Oh how silly you are. Everyone knows EVERYTHING is BETTER in Texas!
Better perhaps, but some people also factor in BIGGER. Everything is not BIGGER with me!

Quality is Job #1.
That is what Ford says, and I agree, of course.

Avis, 'We try harder' or, BMW Service 'Done right the first time'. THose are all my mottos. Of course I always liked 'The customer comes first' too.

But what about McDonald's and the need for 'Supersize?' I get a lot of email telling me that I should do the same thing. (How did they know?)

ANd, more people in Texas drive huge SUVs, and laugh at the guys with the little Mini, even though the Mini can go further on a gallon, and park just about anywhere.

If you hurry...

You can still make the Auto Show in Motion at Reliant. I had far too much fun driving things like a 400 horsepower Corvette, the H2 and countless other vehicles around their tracks.

The most magical words I've heard in a long time were "Floor It!" while driving the Vette. What a rush!

It ends tomorrow - April 10th.

I used to own an '86 Mustang GT... then considered the fastest 'regular' production vehicle... top end over 150 mph. I actually did about 148 on a stretch between Houston and San Antonio...

Now, you may remember that Mustangs were rear wheel drive, and all the weight goes over the front wheels... so those cars get squirrely at that speed... thus, I would love to drive something new that actually grabs the ground.

Why didn't you get me one for my birthday?

PS I have also been in a real Indy racer, but not at speed... the engineer told me that at speed there is so much down force that they could drive upside down in a tunnel, and stick to the roof.

So, maybe you could get me a ride in one of those for next year, (hint hint)

Driving upside down sounds like fun! Gives new meaning for seat belts!
