As Kya and Lexi made their way through the store, Lexi kept handing things to Kya, telling her that she should buy a sexy new outfit to show off for her new stud as Lexi liked to call him now. She knew that her friend didn't like the idea of Kya being 'used' by this 'married man' who only wanted an 'affair'. Kya felt bad for lying to her friend, but what was she supposed to do?
Lexi waved a dress in front of her face as Kya made a face and shook her head. "Seriously Lexi, if you're going to get me to buy a new dress, at least make it cute." She told her, rolling her eyes as she began to dance with one of the manicans before the manager came over and with a stern look, made Lexi stop, which caused a fit of giggles to make their way out of Kya's mouth.
"So I let it drop earlier, but I have to know. What aren't you telling me? I know you wouldn't purposely allow yourself to be used for just an affair, a discreet relationship with a married man. Kya, you know you can tell me anything and it stays between us." She told her honestly.
Kya groaned as she put down the one dress she actually found cute. Turning to look at her friend she bit her lip and shook her head. "I'm sorry, I just can't. I-"
"Does this have something to do with Jake?" Lexi asked all of a sudden, making Kya freeze in her place. I knew it!" She exclaimed. "What aren't you telling me, and why do I have a feeling that it's not a good thing?" She asked slowly, curiously.
"It's nothing..I-uh. I just. Lexi." She whined. "Please don't make me say anything, I really don't want to." She looked at her friend and bit her lip as she looked down. "You wouldn't want to know any how." She said quietly.
"Oh Kya, no. Please don't tell me." Kya looked up to see Lexi's hand moving to cover her mouth in shock. Kya's eyes turned sad as she watched her friend react. "You didn't." She said for the second time that day, but this time in confusion and sadness. "Did you...did you hookup with Jake?" She asked quietly as her eyes scanned Kya's face, making her uncomfortable. Kya looked away quickly and Lexi looked even more sad.
"You did. But I thought you said you met with that guy, from the cam, the pervert."
"Don't call him that!" She flared, her eyes turning angry. "I did meet with the guy from the cam, and it so happens it was Jake. I can't help it." She sighed, sitting down on one of the stools sitting nearby for people waiting outside of the dressing rooms as she played with her hair, avoiding her friend's eyes.
"We found out last night that we had been messaging and camming to one another for the past half a year. It had been him all this time, and I hadn't even known it! I mean how stupid could I be? I mean, if we had found out earlier on and stopped, then we might not be in this situation..but we didn't find out until last night and by that point, I had already fallen in love with the faceless stranger on the internet and by the way he's told me, he feels the same way." Kya let out a sigh as she closed her eyes from her friend's horror-stricken face.
"Please don't be mad, or disgusted, or hate me." She whispered sadly, not able to open her eyes. "Besides Jake, you're all I have, Lex." She felt a tear roll down her face as she felt a pair of arms pulling her in close. Kya relaxed in her friend's arms as she hugged her back.
"I don't hate you, I'm not mad at you, and I'm not disgusted with you. Just a little disappointed. Please don't cry, Kya. I just don't want this life for you. Hiding, afraid of the authorities finding out, what about your parents? What about school? What about me? Are you just going to leave your old life behind, to go experiment with your brother?"
Kya felt her temper rising but tried to hold it back as she replied. "This is not just some experiment. He loves me. I can see the truth in his eyes when he tells me. This isn't some game. I wouldn't risk my life for it, if it were. I love him, I can't stop it. And aren't you the one who's always said that no matter what age you are and no matter the person you fall for, you're never too young for love? What about the quote you can't help who you fall for? Fate has a funny way with things and I can't help that it led us both here, but I'll do anything to keep him." She told her friend firmly.
Lexi sighed and nodded her head firmly. "I understand Kya, I just don't agree with your logic. I don't approve of your decision, but you're still my friend regardless of your decisions. I love you, and I hope that things work out for you two, I really do, but I don't entirely support it. That doesn't mean that we can't be friends though. I'm here for you, until death do us part."
Kya smiled at her friend and hugged her once more before she felt a vibration against her butt, making her jump. Pulling back from Lexi, she pulled her phone out of her back pocket and smiled as she noticed Jake's name.
"Hey, how's everything going at the club for you guys? I just found this sexy little dress I think you'll like." She told him with a smile, hearing a snort from her friend as she tried to ignore it.
