Why is Trump so different in his approach to issues? Perhaps it's because all the rest all all the same.
If you look at the list of our presidents and candidates over the past 60 years it becomes glaringly obvious that virtually all of them had JD degrees and most of them obtained those degrees from HaaaVad or Yale. They are lawyers. Their thought processes are those of a lawyer. It should come as no surprise that their approach to problem solving would be similar if not identical. In other words they're constrained by their training.
Trump has a completely different background so it should come as no surprise that his approach is completely different too. He is no more or less constrained than the others by his training and background, just different.
