again...

Duplicate posts aside, I would say that poly falls under the queer umbrella, but not under the kink umbrella. I know some poly groups who are kinky as all hell, and I know some who are very vanilla. Being poly does not automatically put you under kinky, but it is definitely non-mainstream, so I'd call it queer.

Also, ponyplay is definitely BDSM.

Poly is more having to do with the GLBT alternative lifestyle, but, I have suggested to R, I think we should have a third... a girl, for both BDSM, (as a sub/switch for me) and for him (for whatever he wants, mostly for me) So I think that's why I say I think (there's at least some) others into BDSM that are also into poly.
