Hey y'all, does anyone know which of the tow resorts (Hedonism II or III) is better? We've heard really good and bad things about both... has anyone been? Let us know!

Hedonism caters to a more mature swinging and non swinging crowd.... Hed 2 a younger set. Both are a blast no matter the level of swing you are comfortable with.If any at all. A really fun option closer to home is Nawlins in November....www.neworleansinnovember.com
if you are interested in swinging or just a really fun open sexual environment. Just FYI.

Thanks! We're a 20's couple interested in exploring that side of our relationship, and playing the whole thing by ear. We don't exactly know how far we'd go right now, but we'd like the option to be available. Thanks for the New Orleans tip!

Wish I could help you both out. I myself have never been to either. But, I have heard almost all postive things about hedonism III. It is something i would love to go to if i could find the right companion. are u going with anyone or just venturing out looking for a little fun? Perhaps you need any extra someone to go with? :) Anyways, feel free to instant message me to chat and ill be sure to let you know what ive heard. ill keep my ears open for you.

been to both II and III in case if you are wondering yes there used to be a I which is now II

II is located in Negril which is not quite as classy as Ocho Rious II has also just had some extensive updating. If you are looking for sex II is for you If you are really a naturalist II is for you if you like to start the party at 5am and again at 11am and again at 4pm and again at 9pm and again at 2am then Hedo II is for you.

III is nice and it is new it has many different qualities than II it is more for a couple with the same themes as the singles clubs such as II. III is more an upper class place with better food and amenities and stricter rules (II has almost no rules even the rules are not used) there is still nude stuff but it is a more designated thing to an area. Do not think it is lame it is still an all out party but with some respect.

II is the animal house
III is where the wealthy go to pretend they are animals

Oh what ever you do! DO NOT go when there is a major club going unless you book through the club trust me on this you will feel left out big time and pay more for less.
Like Lifestyles. Denny's, Playboy,.....

Visit these links and really consider buying the naked truth about Hedo book You can feel free to PM if you like Hedo is my second home 2 to 3 times a year! Yeah mon! Irie.
Go to denny page click on wet wild and wicked under group information click on Hedo II or II main page for direct links to some good advice the other stuff is fun to read for hours of what people did there. Yea some place there is a Phildo in that mess.

Phildo is my Hedo II name guarentee the boys and girls know me!

http://www.dennyp.com/

This is a general hedo link
http://www.jamaicans.com/index.htm

And Aol has a hedo holic page that has about 300 linked pages with pictures and stories and advice just do a quick search it always comes up but is not always available thanks to the Aholes

Another thought for a young couple for like a honey moon you can not beat the couples resorts for exclusive style, prestiege, food, class. Based on the same idea as hedo it is just 4 notches up on the romance scale with no singles allowed and 5 times more class at the same price. Couples is also a super club one located next to hedo in negril and one next to the hedo in Ocho Rious (Wich is better in my opinion)

WOW! So much information!! THANK YOU! That's exactly the kind of info we're looking for - from soneone who really knows! THANKS!

Your more than welcome!

Here is that frigging Aol link it is almost always off line thanks to AoL
http://members.aol.com/hedolistic/index.html

This one works and will direct you to much more than Hedo stuff.

http://biffsbunch.com/biff.cgi/LinkList/NudistLinks

Actually though if I was to book in on a theme week I would go with lifestyles or Deny's, Biffs bunch is a lot of fun but not quite the same.
Some advice 1 week is a good thing you will not be happy leaving in four days. Over 2 weeks is dangerous you might not ever return. Month stays are generally fun because you can jump from resort to resort. If you are interested I can tell you how. Basically Issa the owner of superclubs (not Couples) but works with couples closely promotes the jumping from resort to resort if you ask. Many times I like to go to Hedo II then across the street is Grand lido which breaks the circus for a day or two. Fly on over to Hedo III for a night or two do some shoping in Ocho then buzz back to Negril, Breezes are cool too but not quite as extravagant. Still in the family though. And Like I say Couples is fun but it is really more lovers.

What ever you do though do not book Sandals or club med, it is a waste of money! Fake drinks and cheap furniture! With a saute' of crap! And no fun allowed!

And the all important question. Ok too many of those but "YES!" you want to take air express not the bus trust me it is worth every cent.

And if your clothes can't fit in a cary on. You packed too much! (seriously)Keep in mind everything is cheap on the island except the resort owned gift areas. Be careful buying gifts as Jamaican customs think nothing of taking it from you. Especially shells and lighters. And for God's sake do not bring Ganga home! Smoke all you want, Be very careful it is slow but hits hard. I was stoned for 14 hours on 1/2 a J (small puffs then do more if needed). Any bar tender can help you out to aquire it or beach comber "In the resort only". May I say tell them you want it rolled it costs more but fuck it is worth it figure a 20 and a us cigarette to have it rolled. That will last two guys almost two weeks. I shit you not!

Really you can get away with bringing nothing at all, hell they provide everything. Except TV just ask! it is not always given freely remeber everything is included. And if the sun don't shine for a complete day you get a complimentary day free, again you need to know to ask. same as if something goes wrong ...

And be carefull bring a calling card it averages about $70. for ten minutes to call the usa other wise. That rate changes daily if you use an island service. AT&T cards work just like in the US. Cell phones do work only if you set up before hand other wise it takes a week.

If you read what I sent you you will know 90% of what to expect but you can ask me what they will not tell you. Some things are never mentioned publically it is a kind of hedo oath what happens at hedo stays at hedo.

Again, Phildo, Thanks! What a wealth of information you've given us! I've gone ahead and purchased the book you suggested. Is desire the same sort of resort? Given that it is just for couples, is it also nude/swinging oriented? Any other suggestions for closer to home (like in the U.S?)

Thanks for all your help!

:)

Awsome thread!! We have been wanting to plan a trip to Hedo and were wondering the same questions.

Thanks for all the info....

Your very welcome!

"desire" is a resort style club in mexico. In no way should it be compared to Hedo or Superclubs.

First off Jamaica is completely different than Mex.

secondly the majority of people who frequent such clubs would tell you HedoII is where the fun is.

nevermind numbers Hedo offers way more for the price. And the fun don't stop till you say so. Bar don't close until you say so. sex well sex is sex no matter where you are, just more people go to hedo with some sort of sex on the mind. ( I do not recomend single males to go thinking they are going to get laid) They probably will but it is not definate. Most swingers have respective couples persons they know from past visits or from online.

The nude cruise and pickled parrot is a must do be careful jumping though it is higher than it looks and many are hurt! Naked skin diving with sharks was quite the rush! It is commonly practiced to wear something while eating! Other than that no much clothing being worn anyplace. Premium drinks and no tipping, well if you do be quiet about it.

From the trapeze to parasail to ice-skating to wet clothes, games theme parties, disco, piano bar, to "Be wicked for the week" Man you really gotta want to see Mexico to choose anyplace but hedoII. I have a place in the Turks but I still make it to hedoII once twice a year.

Hedo is like going to the porn shop seeing the box and picking the cheap one. Getting home and wishing you would have just bought the real thing.

I promise Hedo is the right choice. You can opt for cheap rooms you never see the room any way. If you want to be romantic pick a Lido club or Couples. But to party Hedo is it.

Caution you will need time to recoup this is not a relaxing vacation. 1 week at hedo takes about 4 days to recover. You will not be bored and sign up first thing for any major activities you want to do like horses sightseeing cruise river rafts. It books up fast! And worth doing all of it just not in one trip.

Remember 2am the nude hot tub do not miss it! single or married it is the best part!

Well, again, we have to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.... you are a fountain of knowledge. Here's our next really big question - are younger couples (low twenties) out of place there? It seems like mostly middle-aged (forty-ish) couples go there. I guess the question being - are there more couples in our age range? Not the we wouldn't love to meet a whole bunh of people from any age, race, or walk of life - but we'd also like it if we weren't the ONLY young couple at the resort.

Thanks for all your help!

Anyone else been there?

Want to take my wife there for our second honeymoon. Want to see what it is first.

Do people really have sex out in the open, or is it a bedroom thing? I don't know what to believe yet and I'm out of time to checkout the other sites today...maybe next week.

We took Phildo's advice and bought the book "The Naked Truth About Hedonism II" - and it's GREAT. It answers that question and a lot of other ones, you'll feel like you've already been there once after you read it. Best advice ever - buy that book! :)

I see that Hedonism resorts are owned by SuperClubs. They're not the ones that own Sandals, are they? Do they allow same-sex couples at Hedonism? (They are not allowed at Sandals is why I ask.) They never answer that question in the FAQ!

Based on what I've read I don't think that would be a problem at all - though I don't know for sure

Tough question you can find out a good degree of who is going from some of the forums like in Denny Ps page. It really depends on the weeks. You might have noticed the winter months are more expensive. This really slows down many of the younger couples because of price. Yes I have seen 18 year olds there but in general upper late twenties to upper thirties is a safe bet. forty and fifties is also common. Sixties and seventies and eighties are not the majority but are welcome amount and frequent the resort. Sorry most young couples just can not afford it, so they go to Disney and end up paying almost as much and eat carnival food with a talking mouse.
You will not be alone. There are always some couples in each age group. Obviously I can't answer how many, it would be safe to say between 12 -20+ Thinking what you dont socialize with older people? LOL I know what you mean.
I have been when it is all teenagers/young twenties that is no fun either as I like to use the boats Trapeze and stuff, Older people do not water ski as often so I do as I please then go get drunk with the lazy crowd. Yes it is fun to have youngins to play with but they are always there. It is not a little resort as to the number of people that come and go in a weeks time. Not every one books for a week most common is 4 days. Yuck that is too short!

No one asked the common question. Yes there are some nice hotties there but for the most part average to fair is the common body type. Hotties are more common on theme weeks. So is the single men ratio, I prefer to go on quiet weeks LOL they are tough enough!
Do people really have sex out in the open, or is it a bedroom thing? I don't know what to believe yet and I'm out of time to checkout the other sites today...maybe next week.
Ha ha ha ha ha! That is funny! LOL My God Umm Lets see One of the 'resort games' is blind mans bluff "naked" pass the ice cube "naked" find an oposite sex not your spouse and body paint yes "naked". Too many to list.

Ok officially the answer is NO! Ha ha ha ha ha! Hmm, trying to think if I have never saw shit I have seen everything you can think of. Sometimes it is a wonderfull display from a rooms picture window othertimes it is at the bar/ on the patio/ onthe beach/ at dinner/ on stage/ in the pool/ hotub/ on the cruise/ skiny diving, I have seen swapping to you name it. But the answer is still NO it don't happen. he he take that for what you want. Oh I forgot on the Piano durring a sing along. It is very common as if you request a song to sing and you suck you strip or more! Remember this is Jamaica not the US Rules are not the same.

This sounds like the best place on earth! Thank you for the information!!
Depends if you want romance and fun then Couples is the best place on earth. Other wise Yes Note; Couples is for Couples only

I see that Hedonism resorts are owned by SuperClubs. They're not the ones that own Sandals, are they? Do they allow same-sex couples at Hedonism?

Etoile, First let me say I think you are a beautiful girl. I loved your pictures.
Please let me YELL this "No Sandals is not a super club!" Sandals is an all inclusive club that is it, nothing more. And certainly nothing suggestive as far as sex goes.

You can check the links above to superclubs and the many resorts they own, Couples is a super club but both Couples resorts are owned separately from "Superclubs"

There are I think 2 superclubs which allow children there is no nudity at those clubs.

Your question Yes gays are welcome at Hedo In fact the last trip I met two females actually four that were together somehow. We had the most fun together. Too bad the wife couldn't make it, no wonder er' but yes most of the superclub resorts allow gay couples, most do not allow extreme sexual content in public, at all. Hedo II does not seem to have a problem with it. Obviously 2 women contact is much more accepted (almost prompted by the resort) than 2 men doing something in daylight public areas.

Chuckling My brother spent an evening with a um you know kinda girl girl, when her friend found out it took many drinks and other stuff to calm her down. Hey lots of things happen in Jamaica. :D

im so jealous.. the price per night is more than i make in a week

My sweet heart, you are right it can be expensive! but think about it.
Commonly it runs me about $4,000. USD for 1 week sunday to sunday (OK I don't want a garden room.) That is for two people, because if you book single you get an assigned friend. No thanks! Naturally the longer you stay the cheaper it gets. One week goes fast but it is not safe to stay longer. You will forget how to function as Island time is different.

That includes Champagne flight Drinks on the flight. airpot Limo which is a mini van. I pay for the flight it is like another $125. It is your room food and all drinks 24/7 plus all amenities. There is a slight fee for some of the non resort things. Of course you buy the crap you bring home.

figure $200 for a flight with bus and about $257. for each day. What is a good meal cost? X3 or more
what is Hotel cost?
What do premium drinks cost? and yes I have ordered 20 at one time just to see what they taste like, they are not skimpy on boose. ( some items are just not allowed to be sold in Jamaica )
what about renting or paying for the amenities take a look it is incredible what they offer for fun stuff to do? Plus instructors redily available to teach you how to use things.
Now place this on an island?
Now add a whole bunch of like minded naked people?
Now add great activity directors to ensure fun?
Now give a guarentee it will be sunny for atleast part of every day?
Now take away all the rules other than vandalism or rape!

Did I mention a baby sitter to ensure nothing fatal happens! Unless your in your room, the workes keep a good eye on things not to be nosey they have seen it all before it is to ensure stoned people or real drunks do not die. That could really hinder to business, so it is in their best intrest to keep you safe.

I don't know it just seems cheap compared to one night at the strip club and getting nothing. What does it cost for a dance? (like I don't know) Give me a call hun, I am sure we can work out some kind of payment plan. Thinking was that one week or two?

Thanks again! We are COMPLETELY open and interested in talking to couples older than us! We just wanted to make sure we wouldn't be one of THREE couples our age there. As far as the hotties thing goes (now this is just a generalization) "Hotties" seem to be less open, less care free, and more concerned with how they look than the "average to fair" crowd. So franky - we could both do without the hotties, but they make for nice decor, and yes there are exceptions.

Thank you again Phildo!!

You are sincerly welcome;

My thanks for the nice thanks, you are welcome. Like it is not a pleasure to share some great information like Hedo stuff. Thank you all for the questions.

well you said its not very good to stay more than a week, and just what kinda payment plan are we talking about
