Here in Missourah...

No that's not what I meant. I meant exactly what I said. It's been covered by the media in CA. It didn't have any thing to do with racism. Reporting the truth occurring in minority neighborhoods isn't racism, DeluxA-hole.

Drifting and street racing is a rich kid's game, son. I'm sure it happens in "minority neighborhoods" too but not nearly as much.

You are totally fucked up on that subject, totally. It goes on almost nightly in the places I mentioned.

Here's an example:

No it isn't. If you knew anyone that knew anything about cars instead of getting your information from those idiotic fast and Furious movies you would probably know something about racing. You obviously don't. Going fast is not that expensive. You can go fast for less than the cost of your KIA lease. You can build an SRT neon with junkyard parts, for about a third of that.

...and that assumes that you're actually buying your own parts and not stealing them. You do know that kids have been known to steal parts, right?

There's a reason that Acura Integras were referred to as delivery boxes. There's also a reason that Acura stopped badging GSRs as GSRs. Insurance was going through the roof because they were being selectively stolen.

It was a stupid thing to do though because all you have to do is a look for the car with the isn't badge in any way and that's a GSR. The GSR wheels give it away as well.

It takes nothing but a pipe to go poser and hang around cars. You should know all about being a poser, "son," you just didn't do it with cars.

Not yo mention the obvious which is that you get more heavy-handed policing in yonuer zip codes.

Yes it does.

First you street race, then later you get killed by a drunk driver, while your friends go off to fight in Vietnam. And Harrison Ford goes off to Star Wars.

Nuh, Uhhh!

What a dummy.

You've always had the idiotic idea that proximity conveys expertise. "I live near such and such, so therefore I'm in expert on everything that occurs in my geographic region!" even on things that you don't read about (which covers a lot of territory) don't know anything about, and don't have any experience with.

Cleaned it up some.

They chortle about how those that don't share their appreciation for the yoke of tyranny and the nattering of the nanny state will ALL DIE.

28% of Covid19 fatalities are black. The black community is not renowned for their adherence to the dictates of authorities. Down to the smallest rebellions. Nightly, in black neighborhoods I am dodging jay-walkers that barely look up as they cross where and when they please.

The gatherings I see in Hispanic neighborhoods look like cautionary examples of putting the racial in social distancing.

It's almost like they don't actually care about the minorities their team claims ownership of.

The news out of New York this morning is that testing
has revealed the virus to be a lot more prevalent then
currently thought, which will subsequently be reflected
positively when it comes to the dreaded mortality rate.
Of course, it doesn't mean that the dead will be Lazarus,
but it will put the government overreach into proper perspective.

One would hope, but death rates stimulate clicks and justify overreach.

What we're finding out is nothing more that what you, Vat, and myself have been harping on since this shit hit the fan.

Without a vaccine (if they ever come up with an effective one) everyone is going to get this bug and they're either going to develop immunity or die.

I am reminded of the sacrifice made by the few
to drag the majority to the alter of Science
instead of the alter of Christ...

We seem to have a lot of new-age secular Christians
trying to impose ideological purity as Science.

Some things never change.

Hey you Fawker! My mother, who has cancer, is in the hottest county in the state. my brother, who is law enforcement in the county had to stop bringing her groceries! Rural as fuck!

Also, how you doing down in that heel? Cool if we cut you off and send you to Arkansas?

What the hell has ArKANSAS ever done to you you damned dirty spawn of Bushwhackers?

;) ;)

It's still pretty much a non-event here unless you count the financial toll
on our regional health care industry. Now, it's not just the hospitals.
It's getting hard for a patient to even see a doctor...
