A huge category, a lot of variations already exist.
so why not more?

I see three categories broadly:

• the DIY home handyman (or woman). presumably the activity triggers lust in an onlooker. Most likely a family member. could be a neighbour. Or...
• The buddy who comes over to help
  • does this lead to same sex?
  • group sex?
    • maybe in the hot tub?
  • loving wives sex as the wife of the guy who couldn't do it "rewards" the guy (or gal) who could?
  • [your suggestion here]
• the pro who gets called in
  • the classic, typically done for indoor repairs like a plumber, but I'm thinking more like a whole new kitchen, or bathroom. Carpentry, hammering down walls. Cabinetry.
    • or could be exterior renovations, but thinking project. anything from fixing the broken spigot to a whole new wing or second storey. enough room to build a great story of lust and libido.

I've seen at least one story where the carpenter (I think) who is doing renovations realizes he's building a sex dungeon. (Windowless room, good ventilation, soundproof ....)

Fertile ground and a classic trope. There is nothing more bow-chicka-wow-wow than the burly plumber and a bored housewife.
Maybe a lucky couple are having their home renovated Chip and Joanna Gaines style. Create an ensemble cast. The hosts, the interior decorator, the landscape guy, the electrician, the general contractor. Of course, there's a couple of hot but very handy women in the cast, to interest the male demographic. The cast is very used to fooling around in trailers or hotel rooms, and normally the homeowners aren't involved, but this pair are very good looking.

I inverted the typical plumber trope in my The Plumbers Crack, which featured a nubile female plumber. In Chapter One the wife tells hubby all about her lesbionic encounter, with hubby/wife play of course. Chapter Two featured the inevitable threesome.
Both have done well. Chapter One is my nineth best rated story.

Widowed man is finally ready to let go of his house. His wife's niece has been coming over to check on him and make sure he's eating after his wife's death is also pretty handy with a set of tools. So the pair of them work together to fix up the house for selling, which is when their relationship deepens into something more.

Alternately, widowed woman's late husband's nephew comes over to check on her, and do those repair jobs that her husband never got around to. And eventually, winds up filling some holes that he hadn't been filling in a while either.

One of my friends and his wife bought a house out in the suburbs about a couple of years ago, and I went and visited so he could show it off. It was an older house that had an addition built onto it in the 80s or 90s, and they kept calling it "the family room."

But... It had a fireplace, a mini bar, and the walls that faced outwards from the property didn't have any windows. The only windows were facing inwards towards sort of a courtyard space between the house and the garage.

Also, there were hardpoints installed in the ceiling, like two or three of them, big obvious bolts drilled into the joists.

And I was like... "I think this was a swingers pad." And they got mad at me and told me I was wrong!

Cindy has always wanted a spiffy, new kitchen. Her house was forty years old and it showed, especially in the kitchen were she both cooked and entertained. She hired a contractor and his team of three came in the following week to demolish, then rebuild her most valued space.

She worked from home duing the week, enjoying the sounds of talking and laughter when the power tools weren't in use. The crew was full of attractive men, all of whom gave her a lot of attention whenever she popped in for an impromptu inspection.

On the final day of work, she decided they needed a bonus for their terrific work. And not in cash...
