OOC: Just wanted to post something insignificant, yet to let ya'll know I am alive! Hi Imp
With the morning light making its way over the weird horizon so sat Xandra having not slept a wink, keeping guard against anything that may choose to harm her and the Doctor.
She had routinely checked his bandages and made sure they were kept clean in case of infection.
She was beginning to worry that he might never wake up. He hadn’t made a sound or moved all those long hours in the night. She hadn’t left his side and badly needed to stretch her legs.
Gingerly, she uncrossed them from being in Indian style. The pins and needles were causing her to pause and wince. “Just great” she said into the humid air. Her legs felt wobbly as she stood up straight.
She took a step, testing her mobility. And then another one until she had completely circled the Doctor. Xandra felt ridiculous as she looked around before doing some warm up exercises with her legs. Stretching them by lunging forward as if she were in the sport called fencing.
Walking to the nearest tree, Xandra placed a foot flat down against the side of the trunk, stretching her calf and thigh muscles and repeated with the other leg. Much better she thought, walking back to the Doctor.
She checked his pulse and found it to be a healthy and normal. Her belly grumbled from the lack of food. When was the last time she ate, she wondered. Shrugging off the growing hunger within her, Xandra continued to stand pondering what her next action would be.
