Yes, a new puppy. Another miniature schnauzer. I should be picking her up on Wednesday. Don't worry, the pictures will be plentiful (warning!)

My 4th was quiet. I spoke with and visited with family and even with a Literotican.

How was yours?

I have a trip planned this Oct. flying back east to take my dad on we haven't gone on a hunt together in almost 10 years.

How is your July 4 weekend? I heard about what happened at the airport in Cali. Hope that will be the end of such things. Enjoy and have a beer for me.

I'm not really sure yet which area we'll go to, but it will probably be near Alaska since he also wants to check on some business interests he has there. Got any suggestions? Roughing it is no problem for us. We are both experienced in the wild. Also suggestions about the best time of year might be helpful.

I know what you mean about all the Jade's on here. I have just started to see some of the others recently. I have been popping in and out of Barely_Theres thread and she is very beautiful.

Well I'm glad you liked the new pic for the av but I think I will stay with this one for now. I will be keeping a look out for a new one or if I great brave I will try to do something myself.

Happy 4th of July

Just got back and catching up on the posts here and there.

It was great at the lake, Thursday night was comfortable, but I got too much sun Friday and had to use the air conditioning Friday and Saturday nights. We had an "Independence Day" party last night with food, dancing, a DJ; it was good until some of the older people started retiring to their boats, when the DJ saw he had a younger audience he switched to hip-hop *ugh* I can enjoy anything but that and rap (well, i'm not much into gospel, either)

I try not to worry too much, but it's a flaw I'm working on. Although, I don't quite know what you were refering to.

I know you'll find another av to your liking, one of your pics would be nice too. {you could use the one from that party }

I hope your weekend was nice and please see what you could do about sending some of that cool air south

hello berk....in western forsyth here...spend most of my time on lake norman and mountain island...*s*....i'm sure you've spent some time on norman haven't you?.....i've never been to wylie but i think a friend of mine in charlotte knows some people there...it's nice to meet you neighbor...happy boating!....and thanks for the reply!

sounds like you are in clemmons, lewisville, or maybe even vienna. i've spent some time on norman, but since i got the 24' cruiser i mainly stay in "home" waters, unless i take it to the coast. at 7000# it's trailerable but a bit of a handful. the 18 footer i had before we've taken to belews, high rock, james, norman, filpott (sp?, bassett, va.), and smith mountain.

Welcome back! I have to admitt I have missed you the past few days. So glad you enjoyed your long weekend? It sounds like you had a wonderful time. Dancing, good food, friends wish I had been there .

Did you talk to your friend about buying his boat? When we last talked you sounded so very excited and all I could do was picture you smiling as you told me.

I take it you like the pic from the party. Well I have still been looking but so far nothing that has really interested me. I hope to have another pic up int he next day or so and a few of my friends. They agreed to let me post a few of them as well.

Well I don't think I can send any of the cool air south. We really need it here . Besides you have the water to cool you down. Yes my weekend was wonderful. I went out shopping and had lunch with the girls. Had Precious to the park.

We missed again. I've been getting a lot of conflicting info about this boat I want to buy. He's got it priced too high for one thing and there are a couple of mechanical things I heard about this weekend, but I'm not sure... the person telling me about the biggest of the mechanical problems ALSO has a boat for sale. You don't think there's a little conflict of interest there, do you? I don't think there's anything that would be a deal buster, except price. I'm not going to pay $46000 for a $35000 boat that needs a $3000 generator. We did talk about a trade but he was like "I don't really want a boat like yours, but how much would you be willing to kick in." I just told him I'd have to think about that one, mine is worth $30 to 35 and it's turnkey. I'm trying to cool myself down so I can be more objective about it. I do have a nibble on mine, though. One of the members said he has a partner who is looking for a boat like mine, he would tell him about it.

Enough about the boat, I get started, I don't know when to shut up.

Hope you enjoyed your dinner. I feel like I've eaten more in the last four days than in the last two weeks. Went to see MIIB (aka: Men in Black II), actually got in this time. Popcorn there and pizza after. I'm stuffed!

I can't wait to see the other party pics. It should be cool. I was teasing you a little about using the one you posted as your av, the one I was talking about was you in all your cuteness looking tired (or a little bit hammered)

My day has been fairly slow. My last guest for the 4th left this morning to head back to Ohio. I had a party here and had invited fifty friends. seventy-five showed up which was no problem since most of them brought their tents or campers. I have a big party every year for the fouth and also for the Labor Day weekend. I generally lasts anywhere from three days to a week. We had the fire-chief stop by and help out with the fireworks which we fired from a hilltop so they could be seen for miles.

I only have one rule about my parties. No needles and no cocaine. I will not have any drug around me that is addictive. Pot? sure! Twist that puppy and fire it up!

Guess I'm still kinda fucked up from partying since the 4th. Well, I've got to get some sleep soon, so I can get back into the office tomorrow.

How have you guys been?

BTW. Showed a few friends Lit. they were really impressed and several said they plan to join up.

Don't do any fishing. I never really got into it. I mostly just like to cruise, find a little secluded spot, swim relax, have a couple of Adult Beverages, explore. Mostly I just love to be on the water, I guess I truly am an Aquarius.
