Kass could only smile as she piled 3 pancakes on her plate and smothered them in butter and syrup.She knew to Bram she must look like a kid in a candy store, with a bite she smiled at him. "Absolutely yummy," she smirked.

"Haha," she said in mock laughter at his comment, Soon she had finished eating, picking up her plate and empty ones on the table she went to start cleaning in the kitchen.
"I've worked out a nice setlist I think. Need to rehearse it more, but I like what I've got so far. I just need to find a couple good venues."
Bram finished with the national news and casually looked through the local section, mostly looking for ads and chuckling at the editorials.

Kass smiled, "Well If I can help you know I will," she said as she sat down, settling into the chair opposite him.

"No problem," Kass smiled, "Anything you need I'm your gal," she said smirking.
"It's kind of an unusual set. I have pre-recorded tracks for keyboard, rhythm guitar, bass, and drums set so that I can sing and play lead on stage." Bram set his newspaper down and rubbed his soul patch. "The set starts off with four covers. First I do Die, Die My Darling by The Misfits, which leads into Twist of Cain by Danzig, and follow that up with Lavatory Love Machine by Edguy. Then I play four of my own original songs. Stardust, Iaijutsu, Black Magic Fever, and Wind.
"After that, I do a cover of Love Thing by Joe Satriani and follow it up with The Price You Pay by Savatage. Then I crank out two more originals, Fortune Favors the Bold and Reign of Steel.
"Finally, I end the night with a heavy metal remix of the Legend of Zelda theme. What do you think?"

Kass listened smiling at him, "Wow," she nodded, " Sounds awesome. I'd love to watch you perform."
Bram smiled and walked back up to the bedroom to retrieve the rest of his clothes. When he came back down, he laced up his shoes and tied his hair back while sitting on the couch.
"Come on over. It'll take me a while to work through the set, and I still have to keep practicing after that."

"Alright, let me just straighten this place up first," Kass smiled at him, "THan I'll be over."
Bram took the time to set up everything in his studio downstairs. Even after Kass had arrived, he was still doing a soundcheck to make sure everything was perfect. His music was his life, so he treated it with reverence.
The first few covers he did very fluidly. He managed a very ghoulish vocal tone in Die, Die My Darling and Twist of Cain.
For Lavatory Love Machine, he really hammed up his performance. His goofy facial expressions during the chorus in particular were amusing.
Stardust was a soft instrumental with acoustic guitar and piano accompaniment.
Iaijutsu had a distinctly Far Eastern feel to it, and the lyrics described an ancient Japanese duel.
Black Magic Fever was a standard roof-raising rock anthem.
Wind was a gentle ballad with piano accompaniment.
Love Thing was heavy on the wah pedal, but very entertaining nevertheless.
The Price You Pay was more sinister and dramatic sounding, and Bram's shrieks and snarls only added to the atmosphere.
His final two original songs seemed to be evil twins. Fortune Favors the Bold was a hard-rocking staccatto anthem of self-empowerment, and Reign of Steel was a dissonant heavy metal story of a future not unlike that of The Matrix or The Terminator.
The closing cover of the Legend of Zelda theme was easily the funniest of the set, though. Bram's little dance number to accompany his solo guitar translated his love for his music into his showmanship.
