Here's How Donald Trump Could Become President

Trump: "I disavowed David Duke all weekend long but it's never enough."

He should've spent 20 years in Duke's Church - then ALL IS FORGIVEN:rolleyes:

Perhaps, but there it is, I'm on record. And I'll have to hold my nose and vote for her too. Btw, I've yet to find one Republican acquaintance who will vote for Trump.

This has not been an issue for me. And I live in what passes for Kasich Country.

When you look at it, at least on the surface, there is little difference between Hillary and Trump with regard to policy save two positions. Trump plans to stop the wholesale invasion of illegals and that is well within the power of a president and doesn't require congressional action. And he wants to shit can "ShuckNJiveCare." And with out a profound change in the make up of congress that is within the realm of possibility.

Obviously Hillary is on the opposite side of those two issues. She'd do everything in her power to even increase the flood of illegals. Re. "ShuckNJiveCare", she wants to 'fix' it. And once more, without a profound change in the make up of congress that just isn't going to happen.

Should Trump get the nomination I would have to vote for him. There is no way I'm going to participate in aiding and abetting putting either a criminal or a communist in the oval office.

Ishmael

"Flood of illegals" as in, "More illegals are being deported/leaving voluntarily than arriving." Which has been the case for a few years now.

And considering you once told me, when Bush was President, that it was a shame the government didn't have the right to shut down newspapers it disapproved of, your allegedly grudging support for the Orange Strongman is no great surprise.

"Former Arkansas Governor's Mike Huckabee's daughter, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, has joined Donald Trump’s campaign. Huckabee Sanders will reportedly serve as a senior adviser for the campaign and said in a statement, "I volunteered to join Mr. Trump’s campaign because he is a champion of working families; not Washington-Wall Street elites. I’m honored to help Mr. Trump Make America Great Again.""

This is probably going to be as close to a Huckabee endorsement as we will see, at least for a while.

Trump is only a champion of working families of foreign workers brought in under the H-2B visa program. American workers need not apply.

A source even the most entrenched right wingnut can't ignore.

The Suicide of the GOP Establishment

http://www*****zette.com/polizette/the-suicide-of-the-gop-establishment/

"Despite the Trump juggernaut, they refuse to rethink Bushism in their support for Rubio"

"Here is something to think about as we approach Super Tuesday.

If Marco Rubio becomes president, we can expect:

1.) That he will work with Democrats and the GOP leadership in Congress to pass something that looks like the Gang of Eight amnesty bill.

2.) That he will urge Congress to pass any trade agreements that Obama has signed.

3.) That he will send significant numbers of U.S. troops to the Middle East.

4.) That his foreign policy will be developed by many of the same people who advised George W. Bush.

5.) That his economic policy will reflect the views of those who were in power when the United States was hit by the economic crisis of 2008."

Donald Trump Is Already Crushing Mitt Romney's 2012 Performance

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-polling-mitt-romney_us_56d47285e4b0871f60ec1461

"GOP voters had a more favorable view of Romney, but Trump is outperforming him in national polls."

"Businessman Donald Trump’s support among Republican voters has hit a new national high of 49 percent, according to a CNN/ORC poll. By contrast, the party's nominee in 2012, Mitt Romney, didn’t reach 49 percent in a poll until mid-April of that year.

As YouGov’s William Jordan noted, Romney’s highest polling number prior to that was 40 percent, which he achieved once in mid-January 2012 and once at the end of February. Support for Trump has been over 40 percent in the last four national polls, and flirted with the 40 percent mark in some polls in early December.

Single polls can vary considerably, though, so a better metric is how Trump is performing relative to Romney in the polling averages. Here, too, Trump has the advantage."

It's insane.
The more off the wall he gets, the more popular he becomes.
Nothin sticks to this guy.
And anyone who attacks him goes down.
Truly, I just don't get it.

I do, stupid and evil has reached critical. Either that or Democrats finally infiltrated the Republicans.

I thought Huckabee would probably endorse Trump on or before Super Tuesday, but I realize now having his daughter join Trump's campaign as a senior advisor accomplished the goal without his having to declare a personal endorsement. So I guess Governor Scott of Florida will now be the next big endorsement, and it could come sooner than I previously thought. Maybe tomorrow, even, to get more Super Tuesday votes, well before the Florida primary. Wouldn't surprise me. Trump is playing his cards rather well, it seems to me.

The conventional wisdom is MINDS ARE MADE UP AND THE OUTCOME IS ALMOST CERTAIN.

But here's a heads up for all: Come November voters will get a choice between THINGS AS THEY ARE NOW and a who nuther world where todays 'protected' no longer enjoy the CYA benefit many now count on, I'm speaking of bureaucrats, blacks, perfessers, bankers, and gals. Peggy Noonan calls it the war between the protected and the unprotected working stiffs. WALMART vs Main Street..

Fuck Peggy...

She was an Obama cheerleader.

Cannot the same be said for Hillary Clinton?

No amount of bombshells can sway or cause pause with Democrats...

The X factor in Nov will be

Muslims

In the absence of a major attack, CuntClinton will be able to portray Trump as a hater and dangerous

If a major attack happens

Trump=Landslide

BREAKING! CNN reporting Cruz insiders say he'll be dropping out and endorsing @realDonaldTrump! Developing...

During the past couple of weeks, the Cruz and Trump camps have been discussing Cruz withdrawing from the race and pledging his supporters/delegates to Trump in exchange for a guarantee of the next Justice nomination. Within the last couple of days, that chatter has exponentially intensified.

However, unless Trump also pulls along significant newbie rebel Senators on his coattails (if he wins the general), enough GOP Senators will most definitely side with Democrat Senators to deny Cruz that nomination, simply out of pure spite for the significant role Cruz has played in what the big picture actually is, what Trump as President actually portends: the very downfall of the GOP itself as anyone has ever known it.

Hillary has yet to be indicted if you're talking about her crimes. The rest at this point is the same as with Obama. After a decade plus of people crying wolf it's hard to care about the lastest poutrage even if one may be legit.

Trump has scheduled a press conference for 8:00 this evening. Undoubtedly another big endorsement will be announced. Scott, I'm thinking. Another smart move, if so. He's making chess look like checkers.

See?! You can be funny. Still unintentional, though. What a dope.
