Eiji slumped down on his bed "Ow..." he groaned in pain. He once again failed math, in wich he was punished severly by Sen. "Every time... I'm begining to hate school"

Eiji had to do 2045 push ups, 6000 crunches, 20000 sit ups, and 450 energy blast, which really taken the energy out of him. He tried to move his right arm, but his body had already stiffen up. "Ow ow ow ow! I know something worst is going to happen, in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..."

There was an sudden bagning on the door "Eiji! Open up, its Mai"

"Ooooooooh!"

Outside of the house, a small boy sat on the steps, his head in his arms. He didn't see the shadow coming, and before he could react, he felt a strong arm around him. He tensed, and then relaxed.

"Touji..." whispered Yakanama.

"Little brother," said Touji softly, "I am victorious."

Yakanama nodded and looked up, smiling. There were still tears in his eyes. "I saw you on TV. You were great, big brother. I want to be as good as you when I grow up..."

As good as me... not as strong as me, but as good as me...

Touji glanced down. "Eiji was the strongest, not I. And... I fought dishonorably with the girl."

Yakanama shook his head. "Man, she kicked you in the nuts. After that, anything went, brother." He managed to grin, but it faltered.

Touji smiled softly, and hugged his brother tightly. "Mother and father fighting again?" His little brother nodded. "Don't worry, Yakanama. I swear I will not fail you again. I have proven my valor..."

The little boy looked up, his eyes shining, but no longer with tears. "So, are you going to beat Eiji, now?"

A figure waited behind a tree, watching. It had not been there for long... it had not even realized that Touji would come home at this time... but why not wait?

Touji sighed, and shook his head. "No, Yakanama. I do not need to prove anything with Eiji, not anymore. Now I have a purpose, and not a purpose so foolish and vague as to be the greatest fighter. I will protect you, Yakanama. And protect... my friends." He bowed his head. "I just need to make some friends..."

"I'm your friend, Touji..."

Both Yakanama and Touji looked up. Momiji stood there, watching him with a soft expression in her eyes.

"No way," snapped Yakanama. "You're always insulting big brother, and telling him that he's a bad person. What are you doing here? I should--"

"Stop, little brother," said Touji quietly. Immediately, Yakanama complied, and Touji stood, approaching Momiji with soft footsteps. "Are you my friend, Momiji?"

"...yeah," she said. "I've always waited for when you'd start... fighting with your heart..."

Momiji...? Fighting with my heart? Eiji said that...

"The Beast still lives," said Touji, shaking his head.

"I don't care," responded Momiji firmly. "I will support you through anything, Touji. Please, let me be your friend." She looked up at him, now smiling. When he thought about it, she was quite attractive -- a normal figure but with a certain flow of her hair, a certain shape of her eyes, and a certain heart-skipping smile... he never had cared before.

"Sure," agreed Touji. "Thanks."

The racket continued within the house.

But now there were three sitting upon the steps.

Eiji got up and opened the door "What?"

"You promissed."

"Promissed what?"

"You promissed to spar with me today!"

"No way! I'm too tired to do so maybe tommorow."

Mai crossed her arms, she always had an trick up her sleeve "Well Eiji, you have an choice, spar with me, or go out to the beach and do twenty laps in the water!"

Eiji groaned and rabed his jacket. "Where are you going?"

"Out to the beach."

"Oh ok- What?!"

"Like I said, I'm too tired to spar with you, but I didn't say that I wasn't too tired to go swiming!" Eiji walked out of the room with an smirk on his face, this time he out smarted his sister. "Cerbie, lets go!"

OOC: Sorry it took so long.

(Yakanama shook his head. "Man, she kicked you in the nuts. After that, anything went, brother." He managed to grin, but it faltered.) I don't know why but I like this.

IC: Yoshiro! I'm Lea! Last night! Shit! I dared not move in my shock. It was almost like I beleaved that if I didn't he wouldn't see me. I stared at him in shock for what felt like a day, but then my arm started shakeing. I glanced at the twiching arm hopeing that looking at it would make it stop and alow me to save face after yesterday.

Yoshiro blinked, leaning in. "Uh, sorry I got worked up," he said nervously, glancing back at the guy in the black shirt -- but he had already run away. "Don't like to see jerks like that chasing ladies..."

He turned back to Lea and smiled. "Hey, Lea, are you okay? How did finals go?"

I almost never see her here, at school...

Smiling to herself, Tetsuru slipped an envelope labeled "To Lee and Lea" underneath the door of Lee's large house. Humming a soft tune, she began to skip away, heading for Eiji's house and carrying a handful of envelopes with her.

IC: Yoshiro turned around and the guy that hit on me left. Yoshiro faced me once more. 'I don't like to see jerks like that chasing ladies...' I looked at him dumb founded. Is he going to do that again? What if he uses that kinda trick again? I'm worried.

The big guy pushed back his hair and smiled at me. Dang he's doing it isn't he? 'Hey, Lea, are you okay? How did finals go?' "Aah," I had my mouth open like an idiot. "Finals they ended." What the hell dose that mean? Well what do I care I just don't want to be seduced again.

Eiji sat silently on an cliff, although it wasn't one of his favorite things to do, he rather do it than swim " *yawning* Lifes been giving us quite a few curve balls eh Cerb?"

Cerbie just yawned. He didn't really notice all of the sudden changes, well except for two or three. "Hey Cerbie... Didn't you have THREE heads?"

Cerbie just yawned again, it didn't really phase him that one of his heads disapered.

"No matter Eh? Oh well, soon enough you'll just look like a normal dog!" Eiji looked back at the sky, not thinking at all.

Her lips were parted for a moment, and he could see her tongue. Gosh, I want to grab her right now and... no! Restrain yourself, Yoshiro! She's a lady, like Tetsuru would say... and she's probably embarassed by last night...

"Finals... they're over," she said. He laughed at that one.

"Yeah, I share the sentiment," he said softly. "It's summer vacation now... do you have any plans? It's still warm, and I was going to go to the beach and go swimming... do you want to come?" He smiled again, and reached out and squeezed her arm tenderly. "I don't mean to monopolize your time. I just love spending time with you, is all."

Tetsuru seemed to be planning something... I wonder what she's up to? I hope it's not expensive...

OOC: Yoshirop is going to die when he finds out what she's planing.

IC: 'Yea, I share the sentiment.' I can see why school was hard this year. Really hard too. I mean just sorta hard, but... Damn it he's doing it to me again I don't even know where I am.

'It's summer vacation now... do you have any plans? It's still warm, and I was going to go to the beach and go swimming... do you want to come?' Beach, "I love the beach!" the calm waves and the sand under your feet. I grab his arm and begin to run towards the beach. He's takeing me to the beach, this is....

I let go of his arm. What the hell am I doing? I don't want to spend time with this guy. Also if I'm going then I have to get my swim suite. Wait a minute I don't want to go. I smile at him and say "I have to get my swim suite." This is so not happening to me.

She smiled at me... I think I'm going to melt...

Yoshiro blushed slightly and smiled again. "G-Great!" Oh, wow, a swim suit? I wonder... "I have to go home and change too, so let's go and, uh, when we're done, let's meet outside our houses, alright?"

Man, whatever happened to my tough guy image?

Smiling happily, he gave Lea a soft hug with one arm, obviously a little embarassed by the display of affection, and then strode off, humming a merry tune to himself as he went.

She wants to swim with me? That means... that obviously she's forgiven me for the incident in the swimming pool. Good for her, I still haven't forgiven myself.

Touji blinked, staring at the card in his hand.

"Uh," he asked, "can Yakanama and Momiji come too?"

"Yeah!" cried Yakanama. "I hear Jameo is great."

"Me?" said Momiji, blushing in surprise.

"Sure," said Tetsuru, smiling. "Invite anyone you like." She bowed slightly, smiling wider, and walked off.

"Nobody else," murmured Touji. "These are my friends."

"She's beautiful," murmured Yakanama.

"Yakanama," grunted Touji, "you're too young for that."

Momiji merely stared at Tetsuru. I wonder if Touji would pay attention to me, if I looked like that?

OOC: I for see plastic surgery in Momiji's future.

IC: What the hell am I doing? He hugs me. Okay first we need to set some ground rules. "Look I like you and all but we need to set some rules. No kissing on the lips." Where the hell am I going with this? "Also no feeling. We are goeing there to," Well if I'm going at least I'm doing it on my terms. "Make out in the water." So it setteled then where going just to swim. We were now less then a block from our homes.

Yoshiro blinked, listening to Lea talk.

"Okay, I like you and all, but we need to set some rules."

He nodded, his eyes downcast. It's the least she can do. If she ignored what I did earlier... I'd really wonder if I deserved her.

"No kissing on the lips."

Yoshiro flushed slightly, and nodded after a moment.She must be remembering what happened then. Well, I enjoyed kissing her before, and just thinking about those lips... oh, well...

"Also, no feeling."

Yoshiro nearly choked, and nodded rapidly. N-No WHAT? I, I wouldn't, I mean, well, not unless she didn't mind, er, I mean...

"We are going there to make out in the water."

Yoshiro nodded solemnly as they reached their houses. "Well, if that's what--" He suddenly did a double-take and stared at Lea, eyes wide. "Wait, we're going there to WHAT?" His face blushed scarlet as he boggled at her.

IC: 'Wait, we're going there to WHAT?' I looked at hima bit suprised. We came up to our homes. "We're going there to swim, thats what you do at the beach." I thought about it for a minute. What did he think I said. "Then roll around in the sand."

I looked up. "I'm sorry did you say something to me?" I must be nerves I'm hearing things. I then headed for my front door.

Eiji layed silently on the cliff, looking at the water, he already his 20 laps, and his body was now steaming due to all of his "punishment" . "You know, if you stay there any longer, you'll get a sunburn!"

Eiji sharply turned around, and saw an older version of sparrow. "So, you wernt lying."

"Nope."

"Well, hows life been going for you?"

"Better than ever!"

Okay, now I'm going to crap myself laughing.

"Um. Um, I... I, um... No. No, not me. No. Um, see you soon." Dazed, his eyes unfocused, he wandered into the apartment building, quietly unlocked his and Tetsuru's apartment, and walked calmly into the room, shutting the door behind him.

Then he ran into the wall to clear his head.

Roll... roll around... in the sand? Oh, gawd!

Yoshiro slumped, panting. Because of exertion. Yes.

Okay, Lea's just having a bit of trouble with subconscious thoughts, that's all. Nothing to worry about. No reason to have some sort of far-fetched hope that I will get somewhere. I mean, I just want to swim, that's all. I don't want to make out in the water and roll around on the sand. No. That is NOT what I want. No. Look, I said no.

Hee hee, she's having subconscious thoughts about me...

Ahem!

Struggling to his feet, Yoshiro wandered off to his room in the vague thought that he was supposed to be changing into his swimming trunks.

Lee in "Yes a Loop Hole!"

IC: I walk up stairs and began to look for the swim suite. It's the same pink bikni that always fit so tightly aroun me. Now where did I put it. I searched for quite a while and couldn't find it.

I walked down stairs to see dad. "Hey dad do you know where mom put my swim suite?" 'You should change into a girl before you go swiming.' I looked down at myself. Well I'lll be damned I'm a guy? "This make no sense I was a girl a few seconds ago?" 'Any how I think your mother is picking up the dry clean.' "Okay."

I guess I should change back into a guy before I go out and break Yoshiros heart. I walk to the rest room and splash myseelf with cold water. I turn myself back into the girl and walk out and wiat for him.

Eiji stood up "Well you definetly look like youy can fight" Eiji said smirking

"Is that a chalenge?"

Eiji groaned as he thought of another second of any type of phsical activaty "Not today, I'm exhasted!"

Sparrow laughed "Mai told me that you were beaten to the pulp by your grandfather!"

Eiji gave Sparrow a sharp look, holding one of Cerbie's collars "Watch it." He said, as Cerbie growled in a low tone If you don't let go of my collar, I'm going to introduce my teeth to your sensitive area Eiji!

OOC: I wouldn't want to be eiji if Cerbie dose do that.

IC: I saw Yoshiro come walking across the street tot talk to me. Right then I saw moms car start comeing up the street. No now I'll have to hear her comeents about going out again.

A tall girl of immense beauty and obvious foreign descent walked about town followed by a large man in a dark suit and sunglasses.

"Frau Van Dyne, do you know where you are going? Would you like to go back to the castle, or visit our embassy perhaps?"

Veronica looked at her bodyguard and adjutant, Franz with a sense of pause, "No, I really wanted to explore the town, get a feel of the place. But's it's so confusing, are you sure you could get us home?"

Franz assured her that they could and the two continued to traipse about, sometimes stopping to buy something or look at some oddity. Along the way they practiced speaking to each other in their new local language, their Dutch accents drew some attention as they fumbled around a few words.

Eiji was walking back home, hoping Sen wouldn't punish hime for ditching his sister, but like he said, he was was too tired to spar with her. "Its getting dark now... and I'm on Dranike St... This is the thug part of town, I know I'm going to get some type of exercise! Come on Cerb..."

Eiji shoved his hands in his pockets. And began to walk down the street once more.

A short girl of immense... beauty and obvious cheerful attitude walked about town, whistling softly to herself, with an empty bag by her side.

"All cards delivered," Tetsuru said to herself, smiling gently. Her reddish hair, the family trait, fluttered in the wind, caressing her pretty face as she self-consciously did up one of the buttons of her blouse. Getting a bit too much sun in there, I think... eheheh... She wore a tight blouse (which was supposed to be loose, but...) and some tight blue hakima pants. Her favorite high-heeled sandals clicked on the ground -- perfect clothing for a perfect day. What weather!

"Now I get to kick back and watch some cartoons, and see if Yoshiro-kun wants to do something, assuming he doesn't strangle me for--hwuh?"

She scratched the back of her head. Tourists? Already? I might be pretty knew to this school but sheesh, I've never seen ANYONE like those people before...

She approached the tall girl and watchful man, smiling widely. "Hey there!" she said. "Are you two visiting?"

Yoshiro blinked as Lea approached him. She hasn't changed... well, maybe she can't go... oh, well. I suppose I can go with Tetsuru, though it means I'll have to beat up some more too-curious guys...

He wore a simple white t-shirt, which framed his impressive build, and dark swimming trunks and sandals. The sandals were pink, and had little white puppy images on them. Tetsuru had probably bought them for him. He didn't care, though. There isn't too much he cares about.

He blinked again, leaning down so he wouldn't tower over Lea. "Is there something wrong, Lea?"

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a car pull up, and there was a woman inside, watching him and grinning...

Who's she? She looks a little like Lea... oh, NO...

Eiji was about to turn a corner when he stoped dead in his tracks seeing Tetsuru and two other people. I'm in no mood for any type of confratations right now... Theres got to be a way out of this... Eiji looked around, and saw an trash can right by an slightly small building. "That will work..." He muttered to himself. He quickly hoped up on the trash can, and pull him self up the top of the building.

"*Woof!*"

"Shh! Quiet Cerberus! listen, Tetsuru won't notice you if you sneek behind those trash cans. I'll meet you back home." Cerbie stayed there for an moment "Go on! I'll be fine!" Cerbie quickly left behind the trash cans like Eiji said for him to do. "Now... I'll have to find a way to get on that roof top..."

Eiji looked silently, but found nothing. "Baka... I'll just have to jump... And I thought I could relax for a bit!" Eiji pulled back a bit, then bolted to the ledge of the roof top and jumped landing pretty ruffly, as he rolled on the ground. "Ow... Why me?"

Shouldn't realy be ease droping but... Just in case Tetsuru needs help... Eiji walked near the ledge of the building and knelt down, silently watching whats going on between the three.

Lee in "Yea... The beach."

IC: 'Is something the matter Lea?' "Well I can't go with you. I can't find my swim suite." 'Well you can borrow Tetsuru's.' I looked at the big guy. Not that I want to go but, I don't think I'll fit in hers.

'Le..a,' I turned to my mother. Thank god she rembered in time. 'I almost forgot sorry.' Real smooth cover up mom. 'I took your suite to the dry cleaners I just got it back.' Which suite? My formal suite my wedding suite, my tux? "Wich..." 'Your swim suite.' She held up the pink Bikni. I looked at the boxer shots and the tight top. "That's Dry Clean only?!?!?!"

'Yep shure is? I wouldn't of bought it for you if it wasn't.' What the hell? She had a point but did she have to come right now. I walk over to the swim suite knowing I was defeated. I picked up the evil item and walked towards my home. "I'll be right back."

Lea's expression went blank, and she stared at him.

Okay, maybe offering one of Tetsuru's wasn't such a good idea.

Then her mom came, but rather than say anything to Yoshiro (as he expected), she offered Lea her swim suit. As Lea, her expression still somewhat blank, accepted the suit and walked back to the house, her mother turned, winked at him, and followed her daughter.

Her mom... winked at me?

That's creepy!

Shaking his head, bewildered, Yoshiro watched Lea go.

That's a cute suit... though I wish that bottom showed more of her... ah...

He blushed, clearing his throat.

Sparrow shivered as he heard the two headed dog give an evil low growl. "Okay okay, I take it back!" Soarriw looked at the mut "Whats his name any way?"

"Cerbie, Cerberus for short."

Sparrow turn around "Jus wanted to say thanks, gotta bail."

"Things are finaly going back to normal, thats good... But why do I feel strange? Something isn't right."
