IC: I didn't mean to ease drop but it quickly became clear that this injury has had an effect on Eiji. He was talking to his two headed dog.

I'm assumeing it has something to do with the Black magic Milo used on him, back at the clock tower all those months ago. Still he seems to think he is full of bad luck. Th draws me back to something a few years back when I first joined that highschool.

I did an extra credit assiment and it involved alot of research. What the matter of truth is fate tests those it plans greatness for. If back luck dose fallow him he may very well join the legions of martars. The goodness only comes after there life. Such a sad fate and now that I see it I would not wish it on any one.

Yoshiro glanced up at the sky. The sun was still high. There was time.

Not that it mattered.

This would probably be the last day of his life, after all.

He turned to his sister, who sat shivering on the ground.

Tetsuru-chan? Are you frightened?

...Yoshiro... I... don't want to die...

Neither do I, Tetsuru. But... to die... we have to be alive, first.

The large boy stared up at the clear sky again, his eyes narrowed against the light.

Y-Yoshiro-kun... I don't want to leave... Eiji...

Her brother bowed his head.

I don't want to leave Lea. But I'm not worthy of her. I'm... not human.

Yoshiro... why? What was the meaning of this? Why did Father create us? Why must we live knowing we are not human? Yet... besides our mind-link, are we even special? We have spiritual powers, of course, but everyone else who does is human...

Her tall brother shook his head, smiled grimly, and reached down to help his sister to her feet. She looked up at him under long, reddish lashes, her cheeks tear-stained. Her crying only made her look more lovely.

"Let's go, sister."

Nodding quietly, Tetsuru and Yoshiro walked away from the hotel, hand in hand, hoping partially that nobody would hear them... and partially that everyone would come rushing out and force the two to bring all of them...

Its was now dark, and the moon had a bright shine reflecting off the lake. Milo was standing near the sleeping Momiji. "I... I hope this works, I haven't used it in years!" Milo put out his hands, his hands were slightly sweaty, and they were already glowing blue "There's alot of energy commiing from the moon tonight, thts good..."

Milo closed his eyes and left every thing blank except for Momiji, ad the spell "Power of the moon, power of the shadows, power of the waters, give me the energy I need, I beg of you! Shallow springs!" Milo put one of his hands on Momiji's throat, and his other hand holding Momiji's hand. Milo used every ounce of his energy. Milo stopped glowing and his energy was completely drained. Milo dropped to his knees, panting. "I did all I can... he should wake up soon..."

Mai searched around fo Eiji and Cerberus, but neither of them was there. "Where is Eiji and Cerbie? In fact, where is Yoshiro and Tetsuru?"

Lee and Rikku

Lee: Milo was working his magic again. This reminds me of when he healed eiji except this spell is far more complex but the wounds are that much greater. Damn you Katala! I will make you pay. Not even your hell can stop me from geting back at you.

I gave on momijis soft kind face. She isn't the best looking girl but she is the best. Just being around her makes me happy. No not jsut me every one. She is so kind that even Touji has reformed. And then I go and try to destroy her. My body is weak and can't survive that is clear. But, I will find the pwoer I need for revenge and after he suffers the pain he has caused I will join him. I have no right to stay ehr I see that now.

I simply sat in my chair. "Thank you Milo." He dose so much. What if he is the one to act next, What if I kill him also? Milo, momiji they have purpose in tehre life.

Rikku: I had been walking sieintly in the bushes along side Tetsuru and Yoshiro. Being a cat gives me skill at moveing quitly. Then again I feel as though they could know I am here but maybe they don't because they want me to be here.

Still were could they be going? Do they have some reason for being here. No they are probably just a little shooken up every one seems to be.

Cerbie Stealthfuly followed Yoshiro and Tetsuru silently behind the line of bushes, Eiji went ou to the sea near the boat to get some freash air and to clear his head. Cerberus was going to follow him, but after he caught the scent of Yoshiro and Tetsuru, Cerbie's powerful curiosity got the best of him I wonder where they are going?

Cerberus caught up to the tall boy and short girl, hiding in the bushes as he watched them with his two heads. The pair of siblings walked in silence, not even communicating with their minds, until finally Tetsuru's shivering got the best of her and she nearly collapsed, though Yoshiro caught her before she could hit the ground.

"N-No..." the pretty girl managed, surprisingly flushing with exertion.

There was fear in her eyes. A deep, deep fear.

Tetsuru, be brave, sister. And please don't talk aloud. Someone might hear us.

She shook her head rapidly. "No! I don't want to..."

Yoshiro's face tightened. "Don't be foolish!" he hissed, before regaining his patience and sighing. "Tetsuru, I'm frightened too. But we have to do this. And we both know that after what... happened... we can't involve anyone else... in our problems..."

"Brother, I don't want to see him... what if he tells me to do something and I can't resist him?"

Her brother shook his head, still holding his limp sister by the waist. "Tetsuru, I'll be here..."

She ignored him. "I don't want to do this alone..."

Her brother's eyes widened, and then narrowed again in rage as she shook her. "What are you talking about!? You're not alone! We're never alone! We're together! Have you forgotten?"

She didn't apologize, but simply stared at the ground, hanging in his arms.

"Yoshiro... we're going to die... it's not worth it..."

He dropped her, and she hit the ground hard, as he clenched his fists. "Stupid!" he managed, visibly fuming. "We can't die! We're not ALIVE! We don't know what it means to live!"

At this, Tetsuru finally rose to her feet. Slowly, but surely, she got to her feet, and looked Yoshiro in the eye sadly.

"...I know what it means to live, now..."

Her brother grimaced. "Don't fool yourself... like... like I did, for a while! You can't be with him, and I can't be with her. You KNOW that! You think you can live happily ever after with such a great lie hiding inside you? And even if we tell them, and they accept us, that doesn't mean we're the same! How can we live not exploring our full potential? What if we never die, and all our friends do? And by that time, Father is gone! What then?"

Tetsuru simply lowered her head, saying nothing.

Yoshiro bowed his head.

"...I won't go without you, Tetsuru..."

She stepped forward and hugged her brother tightly.

They stood there, saying nothing, as Cerberus digested what he had heard...

Cerbie still stayed withen the buses with out saying a word ormoing an muscle I can't belive what I'm hearing! Is it... is it really true? And if it really is... How would Eiji feel? He would probaly feel the same way I do. Cerbie slowed his breathing very carefully, to keep himself calm

Milo exited the roo and closed the door behind him, and sighed "Hopefully she will wake up in a few minutes."

"Milo?"

Milo looked up and saw Mai right in front of him, noticibly concerned "Milo you look exhausted! Why don't you use an spell on yourself to heal?"

"It goes against the rules of m school, if I do so, I could die if the legends are true." Milo clutched his ribs as he felt another sharp pain in his ribs. "I will be fine afyter I rest."

Rikku

IC: I could see words between them yoshiro said something after his sister colapsed but even at this short distance I could not here it. His lips didn't move either he was speaking a language only his sister could understand.

As the coversation went on the language became english as if the two wanted the world to know there troubles; as if they want the world to answer. Even though I didn't have the full knowledge of what they were saying I knew enough to make my desicion. I would help them, but for now I will hide in the bushes. With these two in this state I'm not sure how they would react to any one let alone a close freind like Lea.

Eiji...

Eiji stood silently at the beach, nobody else was there, but thats how Eiji wanted it at the moment. He neded some air to clear his head, and to think. Tetsuru didn't look too good after we got back... I hope she is okay... She looked, scared... Eiji stared at the sea, "It's calm tonight, its not a surprize that its calm in Jameo, its almost always calm, but ts awkwardly calm." Eiji laughed dryly and shook his head "I must be freaking out!"

Momiji shivered on the bed, her breathing becoming harsh as her brow furrowed.

"Nnn... it... it hurts..."

Touji watched her impassionately from the chair by her bed.

"N-No... Lee... I won't... let you die... not anyone.... I...."

The reformed thug grimaced and his fist tightened slightly, his arm resting on the chair as he glanced away.

Won't let anyone die... anyone but yourself, Momiji...?

Yoshiro trudged into the forest, his eyes apparently closed and yet his footsteps sure, his face a solid mask, as expressionless as granite. Behind him, Tetsuru turned to get one last look at the hotel.

"Goodbye, Eiji-chan..."

And then she too was swallowed by the forest.

Lee et Rikku

Lee: I had been paceing back and forth between the room. I need to watch ehr till she recovers then I'm oof to finish Katala for good.

I stop paceing as I hear her breth Speed up. I turn to her and watch her chest move as she takes a normal sized breaths as if sleeping. 'Momi..ji." I simply watch as she mvoes slightly and says something.

She's going to live. I take a quick glance at Touji he can protect her. I obviously only get her into trouble. I took a step over to the window. "Touji keep her safe."

I flew out the window and up into the air. She'll be safe if I stay up here.

Rikku: as Lea: I fallowed the two as they moved threw the woods. Where are they going and why? Did they bring us ehr for a reason? Or did they jsut offer to elt us come. Maybe they thought we'd be able to help until Momiji got hurt. They shouldn't go off in this mind set it'll only get them hurt.

Cerberus watched carefully as Tetsuru and Yoshiro entered the darkest part of the forest. He hesitated following them while he fought against himself and the choices he has before him. "I shold follow them, and when the time is right, convince them to go back." Argued one head

"But I should find Eiji and tell him whats going on... He has an right to know! And besides, there is nobody else I know that would be capable of convincing Tetsuru, and over power Yoshiro if he gets agressive!" Said the one on the right.

"Ludicris! If I don't follow them, Eiji won't know where they are!" Said the one on the left.

"Are you high?! What if it will be too late to tell him then?!"

"Does it look like I care?"

"You should!"

"Well I don't so nah!"

Both heads whimpered and looked at the sky.

"Funny I'm arguing with my self."

"Whoever said two heads are better than one should jump a cliff!"

"Hey, you forget I used to be an regular wolf"[I/]

But after Katala..."

"Oh forget it!" Both heads shook off the seperated opinions and went after Tetsuru and Yoshiro stealthly.

Milo laid down on his bed and put his arms behind his head, he fliched slightly as he felt another sharp pain "They'll stop soon... I hope..." Milo put one hand in the air and let an small charge of energy fly from his hand. An picture of himself and a few other people floated there, smiling. He then put his hand back under his head

"Hokage-Ryu Acadamy... Those days were peaceful.. It has been such an long time then... Then I was sixteen, 2'nd best, and was dating the most popular student in the acadamy... How ironic life is..." Milo thought, his eyes closed for an second, then he opened them again. "Speaking of ironic... Why is that kid Yamanaka Glaring at me whenever I'm around Mai? Its like he has an rivalry against me... But for what freaking reason? Meh... I don't care... I never care..."

Yamanaka bowed his head, sitting in one of the comfy chairs in the darkened lobby. He, in his innocence, had no idea this was where Momiji and Lee had begun young love only a few nights ago; though he was thinking about those same people.

Touji... you were so emotional before, but now you're quiet again. And you won't even look at Lee... what's going to happen? I don't understand... you didn't want Momiji to be your girlfriend, did you? You didn't want to admit to yourself that's what she wanted. So what's up with Lee? I thought he was after... oh, it doesn't matter, because she likes... ugh! None of it matters! It's all so superficial! Somebody almost DIED, and here I am thinking about relationships among us kids!

...or is that not wrong? What really matters, anyway...?

"Ugh," he grunted quietly. "Mai..."

She's so pretty. She's a sweetheart, too... and I think we're getting along okay now. Things are a little odd, but I'm taking care of her, at least. I hope she's okay...

Mai sat on her bed, and held her head in the palms of her hands. Too many things were going through her mind at one time.

Eiji is in an deep depression again... Milo is badly wounded... Cerberus was acting awkward... Momiji is seriously wounded... Touji is acting strange and depressed Lee is depressed, Tetsuru and Yoshiro had disapered, so had Rikku... Mai sharply pulled her head back quickly trying to get rid of her thoughts, her emotions were running wild, and she was gaining an huge head ache.

Does this happen to every teen, or are we different? Arrgh! Why am I still thinking!? Ahh! Somebody this pain!

The ferns and branches seemed to part for the two figures as they walked steadily through the forest, following no visible path but just as sure in their stride. Both figures had their heads down, and yet they never struck anything -- as if guided by the forest itself.

Destiny awaited.

Neither of the two figures spoke, but all the expression they needed was shown through the tight clasp of their hands as they walked. Nothing could tear these two apart... for if something did, they would both fall, now. Now, they needed each other.

Deeper in the forest, by a large boulder beyond the sight of anyone who had traveled here, the two figures stopped at the glinting metal outline of a door.

"Is this it?" one of them said, finally speaking. The voice was soft, musical, and feminine; like the high tone of a silver flute.

"It must be," replied the other, the voice measured and calm and solid as the rock that the door was framed upon.

The larger figure stepped forward and placed his hand on the rock, within the glinting metal outline, and the metal slowly began to glow....

"............................................ Is this why... why we are here?" Cerbie thought as he saw the taller of the two press his hand on the rock. Almost instantly the rock began to glow. "What in the..."

Cerbie taken a step back, then another, careful not to make an sound. *Crack* Cerbie acidently steped on an small twig, the sound was very light and Only somebody with strong could hear it. But Cerbie was carful, so he ducked down and didn't move an muscle.

Rikku

IC: I fallowed them threw the woods with stuning grace I moved between the trees up and under the branches slilently so no one could hear.

I watched the two as they stoped staring at a boulder. There conversation was faint but ofcaorse a cat like me could hear it. After they finished a twig snaped and I looked towards the direction. I saw no one there.

I supose I best go and show myself now. They are in no mind set to enter another cave alone. I steped out from the woods with soft and silent feet. I looked at them.

"Okay if we are here, what is here?" I watched the two. Was this the reason they came? If it was there purpose oon Jameo then they need us and thats why they brought us, looks like they had a change of heart though.

Tetsuru started and turned around, her eyes wide.

"Lea!" she cried, surprised. "Did you follow us? Why?" She bowed her head. "No... we didn't want to involve you in this... especially not after Momiji."

Yoshiro didn't turn around. His head stayed down, the door open in front of him.

"L-Look," said Tetsuru softly, tugging her soft gi around herself, "maybe you should go back... I... don't want you to get hurt..."

Rikku could safely say she had never seen Tetsuru so frightened in all the time they had known each other.

"Go back."

Tetsuru turned to Yoshiro, blinking. The young man's deep voice resonated throughout the forest.

"Go back," he repeated. "Lea, if we don't come back, you take the ship and get out of here, and don't worry about us. But I don't want you getting hurt. You're... you're..."

...you're human.

Yoshiro...

Don't try and stop me, Tetsuru. I'm going to make her leave.

Yoshiro... they are our friends.

He stopped, not saying anything. For the first time since the swimming pool, he was lost for words again. Both brother and sister stood, silent, as the wind rustled through the trees.

"Touji, come on. People are going places, and I don't know where. Tetsuru, Yoshiro, and Lea are all missing. We should find them... I mean, Katala's probably dead, but... I don't know!"

Yamanaka looked at his older brother pleadingly.

"I'm staying," Touji whispered, his eyes fixed on Momiji as she lay, unconscious, in the bed. "I'm going to make sure she's safe. I won't abandon her again."

"Then I'll go," said Yamanaka stoutly. "Are you going to let me go alone? Your little brother?"

"Yes."

Yamanaka stared.

"You're strong enough now, Yamanaka," continued Touji. "I've seen you fight. Take the rest of them with you and go. Momiji and I will stay."

"Y-Yeah," whispered Yamanaka gently, unsure whether to be hurt or proud. "I'll... go find Mai."

Shutting the door behind him, he walked to Mai's room, his visage troubled as his mind tumbled with worry. He rapped on the door.

"Mai? It's Yamanaka. Yoshiro, Tetsuru, and Lea are all missing... I think we ought to go look for them... I'll go alone if you want to stay, because my brother wants to be with Momiji, but I personally think something is wrong... will you come with me? Please?"

Unconsciously, he brushed his hair back dashingly and straightened his shirt. He wanted to look good for Mai, of course!

"She's resting" said an voice off in an short distance "you have better not bother her, alot of stress has been geting to her today..." Milo said in an low tone, his glasses that he rarely wore gleemed in the dark. He leaned to the wall and stayed there as if he was gaurding the area, keeping his eyes on Yamanaka.

Yamanaka opened the door at the sound of Milo's voice, and seeing him there, his eyes narrowed.

Milo! Rrrr...! What the hell is he doing in HER room!?

"I see. Thanks."

The young man, his voice flinty, turned around and left, closing the door firmly behind him.

That punk. Who does he think he is? I've known Mai for far longer! We've been enemies since childhood! That no-good, busybody jerk... Rrrrr...!

Well... I should at least find Eiji... where could he be?

Milo sight as the door shut behind him. For some reason, he wasn't all too happy I was here... Milo taken a look at Mai, who was curled up into an ball, and sobbing. Milo walked over to Mai and sat down on the bed. "Mai... Will you be all right?" Milo asked as he carefully rubbed Mai's back, trying to ease her pain.

"I'll... I'll be fine." She said, not moving an muscle. "Milo... Do me an favor..."

"Hmm? What is it?"

"Find Eiji, he has been acting weird lately, and I'm not sure what he would do in his state of mind right now..."

Milo stood up, still not taking his eyes off of her. "Are you sure you're ok?" Mai nodded slightly. "Okay... I'll be back as soon as I can..." He said as he opened the door. Before he left, he taken another glance torwards Mai in her weakened form. Is it the after effect of the battle with Katala? Or something else? Milo then closed the door behind him.

Lea

IC: His voice echoed trhew the woods and moved into my mind. It was a simple comand, prehaps if I cared for him I would be more inclined to lsiten but the fact of the matter is he had sex with Lea and not me.

"I go on one boat trip with you and you think that you can order me around?" I look at him his back still turned and his head lowered. "I control myself and while you may not ask for my help you sound like you need it. Nothing you can say will stop me from doing as I feel I need to do."

I look at Tetsuru "Give your brother a few minutes of fun and he thinks he owns me. How do you put up with that." I crossed my arms and looked at her. "Momji... it was a bad injury... she'll recover but you may not. You need some one that can heal you and I fit the task."

It's almost a shame too, Lee's odd curse lets him heal quickly thats why he's so hard to kill. Lea is an avatar but Lee doesn't know that yet, nor any one now but me. Had I more skill with magic prehaps the spell would of worked right and Lea would be at her full power but then again Lee would be dead. I supose thats why I care for him, I have to repay him for my crimes agaisnt him.

Tetsuru's eyes widened, and then she smirked triumphantly, glancing back at Yoshiro.

"Few minutes of fun, hmm?" said his sister, grinning.

Yoshiro blushed.

Laughing softly, and thus breaking the heavy sadness cloaking their conversation, Tetsuru turned back to Rikku, finally smiling again. "Thank you, Lea. If you're willing to help... then we won't stop you."

She bowed slightly, her eyes shut tightly for some reason.

"...thank you..."

Unnoticed, a tear trickled down her cheek.

Yamanaka stormed out of the hotel, unable to find Eiji anywhere.

Damn... where is that kid!? Stupid Milo... and Mai... rrr, I don't need them anyway! I'll just find Eiji myself!

After wandering for a few more minutes in the general area of the hotel, checking out the outskirts of the forest and then moving towards the waterfront, he finally saw Eiji off in the horizon, standing at the beach, obviously thinking to himself.

"Eiji!" cried Yamanaka, running towards him, elated. "Eiji, I need your help! Tetsuru and Yoshiro have gone off somewhere, and so has Lea! There's nobody else to go after them..." Finally reaching Eiji, Yamanaka leaned over, panting softly. "You've gotta come with me and follow them, in case something's wrong! I've got a really bad feeling about this....!"

Rikku as Lea

IC: Well maybe he lasted longer then a few minutes or maybe even less who knows. Well I guess he does and Lee does but thats there own private problem.

"So now tell me what I jsut got myself into Tetsuru. Why did you bring us all here?"

Eiji turned back torwards the water. He said nothing and didn't move an Muscle. *Sigh!* Now what!? Eiji turned to Yamanaka, "Ok... I'm comming." He said in an low tone, he wasn't in an happy mood at the moment.
