Mai Sat on her bed, legs curled up. She couldn't sleep, nor she wanted to get up. Eiji would have called her an lazy brat, just to piss her off, at the moment, she really wanted for him to do so.

Suddenly there was an scratching sound at the door. So now she had no choice but to get up. She groaned as she stood up and slowly truged to the door. When she opened the door, she saw nothing. "Huh?! What is this? Doorbell ditch? In an hotel??"

"Down here..."

 

[Jacobo_Curious]

"Father... what are you making?"

Tetsuru was staring into the distance, but Yoshiro just shook his head.

"These are only maintenence machines, sister. They seem to be creating replacement parts."

The pretty girl turned, her dark red hair swishing behind her as she looked to her brother with worry.

"But... what for?"

It happened almost too fast, but Yoshiro was faster.

In the next few seconds, he was on the ground, shielding his sister with his body, and a smoking spot on the metal tile attested to the power of the attack laser mounted on the machine that had come from nowhere to confront the group. It had four legs, segmented like a spider, but with metal-hubbed wheels at the end.

"ATTACK SCARAB 0018 REPORTING," it clanked. "IDENTIFY YOURSELVES OR BE DESTROYED."

"You already shot first," hissed Yoshiro, rising to his feet with a relaxed, wavy motion like a snake ready to attack, looking down from beneath his brow with a glare. "I'm Yoshiro Inui. Take me to my father or die."

There was a pause.

"NAME RECOGNIZED. YOSHIRO INUI."

Tetsuru, in the process of getting up, seemed to relax.

"PRE-INPUTTED ORDERS: DESTROY."

The two siblings stared at the machination.

"Move quickly!" yelled Yoshiro, gathering up his sister and diving out of the way as the mounted gun on the metal beast fired another attack, barely missing. "It only has one beam! Strike from different sides!"

Eiji stared blankly at the machine for an few seconds. But it suddenly pointed its cannon torwards him, and without any form of warning, it fired.

"Shit!" Eiji jumped out of the robots fireing range just enough not to be wounded, it insted shot through his shirt and jacket. "This thing's quick..." Eiji slowly stood up. "We have to destroy that gun on that hunk of junk!"

Rikku

IC: "Incomeing!" I jump away from the robots line of fire as it targets Eiji. I run to the side. "Why doesn't your father stop this?" I turned to Yoshiro. Um what magics would do well against a machine? Come on think Rikku think.

Lighting might work. I move my hand and a bolt of lighting fires from my ring. It hits the machine stunning it for only a second. "Not as effective as I hoped. Any one have idea's?"

The eletric spell affected it.... But it wasn't strong enough... We need something stronger. But I never learned electric spells. Eiji thought about it as quickly as he could as he searched around for something fry the metalic spider.

Eiji finnaly saw an a bucket that cotained little water. "Maybe it will work..." As soon as the robots gun began to turn, Eiji made an dash for the bucket. But before he could grab it, the machine shot him in the arm, and knocked him to the ground.

Rikku

IC: I imdeatly relise what eiji was thinking with a bucket of water. As he triped and the bucket fail so did our hope but with a grate deal of grace and agility I ran in and cought the buket before it spilled.

"I know what your thinking!" I ran behind the machine and threw on the bucket of water. I then stood defensively waiting for it to rust. The machine kicked at me and I flew to the back wall.

"Eiji it's not rusting fast enough! Any one have some salt!" The machine turned to me once more and it's Lasser readied its self with a glowing light. I rassed my finger at it and the ring once mroe shot out a bolt of lighting. The machines circets were freid.

"Well that worked alot better then your plan Eiji."

"No..." Eiji grumbled as he stood up. "You just did exactly what I wanted you to do Lea... Zap it when it was wet..." Eiji checked his arm for extream damages. "Nothing serious..." I don't want want to worry Tetsuru... From what I just experiancd... She'll need to save up all of her energy...

Rikku:

IC: "Sure I did Eiji. Sure I did. You would know it wouldn't rust that fast. After all you get nothing but strait A's in classes that don't deal with fighting." My sacasm was overly blunt.

Eiji growled and turned his head. *You're just like your brother...* He knew that Rikku wasn't going to be all that happy when he said that, but he ment it, she was acting alot like Lee.

"Look, we better keep going before more of those things come after us."

Rikku

IC: "What do you mean by that?" I looked at Hy damn well knew lee wasn't my brother. Eiji hadn't met any of my familly and I want to keep it that way. "Look watch what you say, I can't help it if I have more comon since then you. So please be kind we are all in this togeatehr right?" Crap I can only hope we have very few of those robots left.

K-Lee

IC: I stoped and landed on pine branch. Now how to go about dealing with Milo, or rather Makai. He may be bluffing to keep Milo alive but it's possible he discovered my weakness 200 years ago. I was more reackless back then, it's possible he noticed it before I defated him. Prehaps my short lived alinance with him wasn't a wise move.

If some one else fights him, then I risk no injury to myself. But who would be strong enough, and at the same time eassy enough to full? I supose I could trick Moonlerion and his freinds into doing it. But I would have to perfect my act as Lee before they reached back to the hotel and discovered my pressence.

I looked down, this village was what I came to see. I had known about it before I set up my base in the cave but I had no time to come here and investigate it. Depending on who I find in this ancheint Ninjistu clan, I'll either destroy it to test my new powers, use the inhabitants, are prehaps ignore it for now. Prehaps it will be usefull latter.

Isamu and Moriko

Isamu and Moriko were at the edge of the village, going through their weapons practice. They were sparring with other people, but their skills were to much for many o the younger villagers, and even some of the older ones. They got a much better workout when they spared against each other.

They took a short break before they stood before one another. They bowed, showing respect, and the got into their stances. many people started gathering around in a circle, as the sessions between the twins always were enjoyable to watch. The crowd watched as the twins lunged at each other, their wooden weapons ready. The two of them attacked and blocked at a furious pace, their weapons hitting together with a solid 'thwack'. The twins each knew the other so well they couldn't score a clear hit on each other. They sparred until they were both out of breath, which took quite a while. When the session was over, many of the villagers applauded the two of them and commented on their skills before going off to their business.

They were sitting in the grass, recovering their eergy when they looked at each other at the same time. "Yes, little sister, I sense it too," Isamu said to Moriko. "There is someone out there, someone of great strength."

K-Lee

IC: I was looking off in the distance a crowd gatehred around two her were fighting. There power feels reasonable, prehaps they could be useful to me.

Now how to go about gaining there aid? Could I trheaton to destroy the village? No I supose that would be to simple and I may be forced to do it makeing enemys that would betrey me at the first chance. Prehaps I could do something else. Yes this might just work.

Milo stared out the window in utter silence. "He ran..." Milo slowly balled his hand into an fist. "Damn it Katala! I swere on my life I'll eliminate you this plane of exsistance!"

Milo sighed and calmed himself down. "No use getting frustrated now, he left like an coward..." Milo rubbed the space between his eyes, "I wonder if Mai is alright..."

(Mai)

Mai slowly looked down to see Cerberus. "Cerbie? Where were you?!"

"Following Eiji..."

"Where is he?" Mai said calmly, trying not to move so her headache would not get worst.

"Not sure... He disapered in an cave. I tried to follo, but the rock closed before I could get in..." Cerbie said as he walked inside.

"Plese tell me he didn't go alone..."

"No.. he didn't, Tetsuru, Lea, Yoshiro, and Yamanaka where there to."

"Mmmmm....." Murmered Mai as she rubbed her temples again.

"Mai... Whats wrong?"

"N-nothing... Just an headache." Mai looked out the door to see if anybody else was around, she instantl saw Milo who was walking torwards her, although it seemed he was in an completely different world at the moment, she still would rather find out what was wrong with him. "Milo? Whats wrong?"

Milo slowly looked up from his position, "Huh?"

Isamu and Moriko

The twins stood up from where they were resting after their sparring practice. They turned and began walking to the center ofthe village, where the chief of the tribe lived. The elders were gathered there, making decisions about the village. Isamu and Moriko politely bowed to the elders before isamu spoke. "Master, we have sensed a great power near the village. We were wondering of you would allow us to go see what may be causing it." The chief thought for a moment before nodding his head, giving his permission.

K-Lee

I was now on teh ground with my eyes closed waiting for the to reasonable powers to aproach. I had felt them omeing some time ago and I figured it was better to let them come to me, then go and get them.

When they were close. I opened my eyes and spoke. "Please come out here." I waited for them to come to the open, most ninja aren't hard for me to find any more, but still they can be tricky to spot especilly when you want them to think your week.

the two children came, they were about the same age as Eiji, Lee, Rikku and the others that had my interests. I smiled softly. "Oh am I glad to see you." I took a quick survey of there power, they felt no stronger then the otehrs physicly or in terms of magic power, still those other children have cought me off gaurd. "I need help. You see, I msut first confes, that this body isn't mine. It belongs to my freind Lee Anno. He is leting me use it for now, I need to get my essence back from a demon." I paused to see how much of this they considered possible. They are strong but they may not know whats possible.

"I can get the essence back by myself but, I am haveing trouble still. An evil spirit that also is in some one elses body holds an ancheint technique that could destroy me, and my freind Lee. So we msut remove this spirit from the other person imdeatly if I'm going to be able to regain my essence." I waited for the reply.

(Milo)

Milo stared at Mai and Cerberus for a few more seconds before turning back at the window. "He's here..."

"Who's here? Milo...?" Milo gave no reply, he just stood staring out the window with his usauly calm eyes, which were now intence and blazing with fury. "Milo.... Answere me."

Why doesn't he die! He has been killed so many times, but he always rises from the grave! WHY!?

"MILO!"

"He's not dead... He will never die by human hands..."

Mai now stared at Milo, confussed by what he said. "What... what are you?"

Isamu and Moriko stood in front of the stranger, listening to his story. They looked at each other when he was finished. They only had to think for a moment before they knew the answer. Isamu spoke up, "We would be happy to help you, sir. Let us go gather our things and we can be on our way. We will aid you in defeating this demon and getting your essence back."

"Milo? Milo.... MILO!!!"

Instatly, Milo snapped out of his confused state of mind. "Hu?"

"Milo, what did you mean 'he cannot die by human hands'? Who's 'he?'"

Milo hesitated, to answere. He didn't want to tell Mai, (or anybodie else for that matter), was still lurking. "Er... N-nobody. Iiiii, think I just need some air, thats all!"

Mai just looked at him for a few moments. "Ooookay... Why don't I come with you? Maybe it will cure my headache."

Milo snickered "Hopefully not in those cloaths!"

Mai looked down, she didn't relise that she was in her pajamas, which was only one of Eiji's old large shirts, and an pair of boxers. "Er... R-right" she muttered, blushing, as she ran back into her room.

""Ohh hoo hoo! Way to be calm little bro! So, who she!" Maki said in an sly tone.

Milo twisted his fist side-ways, raised it, and slamed it into his head.

"OW!"

"Out!"

Rikku

OOC: Fight club comes to mind. kamalw1, Lee is simply going to wait were he is with his eyes shut until you return. Then I'll likely take your two chara's and K-lee to were Milo is. From there we'll see what happens.

Any how I figured I'd post as Rikku.

IC: I was looking around the factory, the metal walls were well built the lasers that missed us barely left a burn mark on the steel. The entire area had a cold metallic blue, some spots glistened silver in the light but under them hid shadow.

The factory was mindless continually building what ever it is, that it was. Some how I doubt that the work being done is something new, no it seemed more like the endless habit of the imperfect place this was.

Much like the colors of this place, one can be impressed by the metallic shades here, but those shadows eventually come to the eye, and when it does, this place is nothing special.

"Really I see not point in staying here. Do we head back and forward." I said it to every one but the question was for Yoshiro and his sister Tetsuru.

Isamu and Moriko ran to their hut to gather their things. They put on their proper ninja gear and fastened their weapons onto their clothing. When they were done, they bid the villagers goodbye and proceeded back to the spot where they talked to the stranger. They approaced him and then bowed their heads as Isamu spoke. "We are now ready to aid you in your quest, sir."

Milo leand agaistthe wall nursing hisno throbbing head. or the past few minutes, he had and serious headache due to two major factors:

1. Maki was ranting about beating him up when he gets the chance, and

2. He just him self upside the head.

Cerberus patietly lied on the floor next to Mai's door, to make sure nobody, (Including Milo) didn't get any ideas.

After a while, Mai cam out in her usaul clothing. "Alright, I'm ready!" Cerberus quickly popped up and stretched its limbs, while Milo pushed hiself off the wall.

"Well then, lets go..."

K-Lee

IC: "Good, good. Then let us be off." Now lets see how useful these children are. Seating up children to fight these pesky kids seems like such a good idea I'm surprised I didn't think of it sooner.

"So how do you two plan to fight Milo?" Milo wasn't really my concern in truth it was Maki that had me worried. "Do you two focus more on stealth or would you prefer an open fight." If they have any common since they would stab him in the back, still for this plan to work I will do it they way they excel at.

"I also must warn you that Milo is occasionally possessed by a demon named Maki, if you are to help me take back my body from Eiji it is important we take his friends and allies." A little conversation and we will be there and I will have a plan of attack ready.

Milo walked in dead silence for the first few minutes, until Mai suddenly broke it. "Milo, what is wrong with you?"

Milo turned around with a conused look on his face. "Haru?"

"You know what I'm taliking about! You've been avoiding people ever since we got back from that cave!"

"Really?"

now Mai was fuming, she knew that Milo was hiding something from everybodie else. But the question was what? She was so agravated that she didn't notice both him and Cerberus were moving on withou her.

"I have no idea what you are talking about..."

Suddenly, Milo felt an cold chill on his shoulder, which ment two things, either somebody was comming, or...

"Shit... He's comming..."
