hey there. They have not announced the winners online or posted this years pics but you know the website don't you? Is there a favorite that you remember. I can see if I have a picture of it.

No, what is the website? Is it Orangeshow? I know there have been many battles between Orangeshow and the craft fair, yadda yadda.......

My favorite is the cockroach mobile. Then the VW Rabbit that hopped (and had big chihones hanging). I also always looked for the girl who was always body painted or wearing glued on feathers. She was never in a car, just cute.

Of course, the St Arnold car was my favorite advertisment car. There was one sculptor who always did incredible works. Always something new and fun. Oh, and the fish van, and the carboat. I loved seeing them driving I-10 during the year. Ah, the memories.

Haha! Alright, I'm off for the evening. Have fun and feel free to drop in here anytime. There's usually someone about who's looking to chat. :)

Cool! Did you have a good time performing?

Yes, but it was pretty painful. Its pretty hard to stay upright while playing an instument on a moving trailor. My fingers, back and feet were toast afterwards. My guitar strings started to feel like bailing wire about half way threw the route from all the sweat.

Not when the damn tow vehicle has a sticky throttle. Also, you had to tune by ear because the sun was so bright that you couldnt see the LED on the tuner. A lot of the little things you take for granted on stage are completely out the window in that environment.

I was pretty much soaked with sweat by 9am from setting up the trailor. But playing infront of a few hundred thousand people (completely sober I might ad) was a thrill.

Oh yeah, one other thing worth noting is that every time the drummer hit the kick drum the trailor would bounce. At the end of the the day we had sea legs.
