Washington (CNN)The first 2020 presidential debate Tuesday night in Cleveland featured an avalanche of lies from President Donald Trump -- while Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was largely accurate in his statements, though he did make some false or misleading claims.

There were times, particularly during the conclusion of the debate, when almost every comment from Trump was inaccurate. Most of his false claims were ones he's made before and which have been repeatedly fact-checked and found to be false, rather than one-time slips or gaffes.

not a chance, unless he somehow manages to get re-elected and strips out all honest historians, replaces them with unqualified trumpites, has them rewrite historical facts and generally turns the usa into a dictatorship where his rule isn't term-limited and his family will succeed to power in his dynasty

It's not really subjective, objective yes. Almost every lie the donald has uttered has been fact-checked and found to be just that, a lie. Ain't nothing anywhere near 'subjective' in that.

And as far as comparing him to others who lie, pick one, anyone, anywhere at any time in history. If there is one thing the donald is, he's an expert at spinning a baldfaced fabrication, and when caught, tap dancing around his own lie with another. I think mayhaps he ought to be presented with a certificate for Doctor of Prevarication. He's earned it, thrice over.

No....but that just makes him like every other human. What I do think he's honest about is his love for the relatively liberal USA and desire to keep it as such..... and his distain for the authoritarian left. That I do think he is honest about.

Depends on who's "history" you read.

Same as today, the US founding fathers.....revered by many as radical liberal visionaries who did incredible things to start what would become the greatest western liberalism experiment of all time, the USA.

OOOOOR....if you're "Woke" they were the most evil scum that ever existed, their monuments/history/nation should be torn down and their memory erased from human history. They are in fact so fucking evil every member of humanity that shares their skin color MUST be punished for their sins.
