I have AOL and with e-mail notification whenever someone replies in a thread I get an instant e-mail notifying me

You can also subscribe at the bottom of a thread. In your control panel, it will show when someone has posted or you can click to see all subscribed threads.

Hi all! Been a while since I've posted here - or anywhere for that matter. Works been busy and home even busier!

Just two short weeks til my company moves downtown. Who wants to show me around the tunnel system so I don't get lost! I'll also be joining the ranks of the Metro shuttle group! Luckily the company is picking up 100% of the cost of that for those of us chosing to take the bus.

Got to go yesterday to see the new office - it's pretty - nice view of the library and City Hall, so I think that puts me fairly close to Someplace at work. Not sure how long I'll work down there, but while I'm there, might as well get to know my way around!

Oh yeah. My office overlooks the park and the library as well so you're pretty damn close. Give me a holler when you get there and I'll show you a few of the secrets. Riding the bus is really much nicer than it sounds. Get ready to get spoiled.

Hey Someplace - I'll need to get a phone number when I get there - look for an email soon.

I'm not looking forward to the move at all - you'll have to work on me about it. I'm going to miss my view of I-10. In the new office location I'm put into a hole - no window and a smaller space - us bean counters are always treated this way - smallest section of the office, smallest individual offices, etc. OH well - at least I have a job, with insurance, and benefits and tons of vacation time.

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! I'll be offline most likely until sometime next week - so enjoy your Turkey and the holiday!

I had been in town for so long, now, I go out to the country every day from in the city. Twice the miles, and sometimes less time. Go figure.
