Jacob Stacey 25 years old
6’2 195 pounds
Brown Hair and Brown eyes with a runner’s body.

He recently graduated law school and passed the bar to become a lawyer. He moved a bit farther away from family than he liked to get on with a good paying firm.

Jacob has been married for 4 years. His wife, Lisa, was supportive as he worked through college. The payoff was him making through law school and then getting hired with a good firm. They purchased an expensive house of course and made sure to have brand new SUV and Porsche in the garage. For Jacob, he was not quite too happy with his student loans even though he had a partial scholarship. They had their fights.

They had baby boy James, 2 years after marrying. Their son was 2 when they moved in.

With all the bills, Lisa was forced to take a job in Marketing and Sales. She got her degree in that field when she met Jacob going to the university.

The issue persisted that they needed daycare for their son. As luck would have it, Jacob had a niece that was going to be going to the local university where they were living at. Jacob convinced her to come over and watch James, while using their home computer to study and relax.

Story:
He drove over to pick his niece up to babysit. He gave her a hug.
"Nice to see my favorite niece." He said smiling.

"I am going to bet you fall in love with your cousin." he added smiling.

"No arguments about how much I pay you for babysitting unless it is not enough. I know school is expensive young lady." He said opening her car door and walking around to his door then getting in.

Cari was just starting her freshman year of college, and she was excited to be away from home for the first time. On the other hand, it was good to have someone to turn to when she ran into trouble, and her uncle Jacob seemed almost desperate to have a babysitter. Since she was family, she volunteered. Since she had no money to speak of, and didn't want to start racking up debts, she was happy when he offered to pay her.
She hadn't seen him since she was young, and she was surprised by how cute he was. She had grown up a lot too, and was now a ripe young woman. She was 5'6" 36d 24 36 with blonde hair and blue eyes. She had worn a pair of jeans and a tight sweater to meet him, and when he hugged her, she squeezed him tight.
It was good to have a member of the family around, so she could relax and not worry as much about making an impression.

He patted his nieces leg as he talked.
“Cari…you are even more beautiful than your mother at your age. Did you know that your mother baby sat me before she dated your father?” He said smiling about his sister in law. He laughed.

“I still kid your kid your dad to this day if I was only older I would have gotten the babysitter rather than him.” He added smiling.

“If you need anything…don’t hesitate. That is what family is for. I have to say I wish I lived closer to our family back east but I had to take this job. I am at least happy you are here…and there is nothing I won’t do for my favorite niece.” He stated while driving.

They finally arrived at the house. Immediately tension must have been felt between Jacob and his wife, Lisa. She walked out without saying as much as two words.

“Sorry Cari…we are going through a rough patch you might say. I’ll make sure it doesn’t affect you or helping us out.” Jacob said a bit flustered by his wife’s inappropriateness.

He took her in and showed her James.

She was glad that her uncle was cool, she thought. She hadn't thought about it before, because he was just family, but she hadn't really seen him since she was a little kid. She had liked him then, though he had been a teenager and interested in different things by that time. Now he was grown up, married with a baby, and she was in college.

"It's so weird," she murmured aloud. "Thinking about mom and dad dating, but I guess they weren't born married."

She was impressed by the size of his house. She hadn't known what to expect, with him just out of law school, but he was obviously doing well, and her eyes popped wide as they went in. Before she could say anything, thoiugh, Jacob's wife swept by, without even a hello. Just a sneer, and Cari frowned. She hadn't been there long enough to do anything wrong.

"Oh, I see," she said when Jacob explained. "That really sucks. It seems like you guys have so much, she should be happy, right?"

Before they could say anything more on the subject, he introduced her to James. She wasn't usually the type to get all gooshy over babies, but James was so cute that she caught herself making faces at him and talking in a cutesy little babytalk as she introduced herself. "Hi handsome," she said. "I'm your cousin Cari, and I'm going to look after you when your mom and dad are at work, OK? We're going to have so much fun!"

She blushed then, looking up at Jacob. "I'm not usually like that," she said. She wasn't sure why it was suddenly so important that he see her as a woman.

"It's so weird," she murmured aloud. "Thinking about mom and dad dating, but I guess they weren't born married."

“No…they weren’t born married but their time dating was so natural for them that it wasn’t a matter if…but when they would get married.” He replied with a smile.

He was showing her the house as his wife left with a sneer.

"Oh, I see," she said when Jacob explained. "That really sucks. It seems like you guys have so much, she should be happy, right?"

“Money and luxuries are not everything. I would have preferred a smaller house till I got established.” He said while walking with her.

“And here is James…” He said smiling. “Here is your cute cousin, Cari. She is going to be your babysitter young man.” He said smiling at both.

"Hi handsome," she said. "I'm your cousin Cari, and I'm going to look after you when your mom and dad are at work, OK? We're going to have so much fun!"

She blushed then, looking up at Jacob. "I'm not usually like that," she said.

“Well if this was a job interview…that last part would have nailed what I would be looking for.” He said smiling. ”You have my office and cell number. Don’t hesitate to call me if you need anything. You are welcome to anything in the kitchen. I turned my computer on if you want to use it.” He added.

“Is there anything else I can do? Any questions?” He asks.

She stood up and bit her lip, trying to think of anything she should ask, but the letter he had sent gave pretty detailed directions about his food, and nap. Everything seemed pretty clear. She shrugged her shoulders, and shook her head. She was set to play with the kid for a while, and then get some homework done. She had to schedule her classes at night, so she could be here during the day, but she hadn't realized quite how far from campus they were.

"I think I'm all set," she said. She looked at him, and remembered the sad look that had flashed on his face when he spoke of his wife. She picked a loose thread off his shirt, thinking his wife should have been paying closer attention. Men just couldn't be trusted to watch those details. "Unless there's anything you need. It doesn't look like anyone's doing much to take care of you."

"I think I'm all set," she said.

She picked a loose thread off his shirt, as eh smiled.
"Unless there's anything you need. It doesn't look like anyone's doing much to take care of you."

“Well I certainly appreciate you taking care of the men of this house.” He said with a big grin. He gave her a hug.

“I will be in some meetings today but no court. So I might sneak out early depending on how the meetings go.” He said smiling.

He kissed his son and left for work. It was a easy day as most of the cases he was involved in ended with settlements. He did in fact go home early. He had an envelope in hand. It was the results of an investigator he hired through the firm.

He walked inside and laid the unopened envelope on the table.
“Cari…I am home. Just checking how it went.” He said as he looked around then opened the envelope and sighed as he saw what he suspected.

He forced a smile as his niece came out. He put the pictures back in the envelope. He left the envelope on the table as he went over to see his son.

The day had gone by slowly, but Cari had gotten her schoolwork done and taken a nice long walk with James. She was playing with him out in the backyard when she heard Jacob and went in to say hello. He was looking at something when she came in, and had a strange, fake smile on his face. Then he went over to James and picked him up, and she saw the envelope on the counter.

"It was a great day," she said, looking at him, wondering what was wrong.

"How was your day?" she asked. "Bad news?" She never meant to be nosey, it was just the way she was, and the contents of the envelope had spilled out. She was curious what had put him in such a mood, and wenmt over to seee what it was without thinking.

"It was a great day," she said, He smiled.

“That’s wonderful.” He replied.

"How was your day?" she asked. "Bad news?"

He just smiled and went to hold his son for a bit.
“Oh just a regular day Cari….a lot of settlements…so less court time. Not a bad thing.” He replied as he held his son.

“Well not good stuff but I was expecting as much. Sorry like I said…I am not happy about you being around the drama in this house. I am thrilled to have you here though Cari.” He added.

His mind was on the damning photos of his wife and her boss going in and out of a motel room. Even a photo before the curtain was drawn of them undressing and kissing. He knew confronting her was not going to be any short of the biggest blowout yet.

"I'm so glad I came," she said. "I never would have had an opportunity like this anywhere...."
She looked at the picture that slipped out of the envelope. It was of Jacob's wife, kissing another man. It was grainy, and shot through a window, but it was clear what it was. She looked up at him, and he didn't seem to have noticed. She slipped the picture back in the envelope, suddenly unsure what to do. At least she understood the reason for his mood.
She couldn't imagine what he must be feeling, but she knew that he would be hurting. She went over to him and put her arms around him, squeezing him.
"Uncle Jacob," she said. "I know I'm just supposed to be helping with James and that sort of thing, but if you ever need to talk or something, I'm here for you. I wouldn't be able to go to a college nearly this good if it weren't for your help, and whatever I can do..."

"I'm so glad I came," she said. "I never would have had an opportunity like this anywhere...."

“I wouldn’t feel as comfortable with anyone except family to watch James. I think he has taken to you really well. Not sure he will have an opportunity to crush on you like I did with your mom…but I am willing to bet he will always have a twinkle in his eye for you from bonding like this.” He replied and put James down with a kiss on his forehead.

He walked out back to the kitchen table.

"Uncle Jacob," she said. "I know I'm just supposed to be helping with James and that sort of thing, but if you ever need to talk or something, I'm here for you. I wouldn't be able to go to a college nearly this good if it weren't for your help, and whatever I can do..."

“I appreciate Cari. I don’t know what will happen but I assure you that I will count on you to help with James. And its like I am giving a handout….you are family and I would do anything for you. I love your parents and also love you very much.” He replied somberly and forced a smile.

He took the envelope and put in the home office. His wife came home in a mood as she had left in. He got her to go into the home office and then voices were raised in a big argument. The words Marriage Counseling or Divorce was shouted so maybe even the neighbors could hear. Jacob came out and grabbed his coat as neither him or Lisa looked at each other.

“Cari…I can take you back to the campus in time for your classes.” He said with a smile for her at least.

She nodded, gathering her books and shoving them into her bag quickly. If the scene between Jacob and Lisa had been tense this morning, it was far worse now. Cari wasn't even involved, but she wanted to get out of there as quick as she could. How it must be for Jacob she could barely imagine, and poor James who couldn't possibly understand it. She sighed with relief as they stepped out. Just having a door between the two of them seemed to ease the tension, and she looked at Jacob.

"I'm so sorry," she said, and before they got in the car she threw her arms around him, hugging him tight. The picture she had seen made it pretty obvious what the source of tension between them was, but she couldn't imagine why Lisa would cheat on him. Cari knew any girl would see him as a catch.

"You're such a good man," she said, trying to make him feel better. "So kind, so handsome, so successful. She doesn't deserve you."

She let go then, smiling at him sweetly, and got in the car.

"I know I'm just 18 and you think I probably wouldn't understand, but you can talk about it with me if you need to. I already emailed my assignment, I can tell the professor there was an emergency or something."

"I'm so sorry," she said, and before they got in the car she threw her arms around him, hugging him tight.

“I appreciate Cari…I am just sorry you are coming in with this around.” He said somberly.

"You're such a good man," she said, "So kind, so handsome, so successful. She doesn't deserve you."

“Well sometimes you have to look in the mirror for a reality check. I knew we growing apart after the university when I went to law school. I knew when I passed the bar and got hired by the firm…our outlooks for the future were no longer the same.” He replied forcing a smile.

She let go then, smiling at him sweetly, and got in the car.

"I know I'm just 18 and you think I probably wouldn't understand, but you can talk about it with me if you need to. I already emailed my assignment, I can tell the professor there was an emergency or something."

“Maybe we can grab a cup of coffee or slice of pie. I think if we sit and talk…a restaurant might be better than cramped up in this SUV.” He replied with a smile. He put the vehicle into reverse and started driving.

He patted her leg.
“I appreciate everything you are doing Cari…not just for James but also being a sympathetic ear for me. This may be a tougher time than I thought…I told her we needed marriage counseling. I don’t know that will be the fix for me. I know trust will always be an issue. She didn’t agree to it anyways…she said would think about it.” He said with a sigh.

As they drove to the restaurant, he started talking. She listened closely, putting her hand on the back of his neck. He rested his on her thigh, and for a moment, they seemed so close and intimate, it was as if he was about to kiss her. She blushed, reminding herself that not only was he married, but he was her uncle. There was no way he would kiss her, and even if he did, it would be wrong.

"I can't believe she wouldn't want to try anything to fix it," she said. Counseling seemed a little strange to her. She had never known anyone who had been in counseling, but it had to be better than letting the marriage fall apart. "I just can't imagine why she would hurt you like that. Doesn't she love you?"

She tried to think what she knew about Lisa, but there wasn't much. They had gotten married when she was young, and all she remembered was how beautiful everything looked, and how lucky she thought Lisa was. She had even been a little jealous, but she had never imagined it would be like this.

"You know you don't have to thank me," she said. "Even if I didn't owe you a favor for helping me with school and stuff, you're family. No matter what, I'm here for you, OK? Please don't worry about using me for whatever you need."

He smiled as she put her hand on the back of his neck.
"I can't believe she wouldn't want to try anything to fix it," she said. "I just can't imagine why she would hurt you like that. Doesn't she love you?"

“Some people change Cari. Your goals and desires change I guess. I didn’t become a lawyer for the money…I did it because I want to help people. I originally wanted to be a public defender or prosecutor…but as time went on I knew Lisa wanted the big house and expensive car. That wasn’t who I met at the university my sophomore year.” he replied

He parked and took her hand walking into the restaurant.
“I will get an answer tomorrow. I am just sorry for you to be around this drama.” He said just before they went inside.

"You know you don't have to thank me," she said. "Even if I didn't owe you a favor for helping me with school and stuff, you're family. No matter what, I'm here for you, OK? Please don't worry about using me for whatever you need."

He smiled and hugged her.
“You have your mother’s beauty and then some…I would probably rank you at least .5 above her. Don’t tell her that. But then you have your father’s family loyalty and ability to make someone feel better. He seemed to always be there for people in the family when I was growing up.” He said smiling.

“I think you got the best of each of your parents.” He added kissing her cheek before releasing the hug and going inside.

He sat and chatted with her for a good couple hours before he drove her back to the dorms. He walked her to the door of her building.
“Cari…your support means everything to me.” He said as he hugged her.

She squeezed him tight, wishing she could do more for him. He was being so sweet to her, even despite what was going on, and everything he was saying just made her angrier at Lisa. She obviously had something wrong with her, to betray a man like him. And now, he would go back to that house, and that hateful woman. She kissed him on the cheek and squeezed him again.

"Uncle Jacob," she said. "I'm so sorry for everything you're going through. I swear, if there's anything you need, I'm right here. You have my number. Even if you're just, you know, wanting some company or something. You deserve so much better than how she's doing you."

She imagined how it would be to be his wife, and she just felt angrier. Lisa should have realized how lucky she was. Jacob was one of the best men Brittney knew, and the stupid cow was treating him like garbage. If only he weren't her uncle, she thought, she'd be halfway in love with him already.

"I hate her," she said softly, and as she said it, she knew it was jealousy as much as what Lisa was doing to Jacob. Brittney blushed and took a step back. "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow."

“Cari, I already feel that I am asking much more than I deserve to put on your shoulders. I ache because I know I will ask more. I know it is a matter of time before I divorce…I won’t let her have my son. Yet, it won’t be any easier to take care of him alone.” He replied somberly.

"I hate her," she said softly, "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow."

He smiled and gave her one more hug before taking a step.
“Yes…I will see you bright and early tomorrow. I imagine Lisa will be gone early…so we can maybe enjoy a little breakfast before I head to the office.” He said with a smile.

He got back in his car and dreaded going home except to see his son. He had thoughts of how wonderful and nice Cari was. She was always excited when he was around but that was a excited young girl. Now she is a very full grown woman and extremely attractive at that. If it wasn’t being her uncle, he would certainly have had inappropriate thoughts with his situation. He was angry and hurt with Lisa…while this young lady was attentive and caring offering a shoulder to cry on and asking to listen to him.

He drove home and barely spoke to Lisa. He of course slept on the couch. As morning came he showered and got ready. He looked at his wife before asking “Well?”. She in turn told him she would get her things moved out by the weekend. She wasn’t going to break off the affair with her boss. The argument escalated. Child custody rights and alimony were firmly on the table. Jacob went as far as taking his son in the SUV to pick up Cari.
“Good morning sunshine.” He said forcing a smile and good attitude.

“Umm…I am going to need to a bit more. I am putting the house up for sale and will look for a 3 bedroom condo or something quite a bit more manageable. Lisa wants the divorce.” He added as she got in the SUV.

The next morning, Cari wore shorts and a tanktop under her sweater. She knew she'd get pretty warm running after James, and she wanted to be comfortable. She knew the shorts were a little tight and left a little of her ass bare, but no more than a lot of girls wore every day. She was out to meet her uncle early, and ran up to the car when he pulled up.

“Good morning sunshine.” He said, but she could see that he was forcing his smile. He looked as if he hadn't slept at all, and she felt her heart breaking for the pain he must be feeling.

“Umm…I am going to need to a bit more. I am putting the house up for sale and will look for a 3 bedroom condo or something quite a bit more manageable. Lisa wants the divorce.”

"Of course," she said. "Anything I can do, Uncle Jacob. I'm here for you." She leaned across the seat and hugged him, awkwardly. She kissed his cheek and sat back as they started to drive, looking at him with her eyes wide. There was nothing she could do for him, except be there for him, she thought, and then what he said struck her.

"Three bedroom? You want me to move in?" She wasn't sure why it startled her. If he had custody, he'd need a lot more help. Maybe it was just that the idea seemed so exciting. Like they would be a family. Like she would be James mom, and Jacob's wife. She blushed at the idea and bit her lip.

"I mean, of course you would need someone full time," she said, realizing that she had made it sound funny. "Of course I'll do whatever works best for you."

"Of course," she said. "Anything I can do, Uncle Jacob. I'm here for you." She leaned across the seat and hugged him, awkwardly. She kissed his cheek .

He started the SUV and started driving.
“I know it’s a lot to ask but…” He said.

"Three bedroom? You want me to move in?"

“Well I need to show I have the extra help to take care of James.” He stated.

"I mean, of course you would need someone full time," she said, "Of course I'll do whatever works best for you."

He patted her hand.
“Cari…I also want what is best for you. I know its too late to get your money back for the semester for your dorm housing. But, it will be one less thing you will have to worry about next semester and so on if you think it will work.” He stated and smiled at her.

“I know this is a lot…and seriously I don’t want you to mess up your schooling. So, if living with me and James is a good thing then I would be forever grateful. Your babysitting money will appropriately go up…I insist so don’t argue. With moving out of the house…I will of course be saving a lot of money with or without child support from the wicked witch of the west.” He stated with a laugh and patter her knee.

He continued to drive them home and parked in the garage.
“One of the partners of my firm had a condo on the bulletin board that he was selling. His elderly parents lived in it before moving to Arizona. It isn’t far from the office or your university. So, it shouldn’t be hard to coordinate both of us using the SUV until I get another car down the road.” he stated as they walked inside and he put James in his crib.

He hugged Cari.
“Thanks for all you are doing.” He said with a genuine smile.

"I appreciate you putting your personal life on hold. Although I bet a lot of the college guys aren't." He adds with a smile.

She blushed at his remark about guys, because she had just broken things off with a guy she had been seeing for a few weeks. He had been against her working full time for her uncle, and had finally given her an ultimatum. She didn't tell him that, though. She wasn't bothered by it. In fact, she was excited about the idea of being her uncle's full time nanny. She grinned at the idea, and thought of how nice it would be taking care of him and James.

"Really, Uncle Jacob," she said. "I don't mind. It'll give me time to sort out what I want to do and all that. I can just take evening classes, so I'll go when you're already home from work. It'll be great, you'll see."

She walked in beside him with an extra bounce in her step. When they got to the house, she swooped up her cousin and tickled him til he was screaming with laughter, and then picked him up and carried him into the room where Jacob was.

"James and I talked about it," she said. "He says it's OK."

"Really, Uncle Jacob," she said. "I don't mind. It'll give me time to sort out what I want to do and all that. I can just take evening classes, so I'll go when you're already home from work. It'll be great, you'll see."

“Well I am indebted. You are sacrificing a lot for me. So, I just ask that you don’t lose sight of what it is you want and want to do during your college life experience.” He replies.

She picked him up and carried him into the room where Jacob was.
"James and I talked about it," she said. "He says it's OK."

“He is just a sucker for cute babysitter like his father was. Of course I was a bit older.” Jacob said with a laugh.

‘What will it be for breakfast?” He asks her as he grabs a pan and then opens the refrigerator and gets out the milk and juice.

He smiles as he puts the milks and juice on the table. He gives her another hug after she sets James down. He kisses her cheek.
“I know you keep saying that you are happy to help…since we are family but I still appreciate. This shouldn’t have become your problem Cari. I will make other arrangements should this interfere with your college studies or anything else for you.” He states.

“Okay? Yes…I am very pleased to how James has taken to you. I have to say I will like it as well to have you around…at least mornings then after your classes in the evenings and weekends.” He adds with a smile.

She smiled as she set James down and walked into the center of the kitchen, by the stove. She gave him a little hip-bump and winked when he kissed her cheek, trying not to show how awkward it made her feel.

"I'm supposed to be taking care of you," she said. "So why don't I make breakfast? I make a pretty tasty cheese omelet, I'm told."

She turned on the burner and opened the fridge, leaning down to look for butter, her little shorts riding high up on her ass. She felt a little twinge inside as she wondered if her uncle was checking her out, and gave a quick glance. She stood up, a bit flustered, and cut a pat of butter into the warming skillet. As she cracked eggs, she could hardly look at Jacob. If he wasn't her uncle, she would have sworn she had a crush on him, but she told herself it was just family. Her father had always said it was the only thing that really mattered, and she had always believed him.

"I know you don't want me to give anything up to help you, uncle Jacob," she said, as she poured the egg batter into the skillet. "I promise you, I won't miss living in a run down dormitory and sharing a room with a girl who likes to end every Saturday night puking in a bucket. Besides, I'm madly in love with James. If you didn't let me live with you, I'd have to kidnap him."

She sprinkled cheese into the omelette and deftly folded it. She was finally able to look up at her uncle, though she felt her cheeks flush a hot red when she met his eye. He was so handsome, she almost forgot what she was doing.

"The truth is that I really want this," she said. "I want to stay with you and help with James. I do feel like I should and I do need the money, but those aren't why I want to help. I just like being with you guys better than being at school.

"I'm supposed to be taking care of you," she said. "So why don't I make breakfast? I make a pretty tasty cheese omelet, I'm told."

He laughed and backed away.
“No mainly you are taking care of James…I think your just taking over the responsibility to take care of me. Like I said…you have the best qualities of your mother and father along with some they don’t even possess.” He replied with a smile.

He sat down and watched her take over cooking. She had a great figure no denying that. In those shorts…he wished she was his wife and he would have gotten up and all but taken her on the kitchen counter, with even more vigor than he had ever done with Lisa early in their marriage and prior.

"I know you don't want me to give anything up to help you, uncle Jacob," she said, "I promise you, I won't miss living in a run down dormitory and sharing a room with a girl who likes to end every Saturday night puking in a bucket. Besides, I'm madly in love with James. If you didn't let me live with you, I'd have to kidnap him."

“Well as good as you are with James and good to me…it is a mute point. I would gladly kidnap you to have you around all the time. Besides James…you are the main reason I am able to smile at all lately.” He replied with a light laugh.

H watched her prepare the omelets as he stood up and walked toward her.

"The truth is that I really want this," she said. "I want to stay with you and help with James. I do feel like I should and I do need the money, but those aren't why I want to help. I just like being with you guys better than being at school.”

“I am forever in debt to you, Cari. I know we will get this rough patch but this means everything to me. Knowing James is taken care of…being able to concentrate on my work to move up someday in the firm…the peace of mind you are giving me through this, I will never be able to repay.” He states and turns her around and hugs her.

He gives her a peck on the cheek as he releases her and smiles.
“So…I am going to check on that condo when I get work and see if I can take a few days off to hire movers. I hope to have a place by Saturday. I figured we could get your stuff in the morning and move in…then you would have the weekend to get settled.” He stated.

It was on his mind that his attraction was growing for his niece. She was both physically attractiv ebut all she was doing and being sympathetic was also weighing on his feelings for her. Even a simple hug was giving him a strange sensation. If he was a stronger frame of mind he might have been able to throw a red flag a time or two.

She stared at him in surprise. The only time she had moved in her life was coming to college, which had taken months of applying and waiting for financial aid forms to be processed. When Jacob had talked about her moving into a condo with him, she had imagined it would be at some distant time, months in the future, but now he was talking about....

"The day after tomorrow?" Her eyes opened wide with surprise. Things were happening fast, and it was exciting. She didn't think about it, but she jumped up and threw her arms around his neck. Her legs went around his waist, and she felt him stumble as she threw him off balance. She let her feet fall to the floor, and giggled nervously. "I'm sorry, I just didn't think it would be so soon. Oh my God, I can't wait to get out of that nasty dorm!"

There was something in the way that he was looking at her, she realized, as she calmed down a little. Something that made her shiver in excitement. It was almost as if he were checking her out, but that didn't make sense. She was his niece, after all. She brushed her hair back, suddenly nervous, wishing for something she knew was just wrong.

"The day after tomorrow?"

“Is that too soon? I can probably wait some if needed.” He replied and paused.

“I mean I first need to get the place…I am not sure it is available. But I do need to show I have help for the custody battle for James.” He added.

She jumped up and threw her arms around his neck. Her legs went around his waist. He laughed as he stumbled. Once he regained his balance her feet drifted to the floor soon after.

She giggled nervously. "I'm sorry, I just didn't think it would be so soon. Oh my God, I can't wait to get out of that nasty dorm!"

“As long as you don’t think it will be an issue. I am also excited to have you around more much less living with us.” He replied.

He finished breakfast and gave her a big long hug then peck on the check.
“I will call you from the office once I know something.” He said with a smile.

His thoughts were mainly of his niece, Cari as he drove. Even this whole divorce thing had seemingly become a secondary thought compared to the images of how young and beautiful his niece was. He knew that was on the perverted side to think of Cari in that way. Yet he felt he couldn’t help but have those thoughts. Then he said to himself, they are only thoughts…totally harmless.

He arrived at the office and immediately talked to Mr. Tate. He closed the man’s door and explained his situation once Mr. Tate advised he was still looking to sell the condo. He agreed to let Jacob move in immediately. He then suggested he take the rest of the day off to get his house on the market and arrangements for moving into the condo much less the bank to finalize the financing on the condo. He told Jacob to call him if he has any issues with the bank. Jacob shook his hand and walked back to run those errands.

He called Cari and told her that it was set.
“Its all set. I am actually taking the day off to run the errands to make it happen. Maybe after lunch when James has had his nap…I can pick you two up and you can go with me to check out the place.” He said with a happy tone.
